941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what do you expect from cryptocurrency? on: February 17, 2023, 05:06:19 PM
Todays world's economy is not so good. High rate of inflation and many bad things are happen, also cryptocurrency market seems not so good either. But I think it is better to hold bitcoin rather than fiat as government seems that can't do something significant improvement on economic growth. Unlike my expectations for the world economy, I have good expectations to cryptocurrency especially bitcoin. Bitcoin has a good thing that called a "Halving" where it usually cause it price to rise, while other fiat don't have anything to expect except inflation. I would like to know about your expectations about cryptocurrency, please share your opinion.
I am one of those people who do not have much wealth, my hope from cryptocurrency is to multiply small capital into large capital, so that it can improve my household's economy. of course I have to be determined to set aside a small part of my remaining money to buy bitcoin, and I consider that as a replacement for my pocket money, so that even though there are high fluctuations in its movements, I remain calm, and later the money will double so I can open a business real estate or buying safer assets, as part of diversification
I agree, this is the same mindset that I have as well. I am not rich, and will never be "rich", like millions of dollars type of rich. However, if I can have 20k dollars, that would change so much in my life, and I mean like for good, not just for a while.

This is what I am aiming at right now, and that is not something I can't reach, it is totally reachable about as well so all I gotta do is keep working on it and eventually I could reach it, and it may take some time and maybe years, and need to multiply my investment a few times over, but when I reach it, it will definitely one of the best times of my life and it will definitely be great.
942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad feeling like a bomb is gonna go off on: February 17, 2023, 03:12:38 PM
I know Crypto had a heck of a run a week ago, and it is giving back which is normal. They have been getting beat real bad and its not stopping. I was on Coin Market Cap an hour ago, and looked at the stable coins. They are all except USDT well below a dollar. All were up 3 to 5% today and still wasnt up to a dollar. They were moving around like they were being fed to try and stay in their dollar spot. I got a bad feeling about today and/or tomorrow. Keep close eye out and react quickly. Hope I am wrong, but its strong enough feeling I just had to say something. Good luck!!    Brandon
Thanks for the concern and warning mate but let's just hope that this occurrence is only normal because this wasn't the first time either that a stable coin can drop and there are also times like they are increasing by some percent. It was like they are also volatile same with the standard crypto but not in a greater extent. after some time they will always return on their favorite spot which is at one dollar.

There are people who already quit on using USDT because this coin has been involved in some controversy, I think even up until now so not many are worried or surprised if there are negative happenings around this coin. I think others should do the same, only to have a peace of mind.
943  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin hold, sell or trade?? on: February 16, 2023, 09:04:19 PM
My opinion, Bitcoin all time saving mode is the best way. Some time when bitcoin price up then sell and when price down then buy is the best decision.  This method all time not working for trade. Many time i noticed when i sell bitcoin or altcoin sell since then price grow up and up. And when I buy bitcoin or altcoin then price low day by day. specialy, altcoin hold, sell and trade big loss.
This is a common "feature" of the market, dont think of it as a problem. Say you have a certain number of bitcoins to sell, when the price crosses your selling point, sell a fraction of that if you anticipate more highs. Then once it slows near another high, sell some more.

Similarly when the price is going down and you have fiat at hand, spend a fraction and wait for the next low. At point point you will run of fiat to spend when you need to stop and wait.
I think that is trailing stop or something, I forgot what it was called. I agree that it would be smart to get out portions when it goes up, that way you could definitely get out with some of your money in tact, but also stay in with some of it still going up. You should be both careful but also willing to take some risks to do this, and not many people realize that.

I know it sounds like something that people are not really that much capable of, just by looking at the market and the complaints and outcries of people whenever it drops a bit. There are too many people who stupidly still buy when it goes up, and cries when it goes down from that top.
944  Economy / Economics / Re: How to thrive with low income in a humble area on: February 16, 2023, 07:12:39 PM
A greedy person will not be happy and he will die before he can enjoy the money or wealth he has, every day he will always think about adding money and not caring about other people, nowadays many people are difficult and doing social activities such as helping others is noble things that will make the heart happy and of course eliminate greed.
Please be able to understand the difference between self-improvement and greed, because it is very clearly different. In today's modern economic era, we are required to always be able to develop ourselves and that is not something wrong. Getting a bigger income from the results of self-development is a fair result.
He didn't mention self-improvement there, only pure greed but you are right that both has differences. If we are almost helpless then we need to prioritize ourselves first before the others. There is the time that we can also seek a help from others but once we get up and are now successful in life, we also ensure that we will return the favor to them. Humble area, can be a small area and the cost of living there is not expensive so it's much easier to thrive here.

It only becomes hard if the person is not humble enough because he will pretend to be rich to look superior to others and the cost of it is that he will spend more but he will also struggle secretly.
945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin start rising up what coin is good for investing right now for short term on: February 16, 2023, 05:34:53 PM
I see that btc almost hit 25k$ this morning and i believe that if btc rise 25k$ most of the altcoins will also rise or follow btc trend, so i think this time will be the very best time to decide what altcoins can give us profit in short term investment if you have any suggestions please extend or let me know.
None of us can bring a concrete answer mate because what you wanted  ask here is a easy money things that cannot be predicted because if does? we are all millionaire now .
and besides you asked when bitcoin seems to be reaching 25k and the highest if can grow before another bear comes.
but Maybe Matic is one of the most possible altcoin to grow because there are 9% increase as of today and may have more.
What I know is that the alts that can give us easy money are those new altcoins, preferably the risky one or also known as the pump and dump coins but I think there is no need for that since BTC is already rising and almost any alts can still follow its path so why go for the risky one when you can just choose the safe one and still gain a profit right? A good example of it will be Ethereum and BNB. Why I choose this?

Well, because they are the biggest among the rest and then I also see them being recommended by other users here in the forum. The one that you call there, Matic is also a good addition to these two. Only the top coins are the ones that we can predict closely and some of us here already made millions from investing on them.
946  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin market speculation for the month on: February 16, 2023, 04:48:49 PM
Man, being that it's the middle of the month, I don't dare to predict much for the remaining 12 days. I do believe that we were at levels that were too cheap and this should lead us to go up little by little, especially considering that there is still a year and a bit to go before the next halving. Passing the 25,000 level is quite likely, if not in these 12 days, then a little later.
25,000 is likely to be achieved within the next few hours from now, the price of bitcoin has already touched 24,900 in the early hours of today.

So I don't think there is a big gap between the present price of 24,700 and 25,000 Bitcoin will break even easily and in no time.

We are in for a more exciting time this first quarter of the year and we should be prepared for some price increase, so the best thing to do is to continue to hold.
I haven't noticed that we hit $24k today and it climb till $24.9k? Impressive but why it didn't continue till $25k when the gap isn't that huge? I think I already saw a similar scenario. It happened twice now, that is from last month and from last year (if my memory serves me correct). Maybe it's not the perfect time yet for us to hit it because hitting it could lead to more possibilities or more price growth.

We are only at the first quarter of this year but things are getting exciting already. How much more if we proceed on the later levels? But with this increase that we experienced lately, I think some already sold a few of their holdings and they can always re-buy again after the price corrects.
947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what do you expect from cryptocurrency? on: February 15, 2023, 09:06:34 PM
If 2024 and 2025 aren't going to be bullish momentums for crypto, it's going to be a very unsual situation faced by crypto industry, because the periods of time following bitcoin's halvings have always been very positive for the industry as a whole, despite global crisis, such as the Covid-19 pandemic, which didn't prevent bitcoin from hiting its 69,000$ ATH in 2021. Although I'm not hopeful about an extreme high new ATH, I still believe bitcoin can surpass its previous mark in the following 2 years, following the logic history shows us so far.
We can only wait what will happen in the next 2 years, whether the new ATH is reached or not.
But right now the important thing to do is how much we buy and hold bitcoin to prepare for the next bull.
If you just sit back and don't buy anything, of course there will be nothing to prove.
Make good use of the momentum, buy more, hold and enjoy the benefits.
I am getting more and more ready each day whenever I buy more bitcoins, and I trade a bit as well but my goal is not to have more fiat when trading, my goal is to have more bitcoins, even if it means I could have less in fiat because bitcoin sometimes goes down.

This type of investment allows me to have as much bitcoins as possible and be ready for the next bull run, it could be this year, it could be next, it could be 5 years down the line, doesn't matter when it will happen as long as I get to do it. And this is why I care about it so much, since it is such an important thing to focus on and how you could end up making a profit from it as well.
948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Know your limit on: February 15, 2023, 08:15:50 PM
A lot of persons, falls victims of fraud every time, all in the name of  Bitcoin investment. Probably got intimidated by some friends or somewhat websites that says 'pay this to get more'. You should at least be mind full of sites where you want to invest on, ask questions, make research's and try knowing more about the sites you are investing on.do not fall for all these get rich schemes. On the other hand, when you have finally found a legit site to invest, don't go to far, as much as taking loans from people just in the name of investment, I was a victim too and it wasn't good at all. I was down for a very long time, before I got back up on my feet. Yeah sure this was greed in the way that I totally forgot that I had other responsibilities to take care of and decided to put all my money into investment that never brought a return.
Unfortunately, there are people who lack experience or act in bad faith and end up being scammed, and with Bitcoin, it's even easier because a high degree of privacy is maintained. It's important to always do your research before investing in anything.
The weird part is that there are so many people who gets scammed while trying to scam, that's the weirdest part. Like for example if you click on something that says "free 1 bitcoin!!" and you get hacked, are you really an innocent person? Could you say that you weren't really doing something a bit fishy yourself? Who gives who free 20 thousand dollars?

It was obvious that you were trying to scam "someone" for it, even if the ad said so, it's obvious that this money would come out of someone and you were going to get it that easily? There are tons of people and situations that happened with similar mindset to this and I think I would say that it is not that easy.
949  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Currency trading without knowledge on: February 15, 2023, 11:24:46 AM
the only way you could trade and make profit all the while doesn't have even a drop of knowledge would be when you are relying heavily in signal trading.
you don't need to make a research and someone would do it for you, that's trading signal but of course that always come with implication, the signal providers might have malicious intention towards you and some ulterior motives.
the trading signal might give you profits initially but they could be just using you for their own interest, there's reason many trading signal usually don't hold on for long.
I'd say if you want to trade then you better off seeking the knowledge first because you might be risking your precious investments and surely having no knowledge would be huge disadvantage.
I think that's risky because what if someone can just fool you and promise you that their signals are the best among the rest? You will only lose money on subscriptions and then lose another for choosing a wrong coin to trade or when you follow their fake signals. They are the ones who will earn this way.

This is why it's important to have some knowledge first so that we can avoid these scammers and then we can be fully independent when it comes to trading. If we get lucky, we may earn following other legit signals and professional traders but there are times that we feel something is lacking with us. That is because we can't stand on our own.
950  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin inflation wilder than fiat? on: February 15, 2023, 10:43:26 AM
For one, bitcoin isn't inflationary. The coin's value is deflationary by means of supply cut every now and then. Get your facts straight. Another, one, bitcoin is volatile, USD isn't. So that alone should give you an idea that Bitcoin's valuation doesn't give a damn about whatever USD's valuation is. Most countries as well wouldn't choose bitcoin to be their national currency even if it's the last thing they'd have to do to get to heaven. It's volatility rate's not worth the huge potential for profit it could bring, plus bitcoin's supply's limited, no way it can cater to a large population let alone multiple country's worth if used as.a bona fide transaction currency. One last thing, bitcoin's market is different from fiat's. Therefore no direct impact against the other is expected.
Same thing I was going to comment. I believe that most countries are not struggling in terms of their economy or finances so it's true that they will stick on their local currency but I already saw some extremely poor and struggling countries who made BTC and other currency as their main currency because their own is totally useless anymore.

Volatility of Bitcoin is not a bad thing. I know it's risky but that is if you don't know how to deal with it but if you will only use it as your advantage like buying when the price dips and selling when the price pumps, you will say that the risk was worth it. BTC had some difference with fiats but there are times where each of them can affect the other.
951  Economy / Economics / Re: Anyone here into passive investing (of their time)? on: February 14, 2023, 05:36:45 PM
I am not talented in the world of blogs and YouTube, even trading in the stock market. I prefer to make my passive income by selling food that is loved by children.
the food that I make I leave it in the school cafeteria, for the last 2 years I have been doing it, I have gotten a better income than I have made articles
Selling is a kind of active activity (not passive) but passive is the one that makes money to you even at your sleep. A good example would be is investing. Trading isn't a kind of passive activity but youtubing can be but indeed that both of them can be hard as it requires a good amount of skill while selling can be done by any people as long as they have a capital to start one. One of the hardships of selling is to find a place to sell your goods but it's great that you already have a good spot.

You are only paying some commissions there aren't you? You think you can make a better money from this than making articles, that is because your site might not be that popular enough and then maybe the articles that you make isn't also in good quality.
952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 22/23 - discussion thread on: February 14, 2023, 07:45:22 AM
Maybe all of those games were against weak teams but these wins are very important for Ajax anyway. Because they needed to boost their morale somehow.

They scored 12 goals and conceded 2 in their last 3 games in the league. These are amazing statistics for Ajax indeed. It's like the version of them we are familiar with is back again now. This is really important for them as well right before the beginning of the Europa League. Maybe their priority is the Eredivisie but I think they would do their best in the Europa League as well.
Relatively in round 21 we have mostly matches of top teams against weaker sides which give them good confidence but now in round 22 we have few exciting matches as Feyenoord is going to host AZ Alkmaar and then PSV is going to visit Utrecht which is playing good soccer at home and PSV is struggling in away matches Ajax is going to host Sparta Rotterdam which is also improving their performance and now having not lost in last five games even Ajax can ruin them at home but still better games which will surely bring some changes at the top, and we will have interesting phase of this season with UEFA competitions are also going to start from today and all top Dutch teams are also involved in them.
953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 13, 2023, 09:53:00 PM
Salah is certainly a respectable player, but I don't think Real Madrid would want to sign him. I am 100% sure that they will want to sign young players with high potential such as Osimhen, Leao and Kudus (Kudus is my favourite). Salah will most likely be transferred to one of the underdog teams after playing for Liverpool for a few more years. I don't think he needs a new challenge. He is a football player who has completed his career to a large extent.
Mohammad Salah is surely now turning into 31 after end of this season and Real Madrid is having targeted him for the replacement of Karim Benzema with most chances they will try to have their few youngsters as main for the next season and want to give them support from experience of Mohammad Salah because still he can do good for the next 2 or 3 seasons which is also not bad for them even right now these all are just rumours with most chances they will try with any other youngster who can give them his best for long time with too many players are already available in market specially as we all know Leao and Kudus with Osimhen is also but still things are not clear and how will this all happen we have to wait for this all until end of this season.
954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to deal with shitcoiners without being harsh about reality. on: February 11, 2023, 05:14:50 PM
Dealing with such people requires a thorough patience. If you are up to that challenge, sometimes it is helpful if you adjust your thought to how their mode of thinking, by doing that, one might address how could they end up with some conclusion. If by any chance their thoughts have many logical inconsistencies and wrong comprehension of something, you can correct or inform them.

But, of course, it is not as simple as that. What I usually do is, beforehand, we should ask about their preference of how to learn and comprehend a piece of information, for example, by asking a question like, what proof or evidence makes someone able to comprehend things. Sometimes it works, sometimes it's not. The point is, if it is worth to achieve, constantly readjusting how they behave might help.
Dealing with them is only a waste of time. Why can't we just focus on our own and then let's only spread the word about Bitcoin and other legit projects? This is the only way that we can help about those newbies so that they won't go in the wrong path. If you deal with shitcoiner, they will only like it and they will try to piss your more but if we ignore them, that's the time they can feel annoyance because they think that their efforts of giving a distraction is going into a waste.

There is no need to ask about their preference because it's already clear that their preference is different from us. They choose to be bad than to be good but good luck if you attempt to change them.
955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: February 11, 2023, 06:06:33 AM
I don't think PSG's loss against Marseille in the Coupe de France was unexpected. I indicated it before the match started as well. Marseille really had an opportunity ahead to eliminate the toughest rival in the tournament and they took it. I really appreciated Marseille's solid effort in that match and I believe it was a well-deserved win. Neymar - Messi duo couldn't play exactly in the way they wanted. If this duo were more productive then maybe the result would have been different.

Now we see there is a Monaco v PSG match in the league this time. The winning odds are nearly the same - 2.68 to 2.64. I even see Monaco being favourite by a slight margin on some websites. The odds made me a little surprised though so I'll go on with both teams to score instead.
Yes, it's quite strange to see such odds of PSG against the 4th team of France. Even with injuries to Mbappe and Messi, PSG should be the clear favorite. It may be assumed that PSG will put up a reserve squad for this game in general, as it will save energy before the game with Bayern. It is quite logical since nothing threatens the position of PSG in the championship.
I don't think this is strange because right now Monaco is doing good job even they are at fourth but still a good team which having fair chance into this match for winning in absence of Mbappé and Messi with we can expect few reserve players as well which will also give advantage to Monaco because currently PSG is leading by eight points and if they lost this match still they are having healthy lead so just because of this now their main target is Bayern Munich which is also just four days away, and they don't want to risk their players having any further injury or any issue before this big game which is their target for many years, and now they have good chance against German giants for going into next round.
956  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC rise described as false bull on: February 10, 2023, 06:04:50 PM
This bull run has lasted 3 weeks, and it can be said that it is not a trap, but there is nothing wrong if someone is still doubting everything. Don't forget that bear season is not over yet, so extreme caution should be exercised as bitcoin can correct at any time. To me, this rally is just a short-term rally. The past bullish days have had no notable buy signals in the market to say that the demand for bitcoin is increasing. Bitcoin is very volatile and it can neither fall forever nor rise forever, it is always volatile.
Yes, I don't put it aside that we are still in the bear season but at least we have seen these few pumps that could bring courage for the holder not to give up from waiting. I know how volatile is Bitcoin but I don't think also that we drop again below $20k this year. We have done with the FTX issue that badly affects the market reputation and we are now in the recovery. Might the current pump not be going bullish straight but I know people are happy about the market improvements.
I thought we are already in a bull run? He just said it above. Is he confused or what? But if I were to give my own impression, I will say that we are not yet in a bull run. Mini/tiny bull run maybe, but I prefer to call it as a recovery. We know once the real bull run has arrived when each coins are pumping like crazy and breaking their past ATH's.

Old hodlers knows what they are doing but the one who are truly encouraged about the recovery that we see last time are the newbies. Some says that $20k or less is still possible. Well, anything can bound to happen here. This is the beauty of being volatile, don't expect that hard dumps can only happen if there is serious negative news.
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You trust Tether (USDT) Stablecoin? on: February 10, 2023, 04:44:21 PM
Yeah, i've seen all the fud as i've been around so long and it's mostly from people who don't like the centralized nature of the whole thing. However if we want adoption we need to deal with pretty high level of centralization involved and some people don't like it. The fact that usdt is 100% backed, but not all of them are backed with usd is somewhat troublesome, but even in case of a bank run everyone would eventually get their dollars. And that's not the case even with real BANKS so i am thinking people are overreacting.

Many of the fudders seem to came from a time when bitfinex got hacked and didn't like the way Ifinex dealed wih that. And since iFinex Inc owns Tether i think they just wanted to hurt them.
Maybe those FUDs mostly came from the Bitcoin supporters. They are only making a revenge because Bitcoin was also being bashed by those who are into centralizations. Adoption can still be attained even though without the help of these stable coins. Remember there are no stable coins before but bitcoin still manage to grow big.

It's just there are people who can't accept the fact that they can't control Bitcoin so they produce something which they can be able to control. They claim that Tether is backed but I think it wasn't 100%. This is why some are sceptical about it and this is why I never use it. I am already happy and contented with what Bitcoin has to offer.
958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 09, 2023, 08:48:53 PM
A nice tribute to Lebron James last night. So special, in fact, that the game was stopped after its official record to receive a video message from President Biden. He only had words of praise for this player. Could we also compare him to players like Michael Jordan and maybe even put him up there? He has been playing in this league for a really long time and has broken a record that may not be broken for another 20 years. I hope he can participate in the NBA for a long time, but in the long run the years will also count.
There is no doubt about this memorable achievement by LeBron as he breaks this record after 33 years and now have his name at the top of the list with this all surely he deserved praise from all around the world and lovers of the Basketball and President Biden is also good right thing for this great person who is now going to rule this game for decades because things like these are never been easy now with this all he can achieve more records as well because currently he is 38 years old and Karim-Abdul-Jabbar retired at the age of 42, so we have few more years with better record and achievements for this amazing player on earth and now history maker in NBA.
959  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why I will never trust top exchanges on: February 09, 2023, 01:54:10 PM
Binance Acknowledges Storing User Funds With Collateral in Error - Source is Bloomberg and there is a lot more written about this accident than in the OP source. I'm posting it for people who want to know more.

You should never trust any exchange but it's fact that Binance is doing well and we don't have better available choices in terms of wide range of coins, easy accessibility, user-friendly UI and quality service.
But we don't have to bury in oblivion that Binance is not a company of its words. They always lie where they can, then mask this lie by pretending it to be an error that they'll fix soon and then they continue their operation. Then Changpeng Zhao tweets something Cool and his fans are getting wet.

To be honest, I don't really know if anyone trusts exchanges or similar service providers. I think we all know that we don't have to trust them but we just risk because sometimes it might worth and avoids us a lot of headache.
If we won't trust any exchange including those who are at the top then how can we trade our coins? I think we shouldn't be afraid to take risk but we should not only store our cryptos inside them just to be safe from hacks and other restrictions. There are other crypto exchanges who are also good next to binance.

Kuckoin and houbi for example and I think both of them never got involved yet on a serious anomaly like binance is facing right now. We can always transfer them if we have in doubts with binance. Binance has a lot of money and they can always pay the media to make them look good but deep inside is they are planning something else.
960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: February 09, 2023, 08:59:35 AM
I agree that it will take time for Ronaldo to get used to this level of playing and his teammates, but we also need to realize that he is not what he used to be, meaning if it takes too much time for him to get used to it, he might be not good enough to matter eventually.

I still think that he will score a lot next season, by that time they will get player that will compliment his style, and I think he will be used to it by then, and it will be much better for him. This year they may end up winning the title, and then next year they will use Ronaldo a lot better and it will be a good situation to be in for him. Let's hope he doesn't get even worse before that.
Now we have to check few things for his better future like can Al Nassr able to bring more quality players for the better results or Ronaldo has to decrease his level for having better results because he played quality soccer in his all career in European best clubs and now here he is having nothing like these clubs with mostly local players are need more time for this all adjustment with Ronaldo is also need to adopt few things which helps him, and he is able to support them and having better coordination for the better results.

As we are having rumours more big players now thinking to join this league then surely we will have some quick development and increase of performance from the Ronaldo as well but right now after just few matches expecting Ronaldo will play like he used to be in Real Madrid and Juventus is completely childish thinking from the fans and other peoples as well.
