they are regular 270 cards not 270x

running stock still gives some errors and shitty WU

most motherboards auto disable onboard when you have a graphics card

Tried, running stock still having this issue, hmm wonder whats causing this o.O
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [.05 BTC Bounty] CGMiner Hash Rate vs Pool Consistently 50% at Pool on: January 10, 2014, 02:24:25 AM
I have tried another pool,

look at the WU variance, the hash rate shouldn't be the same with WU of 50% more.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CGMiner Hash Rate vs Pool Consistently 50% at Pool on: January 10, 2014, 02:01:53 AM
hmm this is bizarre I've never had anything like this

Thanks for helping guys, I will tip for solution and help

71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CGMiner Hash Rate vs Pool Consistently 50% at Pool on: January 09, 2014, 11:58:06 PM
thats not variance, you got problems for sure, you should have 0 hardware errors and at least double wu. what gpu's?

r9 270

gigabyte models

why does cgminer show 1.8 mhash? thats what these cards should get
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CGMiner Hash Rate vs Pool Consistently 50% at Pool on: January 09, 2014, 10:30:36 PM

Has anyone seent this?

I know there is variance and estimated hash rates at the pool. But the discrepancy is huge. Is there something with my CGminer config? CPU and Ram are well below capacity. CGminer is stable.

Thanks for your help.

74  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Bitmain AntMiner U1 Tips & Tricks on: January 07, 2014, 04:08:19 AM
TLDR Sorry if this was mentioned

I was messing around with a hub trying to figure out available watts, and noticed how finnicky cgminer is with these damn things, I could never get more than 16 running. And adding them too fast would cause a crash. Had the same problem with modminer quads. I found it alot easier to open each device in its own. here is the bat file that i use to open the prompts. Each one also will have a named window. Find the usb settings by doing cgminer.exe -n where  --usb bus:device

start cmd /k C:\besr\cgminer.exe --usb 3:50 --bmsc-options 115200:20 -o stratum.btcguild.com:3333 -u reganreckman_a2 -p 123 --bmsc-freq 0781
start cmd /k C:\besr\cgminer.exe --usb 3:51 --bmsc-options 115200:20 -o stratum.btcguild.com:3333 -u reganreckman_a2 -p 123 --bmsc-freq 0781
start cmd /k C:\besr\cgminer.exe --usb 3:52 --bmsc-options 115200:20 -o stratum.btcguild.com:3333 -u reganreckman_a2 -p 123 --bmsc-freq 0781

....
That's the ugliest, but yet coolest, looking USB hub I've seen in ages.  Specs here: www.mondohub.com/hub_overview.php

only thing I'd caution, it looks like its powered with 4 AMPS at 5V, that is about 20 watts, or 9-10 of the AntMiner devices, any more and it won't be able to power them.

Hmm I'm not sure if thats correct they have alot of vauge / conflicting data on that page. I've only used it for non powered stuff in the past. I'll plug in 28 antminers and see if they work.

Power Adapter
Input: 100 - 240 V, 50/60 Hz; 1.6A, maximum = 160 - 384 watts
Output: 5 V / 4 A = 20 Watts
Up to 500 mA power, all ports = 2.5 watts/port = 70 watts

standard r9 270 gigabyte

I don't have pics of the new fans, but they are blowing right into the ends of the cards, probably 150 cfm each they are crazy loud

77  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Quad Cross-Fire Air Cooling in Case on: January 05, 2014, 05:51:08 AM
After trying everything else, ended up tossing two 80mm server fans at the base blowing into the cards and 4 120mm fans on the side pulling hot air.

Stable at 65 deg =) loud as shit though
78  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Quad Cross-Fire Air Cooling in Case on: January 05, 2014, 02:48:17 AM
Anyone had luck aircooling a quad cross-fire in a case?

Trying to put some cheap litecoin rigs together for ebay and figured quad R9 270 would be cheapest....but having a hell of a time cooling them four of them in a case

Thanks,

vouch iluvpcs seems above board, order is in the mail =)

About the hubs, I always liked mondohubs for my FPGA farms, I don't see a reason they wouldn't work here

50$ for 28 powered ports, I don't think you can beat the price

layout is pretty stupid but oh well
