481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: July 03, 2018, 01:32:14 PM
Litecoin is for those who look for stability, but don’t expect it to grow at a high pace like Ethereum or Bitcoin.
You can’t invest in it expecting it to increase by 20 times.

It's most likely growing at the same pace as Bitcoin if Bitcoin increases. And if it turns out that Litecoin is more viable for everyday transactions in the long run, it could perhaps outperform Bitcoin over some period of time.

What are you talking about? It grew by almost 100x last year. Meaning it vastly outperformed Bitcoin.

I didn't imply the opposite with my comment. I said that it could outperform Bitcoin again although another 100x is a bit difficult to imagine. I wouldn't be against it for sure Wink

I was targeting the original post. I can see how it could be understood that I was only replying to you. Sorry about that Wink
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LCC] Litecoin Cash | SHA256 LTC fork @ block 1371111 | 10:1 claim ratio on: July 03, 2018, 06:16:22 AM

The coin is the strongest in the niche of SHA-256 cryptos. In terms of efficiency, speed and security its top. I have never seen such a strong community support in an early stage. While BTC is facing many challenges due to there limitations my partner and I came to the conclusion that all the hardware of miners that is out needs to go somewhere and as BTC has exponentially increasing energy consumption while less and less coins get out. LCC might observe a big part of the bitcoin infrastructure as its compatible. And while analysing the market we didnt find any other so strong SHA-256 coin. And the future growth of the entire scene will be huge.

In terms of security it's shit Wink

It was 51% attacked and can be any time a SHA256 miner feels bored.

With regard to yesterday's entertainment. Anybody care to speculate who's been paying the troll patrol to gum up our works before moonshots? Now that all the socks are off, maybe we can start being honest with each other. Roll Eyes

is there some commandment from the core team that i dont know about? one that says btc MUST be stored in segwit addys, MOVE THEM NOW!!

you do know core supports legacy addys. and it always will support legacy addys. so i will continue long term hodl coins in legacy format. my choice.

this "YOU SHOULD STORE ALL YOUR COINS IN SEGWIT OR YOU ARE A SHILL OF SOME TYPE" stuff is ridiculous. i use core. i chose to use legacy for storage, segwit for spending.

ok now go ahead and accuse me of being something or another.

You seem to be reasonable. And I personally find it very disturbing to see that in this thread.

TO THE MOOOOON!

Don't jinx it! Wink

LTC chart looks not very good. I think we can see 0.01 price soon, if the market will not go up. From the other hand, investing in LTC is investing without any risk. Because i am sure that this coin will recover its position in future.
And one more question - guys, nobody have not problems with depositing LTC to HitBTC? i can not receive my tokens for two hours and a little nervous.

Check the transaction on the blockchain explorer.
487  Economy / Speculation / Re: There's no point in re-testing $1300 on: June 29, 2018, 01:09:28 PM
The optimum word here is 'test'. And it can have two outcomes... It can successfully bounce back up or burn right through.

What you are suggesting is an artificial pump.
488  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which will happen first? BTC=$4999 or less, or $10,000 or more on: June 29, 2018, 10:31:05 AM
My best guess is that the fall under $5k would happen before a rise over $10k.

Icoti niso najbolj perspektivni več. Osredotočanje na btc je dobra zamisel. Obstaja programček, s katerim si dejansko povečujete število bitcoinov. worth to try Smiley

490  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hi Legendaries! Any predictions as to when will the bitcoin will rise frm 2day? on: June 28, 2018, 01:26:41 PM
Hi Legendaries!  Any strong predictions as to when will the bitcoin will rise from today's price?

Gathering wise answers from you  Smiley  Thanks Guys! Cheesy

The general market direction will be down for the near term. We may get a relief rally in the next month or so but it will likely be short lived. And we probably won't get over $10k.

My best guess is that we will be seeing a lot of sideways action in the $3k - $5k range for a long time, possibly years.

And I agree with  BitcoinNewbie15 that the next major rally is most likely in 2019/20.

I could of course be completely wrong... Smiley

Alright look guys. This whole bcash shill thing needs to stop. It has become an automatic reaction for some of you. Kind of like how SJWs call everyone nazis.

There is a simple test for these things. If you can't say something positive about your opponents, then you are the ideologue. Let's have a group exercise this morning. Say something nice about bcashers.

Get the fuck out of here with that "nice" talk.   Angry Angry

*cough* fag *cough*

Bitcoin headed to $1000, tons of altcoins are going to disappear up their own ass and the next set of altcoins (bitcoin included) will depend on what exchange emerge strong.

Since really every person was talking about Bitcoin during the last Bullrun, I think there is too much weight on it in order to have the crazy and relentless growth we saw the last time.

My guess: And established modern Altcoin could overtake Bitcoin easily with the next crypto bull run.

Which one?

MEH-Ether?
cRipple?
BCrash?
hype-EOS?
LITCoin?
492  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000,000 by 2028 on: June 28, 2018, 11:12:30 AM
Some basic common sense and math are missing in this prediction. $10mil per BTC would bring the marketcap to three times the current money supply in the world.

Even if BTC is the only currency by then, it would require us to have an average 10+% yearly economic growth worldwide. Year on year, for the next 10 years.

Let that sink in...
493  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Slovenija (Slovenia) on: June 26, 2018, 03:07:15 PM

494  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000,000 by 2028 on: June 26, 2018, 02:15:42 PM
Seems a bit steep. That would put the market cap at about three times of all the fiat money in the world.

P.S. You spelled HODL wrong Wink

See if there is a debate within the lightning network developers and community
1) Distributed or Indirect is the new word for centralization (Illumination Society, Bankers, Deep State)
2) If there is heated debate step 1 is true

I'm active in the lightning network developer community and this is the first of this "heated debate" nonsense I have heard.

The real LN community and developers are too busy working on improving the protocol, usability, and robustness - don't give a single flying fuck about these issues you speak of.

Stop making shit up, guy.

Do you by any chance propose that we instead switch to fact based FUD?

Blasphemy!

We'll see in two weeksTM

@katanic97

- južno slovanski so OK?
- slovanski so OK
- indo-evropski so OK
- Huh

Blah, blah, blah... MANO! Blah, blah, blah... MASTERNODE! Blah, blah, blah...

Are we going back to the $7000 levels this week?

The word possibly comes to mind. But I wouldn't bet on it.

I don't want to jinx it, but the price action is looking good.

Jinx confirmed! Tongue
