281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Investors: This is the best IEO on: May 04, 2019, 10:50:35 AM
Most investors will choose on their own, and i also think that on IEOs can be made a good profit and will not happen like on ICOs, and i think people should only invest on IEOs on trusted exchanges.
If you do the comparison between ICO and IEO, IEO has masked or overcome many of the flaws or lacking pints which would give rise to loss and risk for investors. This is the reason investors prefer IEO over ICO though both are crowd funding mechanism and ICO had had a great period back in 2018. But regardless of its prestigious history, its time is up now and IEO are on the top of all as a CFM.

Post a Picture of what you think Satoshi the Creator of bitcoin looks like
It can be anything or anyone, memes allowed.

That is really something interesting. There are a lot of peoples who thinks differently about the investor/developer of bitcoins but what I think is he might be a extra-ordinary common man with a ample of knowledge and the will to make his dreams come true. Here we are and his dreams have mow turned the dreams of millions of peoples.

He is also been considered as "god" at least in the field of cryptocurrecy. Peoples like him should emerge more so that the future of the world can see something exciting coming towards them. I can only guess than the name of the one who invested/programmed bitcoins might be starting with "B" as he named Bitcoins and the logo for bitcoins.
283  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Price of alts when BTC pumps on: May 04, 2019, 09:49:51 AM
Most commonly bitcoin price bumps all along with the altcoins in the marketplace. While you invest on the bitcoin you may choose potential altocoins have great marketplace volume. Because always we could not depend on one coin alone.

For that you may make such kind of decision buddy. Then few altcoins are always fluctuate in the market those are best for trading purposes.

Not all altcoins follow Bitcoin when it grows. Some of them do not show any movement. However, the gainers add much more (in percents) than BTC, and their holders can earn a lot during this time.

Even many altcoins die because users immediately exchange to bitcoin when btc pumps, everyone thinks that top ranked coins especially bitcoin are profitable and safer for the long term.
I think besides Bitcoin, there are so many other coins as well which have good projects backing them and could be profitable in the long run. I am hodling ETH right now and had some other coins as well. They are really profitable and should not be compared with Bitcoin since Bitcoin is leading the crypto market in every aspect. The use of Ethereum Blockchain is great and wide spread which means ETH is good too.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Confidence in Cryptocurrency on: May 04, 2019, 08:38:10 AM
Massive adoption of merchants and companies plus maximizing the benefit and usage of blockchain technology will boost confidence level if any investors with the current state we are still in a building process and confidence level will grow over time if people saw progress and benefits of blockchain and cryptocurrency.
Google it and you would come across so many companies around the world that are accepting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. This is the next form of money and the market has already a worth of more than 3 trillion dollar. Even Microsoft could not help accepting the great potential this digital economy holds. This is the future of the financial market.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to recognize a good time to sell a coin? on: May 04, 2019, 07:59:26 AM
Hi all!
I and many of us here earned a lot coins form bounty campaigns. And I have real dilemma: How to recognize a good time to sell a coin? How to avoid loosing everything by holding coins that will die, but also how to choose coins that are good to hold because they can give us 10x,100x.
Thank you for your comments Wink.
You must not hold every coin. To me, holding a lot of coins is useless cause you can’t be able to follow up with all of them. It would be best for you to sell them and maybe use the money to buy Bitcoin, cause it is a better option than these altcoins. Coins are meant to be sold when you have made profit (don’t wait till you have made too much profit), and sometimes, if you’re losing, it is best to sell the coin cause holding is sometimes not worth it.
286  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC Technical Analysis - by CryptoReggae on: May 04, 2019, 07:28:03 AM
💊 BTC Update

Correction coming?

Bitcoin after having invalidated a short-term support (now become resistance) moves sideways, reversing the short-term trend.

Is a new correction coming?
The support of the SMA 100, which supports BTC from further short-term losses, is gradually tightening the price on important resistances.

$ 3835, SMA 50, an important area between $ 3922 and $ 3964, and still $ 4100 are hardly surmountable resistances without a notable bull thrust, this could lead to "pushing" BTC to a further correction at least up to $ 3600 area, then from there we will go to analyze further supports and resistors.

Further correction towards the downside can be expected in the next few hours.

These analysis are wrong at times. The one I read before was saying different from what is being said here. Buh whatever, I already knew that there is not going to be anything better this first quarter of the year. I really hope that things change by the end of the year. 🙄 Tired of the price dropping at all times, I rely mostly on the long term strategy and that’s not working out if price continues like this.
287  Economy / Marketplace / Re: $1000 to spare each month, how would you invest it? on: May 04, 2019, 06:56:41 AM
Hey,

Looking to get some ideas from people so let me begin by explaining my situation:

- I initially invested around $3000 just over a year ago in crypto, which is now currently worth about $1000 (2/3rd loss). I've written this off/left it and am a firm believer the market will one day recover, be it short or long term.
- I then stopped investing early this year.
- I now have opportunity to save/invest $1000 each month (after all my bills and everything are paid for).
- I have $5000 saved in cash as emergency in case I need it.

How would you invest the $1000? Or would you just save it all, or only invest a bit of it each month based on market behaviour? What coins are good to look into investing slowly, with the belief they'll give the best returns if the market properly goes into a bull run?
That depends, but I will prefer to invest that $1000 twice in Bitcoin and then the rest that I have to spare every month can go to other altcoins such Ethereum, Cardano, Tron, EOS and Stellar. These are the coins that are really promising this time around, I don’t know for others. Instead of you to waste those money in shit coins, it’s better to take the risk with the top coins.
288  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin goes down, no new rich people anymore on: May 04, 2019, 06:27:48 AM
as long as I observe at this time, bitcoin has entered a resistant area, and if this area breaks down, there will be many new rich people once again. therefore we wait for the results after this, hopefully the resistance area will break and cause an uptrend
As it has always been,  there's going to be a bull run anytime from now. We just don't know when it's going to be,  but whenever these whales starts to buy ,the price of bitcoin and altcoins will as well start to increase. Only these smaller altcoins are going to suffer, cause lots of people are going to dump their altcoins to buy bitcoin and other top coins like litecoin, eth, ripple and the rest of them (the top ten) and that will make smaller altcoins to drop in price and suffers it most. Some of them will even seize to exist.
289  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with small budget on: May 04, 2019, 06:05:54 AM
In beginning people could find it difficult to trade with the small budget but as some profits are made or you get some Fiat or btc and invest in trading this would help you to have some sufficient amount to start and trade within your limits .

Yes, a trader will be afraid at the beginning of his crypto trading so he might go with the small investment but once he gains the confidence then he will start investing huge amounts into his portfolio. Until he gets confidence in trading should with a small budget only.
See I have seen so many people who make no money in the start. They just do not know how the thing works in the first place. It is with the passage of time that they understand how to go about crypto trading and make money in crypto market. So this is not something that should discourage someone who is not making money in the start. Learning more and more about trading and gaining some practical experience is good.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Price Of Qtum will likely to increase? on: May 04, 2019, 05:16:33 AM
Let's stop assuming that whenever a coin partners with, the price would skyrocket so fast.
Well maybe OP is trying to talk based on what have been happening in the Crypto space, there are lot of coins that created partnership this year with top companies and we saw a rise in their price when it happened, so if they actually partnered with Google, then we would definitely see a moon in price, as traders it is good to take advantage of events and make profit for yourself within a short period of time, instead of asking if there would be a moon or not.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we should belive Crypto? on: May 03, 2019, 12:52:13 PM
It is the choice of every person whether to believe in crypto or not - personally, I think blockchain technology will be implemented in many areas of everyday life and will make your lives better.
For the time being, it might be a choice for everyone whether or not to believe in Blockchain or crypto but in the years to come, it will be no more an option but an obligation to believe in crypto. See this is the future of money. Microsoft has accepted Bitcoin as a medium of payment and many other big companies, in future, will be looking forward to go with the flow as well.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does crypto keep screwing me over?? on: May 03, 2019, 12:11:55 PM
Don't get frustrated at the volatile crypto market mate, you are probably not doing certain things right in your investment strategies. Save yourself all those calculations and analysis by joining a trading signal group where signals of coins are given for its members to buy and hold for profit. You got to pay to be in such groups though and i have not heard about all those cryptocurrencies you mentioned above.
That's what I do now when I want to invest in altcoin. Indeed there is no harm in paying to join the group. I see there are very many groups about altcoin signals. Investment is very risky, if you are not ready, you will lose your money.

But you don't have to join in the paid telegram signals because in the free telegram signals you can get the same signals, but it depends on the groups you joined.

I think we don't have to join any groups because I am sure that we can analyze by ourselves so we can find the right time to trade. Besides that, with analyzing by ourselves, I am sure that we can improve our skills so we can trade with better.
I think that it is not always risky if you invest in top altcoin and Bitcoin as well. Bitcoin and to altcoin in the market have been able to gain weight over time. Even if you think the market id down and the prospect of making profit is very low, make use of the down prices and speculate. It pays off in the end. So if you do not take risk, it is not very easy to make money in the crypto. In many cases, it is only the risky guys who make it to the top.
293  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Invest any time? on: May 03, 2019, 11:37:26 AM
Any time they can invest in crypto i advice before investing learn it well how to avoid loses especially in trading and before brought coins need to learn it well and buy it in the right timing, do not focus at one coins because they have plenty of coins have potential to pump.
The crypto exchange is open 24 hours, so to buy it can be done at any time, but the choice of coins must be sure to provide benefits so that the invested capital provides good profits. The main requirement is that the price of coins purchased has the potential to rise in the short term, so that the investment provides prospects as soon as possible.
No need to select  coins, just take the 5 big coins to spread the risk so patience waiting for the price to rise will give a clear advantage, in my opinion the longest one month price is predicted to rise.
We should know that investing in cryptocurrency shouldn’t be treated as a get-rich-quick scheme. Investment carries a certain level of risks and we should be aware of this reality. I believe that there is no best time to invest, because market is volatile and unpredictable, not even experts who claimed they can. If you've done your research, if you're ready to take and manage risks, if you know crypto can change you, and if you believe in it, then I believe it's time for you to invest. It takes preparation and commitment in order to succeed in the field of crypto investment. Stay positive and be patient.
Exactly. This is not a all time invest thing unless you are a long term holder. A long term trader is able to compensate losses in the business as the market value appreciates with the passage of time. It also varies from coin to coin. One could invest in Bitcoin anytime if there is a space for speculation but not just other coins. In addition, there needs to be vetted assessment of the project one intends to invest some money in.
If we look at the statement in the long term perspective, I think it is right. In the long term, the value of Bitcoin would be way too high and it would have spread around the world with huge businesses evolved around it. So keeping that value in mind, you could invest now anytime and enjoy the benefits later on in future. But that would be long from now and wise people focus on both long and short.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Find the next 100x on: May 03, 2019, 10:38:15 AM
I'm in crypto to get rich. There are coins which pop 100x and even 1000x in small periods of time. Its possible to become a millionaire very quickly in this space.

My two biggest scores (in $ terms) we're with Nano (Raiblocks) and NEO (Antshares). I've also had some massive multiples but not earnt as much on a few low caps.

I want to find the next NEO / NANO. What are they?
The truth is that most of this coins experience a rise in price unexpectedly,  though I can't say it was fully unexpected because most of them happens based on events going on in the platform, but for that of neo, I benefited a lot from it and I know that I am still going to benefit even much more from it when we begin to see a bull run in price just few months from now, maybe the fourth quarter of the year.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: good time to invest in CELER (CelerNetwork) ? on: May 03, 2019, 10:15:26 AM
hi guys
CELER (Celer Network) ICO price was 169 satoshi in binance and it raised to 3000 satoshi after ICO
now price is 175 - 185 satoshi do u think its a good price to invest
https://www.binance.com/en/trade/CELR_BTC
i think if there is competition between binance and CELER team price can raise
or even whales can make price raise to 300 - 500 sat
It was normal that the price of celar grew to 3000 satoshi after it was launched on the exchange,  this happens to virtually all the coin I know that carries out ICO, this is why the best thing for one to do in order to be on the safer side in the ICO market, is to what for when the coin is to be launched into the market and then once it is launched you make purchase immediately and dump after some few minutes, that way you will make a lot of profits in short period of time.
296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - Eating your Brain and Money on: May 03, 2019, 09:51:12 AM
Self-control is hard in gambling despite of the strategies that you have, this is a biggest challenge for every gambler. Its sad to hear that most of the  gamblers are still playing with a lot of greed most of the time when there's a losing streak.

True, the most difficult part in gambling is self restrain especially when we are winning during the early rounds of play.  We think that we can win again since we have experienced it but gambling is gambling, it is a game of chance.

That's what usually happens in the gambling, we experience a win at the early rounds so that it gives us confidence that we can get profit again. if you really are looking for profit then save you profit, by quiting for playing that day and gambling again tomorrow
Beginner's luck as they say. It's some sort of a trap for you to engage more in gambling, before you knew it, you are already hooked into it and most of the time broke to realized that you need to get out. Self-control/discipline should be your greatest friend if you are a gambler.
The problem with majority of the people around is that they consider gambling purely a mean of making money and this is one of the main reasons why they end up loosing all their money. Someone with good financial condition does not fall or fall rarely a victim of gambling because he plays for joy. In such a case, you do not eat up your brain and rather a bar of chocolate and go happy if you win; go good if you do not.
297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling turn an atheist to theist and superstitious? on: May 03, 2019, 08:24:09 AM
I don't think that being an aitheist or a believer connected in gambling. Yes, sometimes I tend to pray to God for me to win my gambles. But even so, I still don't win some games. You wanna know why? Because it is not connected to your religion.

Those who are more attached to the religion will surely pray from the God that they win in gambling. If you have no attachment to religion then ofcourse you will not think in this way. In few religions Gambling is prohibited, so those people should avoid gambling in the first place.
I think that you could connect gambling with your believes in a way if you want. See there is something called luck. In statistics, we call it randomness and from a religion point of view, it is called the assistance of God. See if you do not believe in luck or randomness, the only option left to you is the one which links your gambling activities with the religion. In addition, you could read books over the topic to explore the right answers.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on an insect fight? on: May 03, 2019, 07:36:55 AM
Sure, why not? If it's a one-off thing, I might be inclined to make a bet on it, could be fun.
Only with insects though, not about to start betting on cock-fighting or anything like that Tongue
It is kind of hilarious to think betting on insect fight in real life because of its very small size. In addition, these insects happen to look alike so it would be tough to know about which insect (player) are you betting on. But you could transform the idea into an e-game to gamble on. The game could include different sized ants with different sized tentacles and different categories of betting. It could be fun I think.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Spirit of Bounty Hunting on: May 03, 2019, 07:03:59 AM
in giving the spirit to continue to participate in the bounty campaign I spend every day working on at least 1 bounty project after getting used to it, the number will continue to increase every day.

If you do something that is normal in your opinion it will be very easy and become a motivation to wait for an advantage of what you do later. Time to keep focusing on getting what you want.
Yes that is the point. When you look into something and you hear a powerful positive sound within you to support it, keep doing it. Though you would get bumpy roads on success tour but that motivation becomes your power. People often lose very easy because they let their sound dead and they don’t be determined to their fate. However, successful people have exclusive adherence to such motivational energies.
300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been able to resist? on: May 03, 2019, 06:40:12 AM
Yeah, there are a lot of games and most of them usually focus on luck though there are luck-based and skill based and also some that requires knowledge and analytic skills.
Every game will have some luck factor in it. There is no such game of gambling where there is no luck involved. True that sports and poker are EV+ where you can get an advantage over others by doing your own analysis but still your luck needs to be there in general or you will lose at one bet which you were sure to win.It might seem illogical at some point of time but its true.

Quote
I can't resist gambling though, you know, betting on some teams is fun and you watch them everyday supportting amd rooting for them.
You dont always needs to bet in order to show your support in them. Maybe a fun betting among friends for the latest game but thats not addicted gambling. Cheesy
Gambling or any other gambling related game, involves luck as primary factor. No one ever had put the money in gambling by believing in something else. They always ensure themselves that if luck helps, we would be earning double or triple of this investing amount. However, they all should know, it can’t be possible. Luck doesn’t be with you every day. You may be lucky someday and earn but not every day.
