1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TradeHill might become the top site over MTGox because of Referral and Discount on: June 09, 2011, 10:47:17 PM
TradeHill IS mtGox-- Look at the layout.

20 currencies but you can only deposit in INR and USD? No offers in any other currency? If you want to promote that we're able to use 20 currencies, you have to start acting like a market maker for those currencies or any individual person trying to sell coins in a specific currency can move the entire market.

50 different payout options, yeah if you count each type of Gamecard as an option.

What a joke. I'll be sticking with mtGox, liquidity is king.
2  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Cooperative mining (640Ghash/s) on: June 01, 2011, 09:30:50 PM
Hi everyone,

I got an e-mail indicating that I was paid out by slush's pool about an hour ago, but nothing has shown up in my Bitcoin client.

I did however notice this warning in my Bitcoin client:

WARNING: Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade.

I have the latest version of the application for Windows (0.3.21).. any insights?
Be patient, also make sure your blockchain is fully downloaded in your bitcoin client.
It will come through, dont panic, you can check its progress on this site: http://bitcoincharts.com/bitcoin/ ... It is probably just a very low priority transaction.

Thanks for your reply MiningBuddy,

Ok.. checking the progress I see that the coin has been received, but it's not showing up in my Bitcoin client... also, the number of confirmations of previously received transactions have stopped counting up and all have frozen for the last twelve or so hours.

I believe this has to do with the warning I got (posted in my original message).. I tried re-installing the Bitcoin client to no avail.

Any info would be greatly appreciated..

4  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: [MINER] Phoenix - New efficient, fast, modular miner **BFI_INT support!** on: May 25, 2011, 04:23:15 AM
Hoping someone can help me here because i'm seeing some strange behavior in phoenix miner

when i'm mining on a pool i get a good hash rate and my accepted/rejected ratio is around 2000/40.

however, when i'm mining solo (using bitcoind as server and http://user:pass@localhost:8332 as the server) it shows that it is connected to the server and the hash rate is 430mh/s but it consistently stays at 0 Accepted and 0 Rejected.

anyone have an idea of what's going on? here's the commandline i'm using

-u http://user:pass@localhost:8332 -k poclbm device=0 vectors bfi_int aggression=7

any help would be greatly appreciated!
