1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 02, 2019, 10:43:46 AM
Well, good times are back.  Nice to wake up to 400 million in short wreckage.  Was so used to seeing 200m in longs getting it.    It's been way past due for the bears to have something to worry about.

I'm curious what the super low short lending rate is telling us?   Went back and looked through 2017 charts until today and it has never been this low on Bitmex.   Maybe I'm missing something here.

Looks normal to me ?

Been looking at this Daily interest.  https://datamish.com/d/000000004/btcusd?orgId=1&from=1550747198088&to=1550790398088

Maybe it's off or something.

4  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much Bitcoin to accumulate now to be financially set after the next boom? on: February 07, 2019, 10:58:24 PM
Next boom who knows maybe 21 or 210. Cheesy    When the real boom happens,  you'll only need 1.   Remember less than 21 million people in the whole world can own 1 bitcoin.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 06, 2019, 12:14:28 AM
There was a small heartbeat a few minutes ago in the BTC charts.  Not sure what that was about though.  Maybe just a stoploss clearing but not sure if it was long or short clearing because it's right back where it started. LOL
6  Economy / Goods / Re: For Sale - Yamaha 2016 YXZ 1000R SE - Yellow on: January 31, 2019, 11:02:45 PM
Thanks guys, it is a lot of fun for sure.  Wish I didn't need to get rid of it but it's just sitting in my garage not being used Sad   Daughter cries every time I tell her we are going to sell it.   It's her favorite ride but I have some hospital bills that need to get paid.

Original price for the buggy and extra's probably cost me little over $26,000.

2016 YXZ1000R SE $19,000
Tubeworks transmission upgrade 70/30 gear ratio reduction, Rekluse clutch with HD clutch plates, Clutch Oiling mod around $2500
Front/Rear windows $500
Front Desert bumper and 3500lb Warn Winch $700
Aurora whips $300
Halo Light bar $500
Weller Racing exhaust and tune - $1100
Has a primary RC2 drum filter and secondary GYTR plenum filter for dusty conditions. $100  Very important to keep dirt out of an offroad vehicle.  #1 way to damage an engine is poor air filtration.
STI HD5 beadlock wheels and 29" OG Bighorn tires probably bought for $1200   Have original set of 27" Bighorn2 tires also with little wear.  It's only been ran on dirt.
Second set of tires on SE bead lock rims for muddy conditions.  30" Outback Max tires $1000  Again these still look brand new.. only ran on dirt/sand.

7  Economy / Economics / Re: Should there be a tax on capital gains? on: January 29, 2019, 08:12:11 PM
Well, if you put a tax on gains, you should have a tax-off for losses....

There is a tax-off for losses but at present in the US.   It's about 3500 dollars, which is a joke.  No limit on how much you can pay but only how much you receive off your burden.

Yep, looking for 4 BTC and it's yours.   It's an off road buggy. No side windows and the front will actually flip up out of the way over the roof if it gets to muddy to see through.

Here's a little ride along at a local off road park.  20 inches of travel so big bumps you don't really feel.  It's made to jump and haul ass over rough terrain.

Trying to sell my Side by Side for BTC.   I need to find a better place to list it.  Only have it on here in the goods section so far.   I don't want fiat just good old Bitcoins or a nice pile of LTC. Cheesy

Well, it's not looking to good.  171 Million in longs liquidated in the past 24 hours on bitmex alone.   Over 15k shorts have covered without many liquidations this month.  I sold a bit early while it was rising but it's now below my sell price.  Go figure, it's almost too easy to accumulate.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin: Crypto Hedge Fund Says ‘We’ll See More Lows Before We Head Higher’ on: January 10, 2019, 12:29:50 AM
All kind of false or misleading information in that little article.

Especially.., "Bitcoin may find itself inferior to alternative networks as they are more agile at integrating changes."

Ummmm, the whole point of Bitcoin and why it's the best is because it doesn't change randomly for no good reason.    Those agile random changes are shitcoin gimmicks that never work.

1000 BTC sell wall on Finex at 4079.. was being eaten so it was pulled.  Hmmm, may be going up.   Someone really wants the price lower.   Hopefully all the weak people already dumped in the low 3k's.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 27, 2018, 10:27:11 PM
Wow the plunge protection team was working over time today in the stock market. DOH!..   I'm kind of the PPT for crypto.. if it goes low enough I buy more. To bad I can't give myself unlimited fiat like they can.
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 23, 2018, 12:01:00 PM
So, here's the weekend pump again  Grin

Hopefully the price suppressors will take more days off than just the weekend since it's the Christmas period! Cheesy
In the we'll still go lower though, or at that's what I should believe in order to go up!

I have a hypothesis about the price suppressor's.  Must be the banking industry for sure.  Think they are busy trying to stay afloat in the stock market at the moment and not focusing on Crypto's..   In other words, the stock market crash is keeping them busy elsewhere.

A contact of mine who works in finance just asked me how he could buy 30,000 BTC on behalf of one of his clients

So uh anyone want to do an OTC give me a PM. Introduction only, DYOR yadda yadda

I told him to go speak to Cumberland as well.

This would be easy.  Just pick an exchange like Coinbase and put up 1000 BTC buy walls until you have what you want.  Plenty of bears and panicking newbs around now days to sell into them.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where Bitcoin will skyrocket this time? on: December 20, 2018, 06:53:45 PM
With stock markets crashing, looks like fund managers may be looking for some place to park cash for a return.  Seems some must be throwing it into crypto.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 20, 2018, 06:16:46 PM
Whale fight on Finex.  2000BTC sell and 1000 BTC buy walls.  Yay. I like watching fights.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 20, 2018, 03:31:52 PM
Way back when, I noticed the alts would pump first then BTC would follow.  When BTC would start to slow down, the alts would get sold off to boost BTC's price up.   Wonder what game is afoot on this one.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 20, 2018, 03:24:02 PM
Wonder how high we going to go?  Shorts did lower a bit.
