I know that, the cash equivalent value of bounties are declined due to price slide. If the winners sell their SLR, the price will drop once again. I'm long holder and supporter of Solarcoin. But I'm losing faith. That's the bear market. I can't tell you what the future holds, but I can say I've seen this before. There are always periods of drought. Problem is that the Drought is caused by the Sun and even when it Rains SLR through the Leaky ceiling, the ground just dries up too fast. Need to make a buy climate instead of a dry climate. No reason to buy SLR right now. It's a good time to buy SLR.

Stage 1 of CBX 2017 Road-map update:
Coding for the hardfork to implement BPNs is almost complete (75%) and will soon begin internal testing. Next steps after completion will be as follows: • Auto bootstrap load / trouble shooting tool integration into Vault build • QR support • GUI redesign and addition of in wallet metrics
Since you're already working on the code, can you add a changeable data directory to make it easier for those who wish to run the wallet/vault on IoT devices? Do you mean the -datadir= command line argument? It already exists. I can run it from the command line in linux, but it's sloppy, at least on the versions I'm using. Having an option in software would make things much easier. In order for this kind of technology to be adopted more readily, it's better to keep things as simple as possible from the users perspective. In windows I can add the line on the shortcut, but in Ubuntu I'm having trouble. *edit: Okay I found a workaround. I had to insert a launch icon on the desktop with the right parameters. I used "alacarte" to create the menu item, added the datadir command, and added the icon to the desktop. It now pulls the data from my chosen data directory. This is a pain in the rear though, but it works.

DYOR
excuse my ignorance, but what does it mean? or just trolling a newbie I believe it's: Do Your Own Reserch It's what I'm doing, thanks anyway [/quote] It's really for the best. Everyone has an opinion and it's not always in your best interest. The facts are out there in plain sight. I always visit Bitcointalk and look through the messages, as well as looking at the history of the project, and if there's other resources like reddit etc. I don't mean to be rude. I just find that you get the best data from just quietly browsing news sources. After a while you'll be able to spot good projects, and decide if you want to invest.

Does ubiqpool.io not payout block rewards? Found 3 so far with 0 rewards.
Pays out all the time. Could be stuck. Does that occasionally. How long does it take to unstick? Found the first one a couple of weeks ago and still not seen anything from it, and the other 2 have been found since then, and nothing from them either. It's been working fine for me. Been getting regular payouts. Maybe your payment address isn't right?

Doing some rough arithmetic about Solarcoins value, even at 10x growth, it would only hit a 70 million market cap. That wouldn't even put it in the top 50 which still seems undervalued.
Also consider if the foundation wants to grant 98 billion coins in a 40 year period, which we're already about 2-3 years in, that's roughly 2.5 billion coins a year. Is that possible? Probably not in the short term. I see a gradual curve of growth until the last few years where we may see exponential growth of claims, however I still think we'll fall short of the grant goal, just by looking at those figures. It's hard to give stuff away, and 98 billion "stuffs" is quite a challenge. If within the next 5 years or so the Solarcoin foundation can grant 7 million coins a year, that will double the coin supply in circulation and get the coins in the right hands. That's a more reasonable challenge that I think will have a huge impact on Solarcoin's value, not to mention subsidizing an additional 35 million MW/h of clean sustainable electricity! Until then, even with some crude mathematics it's easy to conclude the undervalued nature of Solarcoin right now.
We've already witnessed 100x growth from Solarcoins very bottom, conservatively if you look at the numbers on average from where the price generally stabilized a couple of years ago (at around 1200 satoshis) it's still 33x growth from a small number of grants and awareness.

Diamond coin just went crazy. Solarcoin is so undervalued it's crazy
Solarcoin - 98.1 billion total coin in the system, this is too much coins. Diamond only 4.38 million total coin in the system. In my opinion it's more like Doge than Diamond It's enough to satisfy a 40 year participation rate. I do not think that all these 40 years people will be buying coins knowing that inflation continues and continues. But in any case, good luck to your project and the opportunity to find your place under the sun That's the whole point. They don't buy them, they're granted for solar production.

Still confused. Got mysleft RX 460. It mines all of these: ETH, UBQ, EXP the same speed 12 MH/s, so it is strange why it differs so much on my previous R7 370 card...
Every card is different. The hardware on each model is different so you'll get different results. My older 7950's can push out 23 MH/s (UBIQ) with a slight overclock. Ethereum is different due to the dag file size, as is exp. I get slightly more hash for exp than ethereum. I see. Still strange to consider which card to buy, when seller of R7 370 said he gets 37 Mh/s from 2x cards for ETH, later i discovered that it gets that much for EXP, similar even higher for UBQ, and checked only 23+ MH/s for ETH from 2x cards. By this calculation bought 3x RX 360 seller stated he is getting ~13,5 MH/s ETH each, so i though, i should get like 20 MH/s UBQ, but sadly almost same Mh/s for UBQ as for ETH. Hard to decide before buying. Drivers, operating system, and even strapping can make a huge difference on throughput as well. Especially with certain cards, sometimes an older driver works better, sometimes the newer one is best. I use linux for mining, and with my hardware I can only run certain versions of the operating systems, and only certain versions of the vid drivers are even compatible. For example claymore's miner recommends catalyst 15.12 for mining. I think I'm running that version, but I don't have much choice. With ubuntu anyway, it downloads the right driver from the repository and I don't know linux well enough to change it much. But even that is a trial and error thing sometimes. I don't even want to get into custom kernels. There are mining farms out there running kernels that put anything us normals use to shame.
