5  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to create gambling site? on: December 21, 2014, 04:04:25 PM
Hi, does anyone know how can i make site like bitwheel.io ?
I think there is script for it.. can someone make tutorial? :O
It's not as easy as you might think.
I think it might be better if you just look up how to do certain things for it; but you can't just find a tutorial for a complete gambling site.
You will need:
- a strong random number generator, which must be verifiable to the users.
- a well optimised database (MySQL or whatever). Make sure everything that can be indexed is indexed.
- PHP scripts for site logic and game logic
- website design, hosting, SSL certificate, ...
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: What would you do with 35 bitcoins? on: December 21, 2014, 11:15:44 AM
I would put 30 BTC in a paper wallet and use the remaining 5 BTC to daytrade in 2015. I would keep a close eye on any news concerning bitcoin, and watch out for new major companies accepting the currency. When a few more big companies join the boat, it could easily spark new interest, driving the price up.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Microsoft beat Google to accepting Bitcoin! on: December 21, 2014, 09:33:35 AM
Do people buy things from Microsoft? hahaha.

Well, yes. 90% of the world PC operating system is using window. So what do you think?
This is not what Microsoft is accepting bitcoin for. They are only accepting it in their xbox store (not for actual xboxs though) although they may expand this in the future
Yeah... I noticed just recently. I checked out the payment options and bitcoin was nowhere to be seen, even though i read articles claiming otherwise. At first i thought it's just because i'm not in the US.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My bitcoin reward keeps decreasing!? on: December 21, 2014, 08:27:34 AM
The total hashrate of the network keeps increasing. The more devices participate, the more calculating power there is.
The network adapts, by increasing the difficulty, so that blocks keep coming at 10 minute intervals on average.

Your 4 miners have a certain hashrate, which doesn't change. However, your proportion of the total hashrate gets lower and lower, since the network gets bigger and bigger. It's normal for your income to get lower over time, and it's the nature of bitcoin.
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please help ! Unconfirmed transaction . Waited for a day still havnt reached .tx on: December 20, 2014, 06:17:48 PM
It looks like the transaction went through now.
When you submit a transaction without a transaction fee, miners will not prioritize your transaction, since it wouldn't earn them anything.
These transactions get confirmed eventually, but it might take a very long time...
10  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Heard of sharethebtc.com? on: December 20, 2014, 06:14:30 PM
Can a mod please do something about this thread? This is very clearly a classic pyramid scheme scam, including fake newbie accounts advertising it.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you make of this? on: December 20, 2014, 05:03:28 PM
I would assume that's a whale buying and selling.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: I don't know about you guys...but all this fear is getting me excited.. on: December 20, 2014, 05:01:58 PM
The charts are being manipulated to make you think it's bad but I see huge accumulation happening... We will have a huge bounce considering too many shorters in the market and still no ability to break below 300.

The bounce is about to start, buy now or cry later!  Cry

img removed by me to make the quote shorter

I agree.

The prices are manipulated. Huge traders made out with btc at cheap prices. They were in no hurry to push it up till now. But, I think now it is about to explode.

How do you guys think the price is manipulated? Sometimes I think there's no other reason or logic other than supply and demand and people panic selling.

There are probably some pump and dump or dump and buy then sell but the supply and demand forces and panic selling are good explanations of the current price.
Pump and dump by who? There's quite a bit of trade volume. If Mt.Gox still existed it would make sense though.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: The BULL RUN has BEGUN? on: December 20, 2014, 02:43:19 PM
Bitcoin "went to the moon" a few times already. I'm pretty sure it's not going to recover back to those old highs anytime soon. But the recent rise seems pretty big. Would anyone know WHY this is happening?
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why are we seen as "early adopters"? on: December 20, 2014, 02:38:45 PM
The early adopters would be those who got into bitcoin before it hit mass media. Which is before mid 2012, i suppose?
15  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: need some advice regarding my bitcoin faucet on: December 20, 2014, 01:04:21 PM
mac addresses can be changed.

You could make it harder by using a username and password, and requiring people to register via email. That wouldn't solve your problem, but it would help make it not worth their time.
You could also block known TOR exit nodes.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: pc vs. mac and wallet.dat file on: December 19, 2014, 02:23:28 PM
but Win e OS have the same File Systems??
how you can use file from windows to iOS???
You are confusing iOS with Mac OSX.
Windows, Mac and iOS use different default filesystems, but that's not the problem.
OSX supports NTFS and FAT32 nowadays, so it shouldn't be an issue to move your files from one filesystem to the other.
Once the wallet.dat is moved, you can just run bitcoin-qt on a Mac and have it use the same wallet.dat file you used to use on Windows.
17  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Apple company got caught running labor scams on: December 19, 2014, 02:20:31 PM
1) This issue has been known for quite a while, specifically with Foxconn
2) The Chinese government is also responsible for this, they are very aware of these issues, but they decide not to do anything about it, because it keeps Chinese labour cheap. If they lose this unique position, where labour becomes just as expensive as in the US or EU, the country would have to go through major restructuring. The working conditions of the Chinese workers is a problem for China to solve. It would be wrong to blame EVERYTHING on Apple. Ofcourse it's very immoral, and that's what capitalism will do if there is nothing keeping it from doing these things.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: I TOLD YOU SO! on: December 19, 2014, 01:58:20 PM
Wasn't Bitcoin already declared failed when it hit $600 $500 $400 after the +$1000 peak  Cheesy

Sounds like some people got burned heavily  Tongue

How exactly has bitcoin failed? Just because the price dropped back to normal levels doesn't mean it's failed...
By that logic, almost any currency in the world has failed. Look at the ruble just recently.
19  Economy / Digital goods / Re: MICROSOFT KEYS AND DIRECT DOWNLOAD ($0.8-$4,POSITIVE FEEDBACKS, SPECIAL OFFER) on: December 19, 2014, 01:22:26 PM
I recently started a software company; and i'm looking for cheap Microsoft products (Bizspark).
What you're offering here is useless to anyone who wants to use this in the business world.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: I TOLD YOU SO! on: December 19, 2014, 01:18:09 PM
Well, since christmas is coming, a lot of people sold their BTC in order to buy gifts for their family/friends.
But this is quite a drop...
