A lot of people have this problem right now, including me. I haven't been able to play since this morning.

It is working again for me now; I can access the website now and I'm able to play.

I guess it's fixed now, or do you still experience this?
603  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Trading 200 BTC for PayPal money on: February 22, 2015, 07:15:01 PM
Be aware people, only send such amount of BTC / money for a trade through PayPal if you réálly trust the counterparty.

Thus, in this situation, leave it. It will probably turn out to be a big scam. PayPal transactions are reversible.

605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Fibonacci Info and questions on: February 22, 2015, 04:01:34 PM

About time!

It feels really good to know people are being charged for what they did to crypto community.

I did not invest in Fibonacci or CacheCoin, but certainly I'm worried that people try to pull such scams. They must be punished.

I haven't heard much about that / the lawsuit stated here: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=22912.0.

Can someone provide us with some updates (if there are any) or tell us where to find these updates?

Looking for only a few minutes through these topics, I see how much damage have been done. Unbelieveble. I've lost a big part of my BTC due to this too, but it's heartbreaking to see people loosing many thousands of $'s to this.
606  Local / Alt Coins (Nederlands) / Re: Het grote guldencoin topic - 81 Winkels Accepteren Guldencoin - ios app on: February 22, 2015, 03:52:57 PM

https://vimeo.com/120167242

In tekst:

1. Pizza uitzoeken
2. Naar afrekenen
3. Kies voor betalen met Bitcoin

If you haven't, you can send me a PM. I will give it a try then Wink.

609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TagCoin for Advertising and Rewards on: February 22, 2015, 03:36:26 PM
Let me know if the TAG community leaders have an interest in being involved with a multi-coin community crowdfunding platform:
http://cryptos.us/crypto-news/item/61-10-cryptocurrency-communities-to-unite-to-form-powerful-crowdfunding-platform

Did you have had a reply on this of Tagbond?

Maybe getting involved in such idea makes this coin more popular. However, it does not really relates with the original idea of a coin for Advertising and Rewards. Which is actually a nice and (at that time) innovative idea though. I'm proud supporting this coin since the earlier days, but I guess only time will tell whether this original idea is going to be a success.

610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Applecoin V2 - POS+I2P+DIY wallet on: February 22, 2015, 03:31:56 PM
an apple coin ? just what we needed , where do i put my money

Please actually read a topic (and do some research) before you make such replies. Applecoin has been long around here; and it was booming!

However, this is something like a new coin; Applecoin V2 which is POS.  It is different than the orginal, which you could mine in the earlier days. In the very beginning it was easy to mine, but suddently it became véry popular in China (and that's why it gained much value).  However, trading platforms dissapeared, miners left the coin, and it looks like the (orginal) coin isn't really alive anymore - which is sad.
611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: STAR COIN [STR] - The coin with bonus STAR blocks on: February 22, 2015, 03:29:13 PM
i have seen Stellar use the same unit for their coins same as starcoin (STR) but starcoin was released first then why they choosed the STR symbol while there was an altcoin already in the market with same symbol?

Probably to capitalize on existing trademarks.

What a con man gonna do?

Never have an original idea is a good start.
Or in this case steal the ticker from a long listed coin ... speaking of Trademark.

Stellar is a 97% whale owned coin, all premine, yes only 3% has been floated to the public.

Stealers Wink

STAR COIN is STR

Amen!

I think Starcoin (STR !) had a nice Original idea with it's bonus blocks - it was one of this first that could actually provides this feature in a right way -. However, nowadays it looks like allmost anyone has left the coin unfortunately. Looking for example at Cryptsy trading volume in the last 24 hours (= 0.006 BTC), this doesn't look like it is going to be popular again soon. I guess it has been put on the list of coins that are going to be forgotten soon.. And I dislike that idea.
612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: GRAND COIN - 1 GRAND PER BLOCK and SUPER BLOCKS released TODAY 13/07/13 on: February 22, 2015, 03:24:08 PM
Appearently the coin is still alive: On Cryptsy I do see some fluctuations and even a small pump I guess.

Unfortunately this didn't involve an huge amount of BTC. It should; that would definately bring the coin back to live as it will gain much more attention then. Like it had in the glory days (which made me earn some nice money - but lost even more).
613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Applecoin V2 - POS+I2P+DIY wallet on: February 22, 2015, 03:22:23 PM

I don't think you can trade them 1:1. But you really missed an opportunity to sell those 80.000 old Applecoins for great money! Months ago those Applecoins were definately worth a lot.

Currently, they don't have much value.. I'm not into the new Applecoin.

I am in this for the long term, not quick profits. But how could I know that the coin is going to be "cancelled"?! When they were still worth a lot, I contacted a guy with a website where you could exchange, among a lot of others, Applecoin for precious metals. He never answered. That would have been my chance.

Excuse me for the late response. I think you could only know that this was going to happen if you were (very) active on these forums.

I'm not really up-to-date anymore (regarding all cryptocoins), but I have not see any great changes for this coin's value yet;

I believe the old ones are thus still active; I still own them too. They have not 'vanished' or something.  Just HODL them and hope someday the old coin becomes active. Although this is unlikely I guess, it is not impossible.

The Original Applecoin made me some nice money, but I also lost much due to a Chinese trading platform going offline (together with my Applecoins) and I still own some of them now (in the old, Original wallet).

614  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it hit $1000 again? on: February 22, 2015, 03:16:46 PM
Again, we lost 10$(247$-237$) today, So you got to belive we couldn't reach 1000$ in a short time.

Looks like the price somehow keeps decreasing.. Even if the acceptation of the coin rises.

I think some disruptive innovations have to come around the increase the value of the coin again. Maybe some innovations that make it even more easier to use Bitcoin for the "normal" people.
615  Economy / Reputation / Re: Do you think BiPolarBob is crazy ?? *share your deals you did with him before* on: February 22, 2015, 03:14:05 PM
BiPolarBob seems to be a legend around here. Truly some funny sh*t has been said. Curious to see if he returns...

Sure he will. I think he will be back again and open a new give-away as soon as he feels like doing that. When he wants, he will Wink.

My assumption he a early bitcoin adopter who stashed thousands of bitcoins. Those amount he give has very little value to him. He just do it for fun.

That might be the reason indeed. I bet we never know Wink.
616  Economy / Digital goods / Re: selling amazon gift cards for btc on: January 30, 2015, 05:27:07 PM
Okay, I will probably send you a PM later, as I'm not home now. Might take a couple of days if they're still available.

Edit; although I'm not really into trading with such new forum members. But we'll see.
617  Economy / Digital goods / Re: selling amazon gift card for btc on: January 29, 2015, 11:07:18 PM
Please provide some more information about the prices and the cards you offer.

Are you sure these cards are legit? Is there a way that you can proove that? I might be interested.
618  Local / Off-topic (Nederlands) / Re: Amazon(.com) gift codes kopen on: January 27, 2015, 02:20:11 PM

619  Local / Off-topic (Nederlands) / Re: Amazon(.com) gift codes kopen on: January 26, 2015, 10:11:30 PM

620  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risks of buying Amazon.com gift cards / gift codes on: January 26, 2015, 10:05:11 PM
Great to see all your replies. Thank you!

Pock and other services allow you to buy Amazon cards. However bitcart.io goes further and gives you 20-25% off when you buy on Amazon. It's a no brainer.

Hey, that website matches with your username. Ofcourse it's a recommended website then Wink.

I'll check the alternatives this week.
