Is anybody going to develop a site where you can buy XC with fiat and sell for fiat?

You can buy and sell XC here https://www.litebit.eu/coin/xc/nl/

I know, but the price is way more than when I buy Bitcoins with fiat money and then exchange them to XC or if I want to sell them, the other way around.

That's true. They charge you some. I would also buy btc with fiat and then get it to an exchange to buy other coins.
That is why I think there should be a site that doesn't sell you them overpriced.

Well they have to make a living I guess  Cheesy

Alas, you'll all just have to wait for XC's decentralised exchange. ;-)

I don't get the decentralized things, can somebody explain to me what that means?

Basically no single person controls it and/or no single server stores all of the data.
Can you name a coin that doesn't have that? So that is controlled by one single person?

Having fun with the latest windows, the transaction went smoothly, I sent first and then received the key. I needed to search for an original msdn iso image because didn't provide.

+1
Thanks.

I have a question:
1. How long does it take for coins to mature?
2. Somebody should make an exchange so that XC can be bought directly with fiat money instead of buying Bitcoins first, that would take away a lot of hassle.

Isn't Mintpal adding fiat?

I mean a site solely for fiat to XC and XC to fiat with compatibility with country based payment methods like iDeal and Mistercash for people out of Belgium etc., it should be too hard to make, only I lack the knowledge on how to do so.

What happened to BTC Dump to 309?? Bitstamp haked rumor on btc-e trollbox... I hope it goes down more I will buy 2000 Euro more in 10 days and then will buy XC gnam gnam

Now that was a ridiculous dump. My goodness.

9000 BTC if trollbox is correct

The volume on the 15min candle on Bitcoinwisdom for that dump is 7351 BTC.

Question is: on what information would a dump like that be rational?

He decided he made enough profit or he needed fiat money probably.

Some people did believe the FUD I think, a sold a shit ton last night and now the price has gone down again. :/
Anybody who dumps there XC because of some FUD will be seriously depressed soon, when XC starts moving there will be no turning back and today's prices will be a distant memory.
Lets hope so.

I still have 609+ XC so I am not selling them.

LOL i only have managed to accumulate 420, but i keep my wallet open 24/7 for staking and slowly they are trickling(really slowly) in Smiley

I am not staking as I have no idea how that all works.

Really easy, set a password for your wallet, then click on settings>unlock and your done !
Takes a while to get going (like 2weeks), but worth doing as it helps to secure the network too.
I use a laptop, keeping that on all the time isn't very good for it.

I also sometimes read stories of people in here that lose their XC in their wallet, I am not trying to FUD or something, but I am wondering how that can happen and what you should do when that happens?

These are the very people who do everything to convince you the sky is not blue.

It isn't?!?!

 Huh
Not if you live in Hong Kong.

I bet you 10 bucks once you get above all the pollution it still is blue.
Yeah it is, but for the people on the ground it isn't.

I deleted my message because I wasn't sure if it was Hong Kong that was that polluted or another city.

You can buy XC directly from www.litebit.eu if you didn't know that yet, although it is way more expensive then when you buy Bitcoins first and then exchange them for XC.
