finally a climate-neutral possibility to mine bitcoin  That's ridiculous. Cat-bread's have almost no torque. I'm more concerned about the labor involved fixing the crankshaft to that particular attach point. I imagine claw proof protective gear is in order. You should always add a spring between the cat and the bread. (aka an rpm governor) When the cat rotates too fast the centrifugal force pushes the bread farther away from the cat reducing the speed.  |

I have seen some comments of yachts. When you have a boat there are only two happy days: - The day you buy it and the day you sell it.   Look at this picture and tell me you don't want it Maintenance costs on a 100m ($200M) super yacht aren't that bad Costs per year$4,000,000 to $15,000,000 on maintenance $2,000,000 on crew (30 crew supplement) $350,000 dockage $300,000 on provisioning (food/drinks/wine cellar/etc.) $240,000 insurance $36,000 on navigation, TV, etc. Other costs $1.1 million on refits every few years Totaling at something like $7M to $20M a year .... So it's not as bad as you think.... You say that maintenance is not expensive  , I prefer not to think about the amount of BTC you have.  My stack is significant... but won't let me buy a ship like that .... yet  |

my wild guess in 2021.
in terms of fractals, the current chart looks like early 2016 to me. that suggests the next bubble top is 1.5-2 years away, and i think $250k is very possible in the next cycle.
I believe 2021 as well. I just hope you guys are right. Waiting for the next bubble sucks |

In addition to Israel, agonist theorists have new discussion topics, such as Trump and Libra. I think this is a good advertisement for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Maybe people who are addicted to conspiracy theories can learn more about Bitcoin and maybe even start using it.
Sorry, but I know the type, they will never adopt bitcoin. They need the evil conspiracies to rule the Earth, so that they can sell books about these groups. Its just business for them. Trump will endorse it if we fork it into TrumpCoin.... |

There might be no trick to predicting the price but there is to buying/selling. If it is quiet and not much is happening buy. If your grandma and coworkers talk bitcoin every day for a week GTFO! Or wait for the first dump and dump too... |

$10400 I predict the price of Bitcoin in 2020 will not be far from $ 10k to $ 16k, but if there are more countries in 2020 who follow the leader of China creating their own cryptocurrency, so I predict the price of Bitcoin in 2020 will be at $ 10k to $ 25k. from what I have noticed, the media that plays a big role in the change in the price of Bitcoin, I hope that there will be no more bad news about Bitcoin. It was kind of a joke because we are going sideways forever. It all depends on when the next bull run hits. When it hits I believe $50k to $100k is a good expectation. The roadster (because it's even more expensive) I simply could not drive that down the local chip shop or hemorrhoid clinic without feeling like the biggest dickhead who ever lived or will live. I'd rather spend less on building a full size Lego version. It would look the same and be cooler too. Even worse... go thrift shopping with this car .... |

Indeed, the implementation of SegWit was predicated on the most egregious change to the Bitcoin protocol ever enacted. The features you list did not / do not require a change to the Bitcoin protocol. SegWit did / does require a change to the Bitcoin protocol. So when you say "it doesn't matter whether something is mentioned in the whitepaper", you're neither right nor wrong. What matters is the protocol itself. SegWit was undeniably a change to that protocol. A rather significant one. Therefore, somewhat 'less Bitcoin-y' -- at least on this axis -- than other implementations which hew to the original. On the other hand, if some element is decidedly counter to the white paper (chain of digital signatures, anyone?), then that indeed does matter.
