Hey Guys, For most of you which don't know us we are AMT (Advanced Mining Technologies). We're a bitcoin miner manufacturer located outside of Philadelphia, PA. We originally started manufacturing and assembling in Philadelphia with a few SMT houses around the area (see image section 1). In short, one of them botched the job completely, causing us to loose over a quarter of a million in pre-sold funds when they produced faulty equipment. But like any manufacturing run, you purchase everything needed to build a miner while your SMT is building your board. We did buy a surplus of equipment for assembly, testing, experimental purposes, case selection and more. Now we've moved SMT manufacturing to Europe and Asia to cut costs, but we still keep some assembly operations based in Philadelphia (Jenkintown to be exact, right up route 611 if your coming from downtown). Because our factory in asia (see image section 2) is able to take care of just about everything (the way it should be done) and we've recently just shipped all outstanding orders to clients, we are liquidating some of the extra surplus equipment we have in the Philadelphia office/warehouse/our garages. From demo miners, to power supplies, to computer cases and more, we have a decent amount to unload. We figured we'd give the coin community a go at it first before listing everything on ebay. We'll accept Paypal (via an email paypal invoice) or Bitcoin (via a bitpay email invoice) or cash on the spot of course if your close enough to pickup. Receipts will be given for all equipment purchases. Bulk purchases are welcome and pricing is negotiable, but do please remember we often paid top dollar and ordered these items at express costs with the intent to assemble and ship quickly based on the failed SMT's expectation of the boards delivery times. (Image section 1) -- (Image section 2) We'll try to break this down in an organized way by section of equipment and post images accordingly. Shipping is not included, but if you have a UPS, FEDEX, or DHL account we can ship and bill to your account. Or preferably you create a label and we'll just bring it out throw it on the package and ship.

Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: IMET’s response to AMT (Advanced Mining Technology Inc) negative allegations

IMET, did you manufacture this board? The one with the burn marks? We did make that and it was not damaged when delivered to AMT. One of two things caused that failure. Either the backplane was shorted out (likely to the hash board heatsinks) or the backplane was not connected to the hash boards correctly (off by a pin or upside down). Or the lack of copper in the board itself cause the trails to overheat. IMET chose to cut costs, we paid the price.

Alright,
Can we gear the conversation in a direction which may actually help us get the 1u/2u's out the door. Please, if you're willing elaborate on your experience with server PSU's, like the HP 403781-001 DL380 G5 vs 2x ESP129 HP 550 Watt . Like lets discuss server psu's, connectors and the best way you guys would solve an attempt at a universal design for a box for A1/A2/BE200:
The below cases have been developed and ran stable in a test environment using standard atx supplies. Now we need to choose the right server psu's or combo psu's.
2U server case which needs 1600W, 12x 6pin pcie is needed. 2U server case which needs 1300W 5/6 x 8pin pcie is needed
1U server case which needs 750w 5/6 x 8pin pcie is needed 1U server case which needs 1300W 5/6 x 8pin pcie is needed 1u server case which needs 1000W 4x 6pin pcie is needed.
General idea is bulk purchasing of 2 to 3 models or a universal connectors for a specific line of supplies like HP or older IBM's. Any ideas are welcome.
<cracks knuckles> Hokey dokey - my area of fun This of course all applies to any miner that needs only +12vdc 1st question: Only 12vdc is needed with all other required voltages being derived from it on-board the cards right? 2nd: PCIe 8pins? They provide 2 more common returns to reduce ground bounce and technically allow more current to be pulled from the (still only) 3 +12v pins. Good to use. Just surprised to see someone is on their toes Great reference to PC power connectors http://www.moddiy.com/pages/Power-Supply-Connectors-%26-Pinouts.html Also good to see lots of PCIe plugs used in all power ranges - by the Molex book max load is 5-amps per-pin or only 180w per-plug. With all HP server supplies of that family, refer to http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/14209_na/14209_na.pdf Pay attention to the input voltage vs wattage rating! Most are dual rated eg found the one you gave on Amazon and it is 800w on 95-120vac in and 1,000w on 200-240vac in. Now, for the highest watt rigs, the HP supplies all support 1+n operation so they can be paralleled, all need to be same supplies so 2 of the 900/1200w ones got you covered up to 1.8kw load off of (2) 110v plugs I will need to find what control pins are used to master/slave them. As for connecting to them... I use the HP 900/1,200w ones to power all the s1's and soon s3's in my Ant Pharm. I have yet to find a connector for the back so direct soldering is used (and best). Each supply feeds 4 PCIe 6-pin connectors or 2 S1/S3's. Because the supplies are 3ft away from the Ants I use red/black paired uber flexible 12ga wire from McMaster-Carr or AutoZone (McMaster way cheaper!) http://www.mcmaster.com/#9697t4/=szo6yr The PCIe plugs are from FrozenCPU and start as 12" extenders, just cut off the male plug. I'd think that you can OEM them as female plugs with leads. For use directly in the case you would of course just solder the PCIe leads directly to the power planes on the psu. In my case I used 14-16ga splices which are perfect for to the 12 ga feeds on one side and on the other side 3 twisted together 18ga leads from the PCIe plugs. On the small pins control part of the HP connector, pin-1 on the left end is common, pin-4 is DC on/off. Wire to a switch, when circuit closed the DC power is on. Picture time! Thanks Rich, exactly what i was looking for, we'll try exactly that today. Any other models work well. There is a heavy supply of second hand refurbished Dell 750W supplies over here as well, for 2U case. Let me get the model number.

Before it is jumped on, needs to be mentioned 'the select few' are those presently involved in litigation. While not a lawyer I'd think shipping to them is not allowed until settled.
Right, thanks for that.

Not publicly providing tracking numbers is a good idea that isn't information any company should release, but the excuse of not providing it directly to each client because of "potential trouble makers" seems somewhat bizarre to say the least.
Indeed the UPS tracking number should be sent privately to the client as soon as the package is shipped. Thre is no excuse for not doing so. I intended to suggest that they publish only "order #, model, quantity, date order received, date(s) product(s) shipped/refunded" for all orders, so that each client can verify not only his status but also how it stands in relation to the other clients. In normal circumstances a company would not publish such data, but given the persistent (and, I would think, justified) suspicions that this company is being quite unfair in the scheduling of shipments/refunds, publising that information would do more good than harm, IMHO. Bitcoin-related businesses in general are risky because they are not regulated, and, being private companies rather than public, they are not required to submit to independent audit every quarter. One way to reduce that risk and increase customer confidence is to be more transparent than a normal corporation would. After every ones order is delivered, aside from the select few, then yes maybe we'll do that. But in general companies don't need to do that, nor justify itself on this forum/thread. Our clients never came from here, maybe 20-30 of them max. Some of them ended up here but we do not sell on this forum and have no desire to gain clients from this forum. We're targeting larger companies now, just as we did before. End users, or single client consumer sales are a headache, and for our small staff its more logical to focus on a few enterprise clients rather then hundreds of average joe. When you need 100-1000 machines in 7 days or less, come to us, that's about it. Lets go back to supporting AMT guys, we are turning it around and strategically we're in a very decent position in the moment.

What ever.
Last batch has shipped out. Everyone accept specific customers, and lead plaintiffs has received or will have their miners with in the next 2-7 days. We're not sending tracking numbers in order to not deal with potential trouble makers. Miners will just show up and that's about it.
Lets post some more pictures so we can make clenell look like a douche bag.
