41  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BitCoin Mining problems (GPU connection/cummunication problems) on: November 19, 2013, 04:37:41 PM
13.1 does not work for me... I keep getting a message at the end of the Installation to view the log, the log says, at error messages: "Error: Installation Failed"
Well that sucks...
installing 12.8...

well there probably all going to fail
uninstall all AMD drivers then run this tool
http://downloads.guru3d.com/downloadget.php?id=1275&file=4&evp=7b9d6ae343b65b8df84cc27ec59796f5

this removes anything left over by AMD
Restart and run 13.1 install again and all should work

43  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What happens if 2 people generate the same bitcoin wallet address? on: November 19, 2013, 04:30:23 PM
i belive it has happend once and only once so far. im not sure if it was true or not but there where threads about it some time ago.. anyhow if you generated 1000 bitcoin addresses a second for a million years i think it works out at a 50% chance so yeh not very likely
44  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 'Crash' Bitcoin on: November 19, 2013, 04:27:57 PM

45  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What about lost transactions? on: November 19, 2013, 04:26:11 PM
bitcoins only get lost if there are alot and i mean alot of transactions in a small amount of time with no network fees. this is why most clients automatically add a fee to any transfer. iv never heard of it happening on a transfer from 1 person to lets say 10 people with no fees this just takes a long time.

have you tried restoring the back up to a local wallet "bitcoin-qt" trying your passwords on that

also make sure your keyboard layout is the same as before. if its a new install most defaults are US keyboard and if your UK the " and @ change places its can be a bitch at the best of times

53  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Showing Low Hashrate on Pool on: November 19, 2013, 10:57:40 AM
the pool calculates it on how many shares you submit and how many are accepted

easy miner i think counts all shares both rejected and accepted
it could be down to a bad internet connection with a high ping
but more likely its lack of cooling causing the chips to overheat a throttle back
make sure theres room around the miner and that its got good airflow
then if it still happens try disconecting the miner and letting it cool so the case is cold then plug it back in and see if its back to normal
if that dosnt work use a newer version of cgminer id recommend 3.5
54  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New miner blade setup help? on: November 18, 2013, 10:10:12 PM
check all the connections. sometimes if the blade isnt sat just right in the back plate it wont get power. also try other slots. this is the problem with new people using 2nd hand hardware. it will either be something stupidly simple such as a bad bad connection or something really complx such as a bad blade or PSU
55  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sent money to bitcoin address...recipient address on blockchain.info says 0 BTC on: November 18, 2013, 10:06:01 PM
to transfer bitcoins out of mtgox you need to have a verified account. this means sending them id and such.

58  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My first post.... Skullhead!!! Need Answers... on: November 18, 2013, 01:27:55 PM
if its got a long secure password then no its not easy to hack aslong as its random and not just a bunch of words
the only exception is if you have a backup of the wallet before it was encrypted. that backup would still be unencrypted
59  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: trying to send bitcoin to wallet on: November 18, 2013, 01:24:59 PM
