1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: who here is mining turtlecoin? on: July 14, 2018, 08:42:55 AM
I just don't get why people have to compare the success of any crypto with its price. There have been many shitcoins with literally no use and value but have high prices only because of advertising or ICO. But that won't help. I don't care about who is mining Turtlecoin, but I am, and I will as I believe in this coin. The developers here are more focused on the development rather than exchanges and price. If you have a great project, it will be a success no matter what. And that's what the Turtlecoin community believes in.

well im using the new xmrstak and its not working with this pool
in the pool.txt

"currency" : "stellite",

Work, bt not so good as SRBminer

With the latest version of xmr-stak, its okay to mention intensecoin as currency as it will use the updated algorithm.

Is Bytecoin going to fork to block ASICs from mining? Can anyone please point to any official source of announcement?

Someone know how i can fix it? I'm already using wallet bellaya 201.

First try popping off the last 2000 blocks, using this command :
intense-blockchain-import --pop-blocks 2000

Then add exclusive nodes for synchronzation:

--add-exclusive-node 140.82.9.90:48772 --add-exclusive-node 62.48.164.60:48772 --add-exclusive-node 5.249.27.162:48772

Anyone provide advice?

Bitcoin As a subject in school

Blockchain as a subject in school/high school.

This sounds better

I think there is some issue with the daemon. The daemon is stuck at some blocks and needs to be restarted many times. Is anyone else facing the same issue?
I'm using the latest wallet v2 CLI.

Hello there is any paper wallet link ?

I've never tested, but there is this site that might help.
https://walletgenerator.net/

It generates a paper wallet for Bitcoin. AFAIK, there's no paper wallet generator for intensecoin yet.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin. Secure, private, untraceable since 2012 on: April 23, 2018, 07:17:54 PM
Introduced back in July 2012, Bytecoin has cemented its place among the promising altcoins for its high-end security policies. With thousands of traders showing interest in this project, it’s not hard to determine why there are so many Bytecoin forks today. What set it apart from its other peers are its highly nuanced security policies: Bytecoin (BCN) is not only regulated by CryptoNote algorithm, it is also the first coin to adopt this technology.

Given the fact that BCN is regulated by the crypto-world’s finest algorithm, it’s not hard to imagine why some of the most vied-after currencies are actually a Bytecoin fork. The king of the dark web Monero, which is widely recognized for its anonymity, is also a fork of Bytecoin. Surprisingly enough, Dash is also a fork of Bytecoin. The CryptoNote algorithm, which has been developed to offer the security of all crypto transactions, is not only acknowledged for its security features but also for its resistance towards ASIC. Much to traders convenience, Bytecoin can be mined by anyone and from anywhere just with the help of a regular computer.

Bytecoin (BCN) (which gave birth to Monero (XMR), Aeon(AEON),  Dash(?) and others (see the diagram below)), a rising altcoin known for its anonymity, is making a comeback in the market. This can be a direct outcome of the controversies generated by Monero (XMR), especially due to the frequent mining scandals. With a steady rise in the price, BCN is definitely regarded among the most promising currencies of 2018, despite its unpopularity among the masses.

source: https://globalcoinreport.com/bytecoin-features-among-the-top-crypto-gainers-this-week/

And now remember my words:  Bytecoin  2018 = $3 - $7

All the points stated by you are correct but it doesn't mean that the coin will be successful. The efforts shown by the team in solving any issues and for the development of BCN are mainly responsible for the downfall of this coin.
Check Monero. Even though it is a fork of BCN, it is the most promising project right now. Why? Because of the community and the team.

Bytecoin can't even deal with the current issue of ASIC miners. Most of the coins have already forked. And right now, they are concerned about their AMA next month.

We must give them time, it has been less than a year since they took over the development of Bytecoin. I think we'll see the results at the end of the year. I think that aiming $ 1 = BCN is not delusional.

Most of the coins having Cryptonight algorithm have already forked and its been a month now. The team is not even making their statements about the ASICs. How much more time do they need?

any solutions?

Try deleting the old blockchain completely and then start syncing again. I had a similar issue but syncing from start solved the problem.

My favaourite ICO is Synthestech. I'm also participating in its signature campaign. Here you invest in real infrastructure.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The existence of bitcoin is still lacking on: April 21, 2018, 09:15:30 PM
This is really an issue that needs to be dealt with. Instead of showing ads leading to some websites to buy bitcoin, we should literate people about bitcoin. And most of the people are attracted to crypto just because they think they'll make huge profits from it. And in the lack of knowledge, it turns out that most of them incur losses.
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The reason people do not want to invest in crypto on: April 21, 2018, 09:12:03 PM
Everything comes with their pros and cons. If these are the cons, also consider the pros. And the pros outweigh the cons.

Is it possible that the team releases the web wallet early before the Q3 so that all the problems related with wallet are solved?
It will be much easier for all the users.
