281  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any decent ways to gain interest off your Bitcoin? on: September 18, 2015, 07:30:20 AM
the only way would be with mining if you have low electricity cost or if you have it free, aka steal it

you can buy 1 S7 and see how it go, but the long roi will kill your expectations
Can also workout with the GHS ,but not that much roi but less hardwork and burden .
not really anyone can steal electricity ?

there are some college students or someone that work on a huge industry that can take their electricity and use to mine , maybe with an hidden miners

inrussia i've heard that they are still doing the trick with the magnet, to have free power...

What is the trick you're talking about ? I've never heard of.

you put a magnet near the electricity meter, which should stop the counter to go ahead, there it will be registered that you have never consumed anything in term of electricity

this is not legal at all, but in some country it still working
that is not soo welcoming if you are mining with a couple of miners ..
and if you have a farm full of ASIC's and you do it then ,you prolly get caught by the amount of usage and the amount you are paying .

well yes, this was done by private small miners in the altcoin section, with multiple gpu , not by asic companies
That is a very different case then , Gpu's dont require the hardwork like asic's do but still you are going to get caught under cyber criminal activities eventually and that too just for saving some bucks.
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had to choose to put 5 BTC into 1 BTC investment, what would that be? on: September 18, 2015, 07:27:53 AM
If i had 5 btc to invest i would put it at poloniex,i would be lending it there isnt anything more safe then those at the moment.

So how does their lending service work seems a good way to provide services providing theirs some sort of backup for lending coins. Who are you lending to am assuming poloniex or lending to other users ?

As long as there s no collateral system to protect your loans, I do not think how anyone can go with lending these days.

I personally invest into in staking, quite profitable and much safer.
NOt so simple as you speak though, only difference is that you are responsible for your loss and in case of loaning ,mostly other guys.
how can you analyze any altcoin ? just basing on how developers speak ? or price ? or what ?
see the rdd ,for example.
283  Other / Meta / Re: I have a proposal to vary the trust system that is used here. on: September 18, 2015, 07:23:55 AM
i personally dont think Bad bear is going to bother about this ,the motive of the DT is to keep the network strong and possibly in less diversity or less people..
making 5 levels is going to add up many BS users..

290  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How does escrow thing works??? Plzz explain me on: September 17, 2015, 01:05:04 PM
Also, above me posters have explained only human escrow. There is also completely automated escrow system that works very well with the help of BIP38.

http://www.bitnow.co/escrow/

Check it out. I have used it and never had any problems with it.

Cheers!
could you give some more details about that deal ? I mean what did you bought or sold and what was the fees ?
also the money involved,thanks

I am very sorry. I have actually used https://bit2factor.com/
It's weird but the bitnow website that I have shared in a first link look exactly the same as this bit2factor. I don't know what's a deal but this might be a scam so stay away from this. You can't also find anything on Google about the bitnow, on the other side about https://bit2factor.com/ you can find many threads that confirm it's legit.

A while ago I have bought 0.35 BTCs via Paypal. I was paying via Paypal and we have used this method https://bit2factor.com/ and everything went smooth!

Cheers!

Edit: Also connection is not private to bitnow so stay away from this definitely!
loll there is no difference in them ?
thanks for the feedback though, will do some research on the second one.

That's what I thought as well. That's why I got confused and sent you a bitnow link because the site looks exactly the same as bit2factor one. I guess that the creator wanted to mimic the site so the people would fall for it, just like I did.

But there are differences. Bit2factor is https while the fake site is just http, connection is not private as well. This is a huge difference, especially when you need to send funds over the Internet and execute a safe transaction.

Bitnow is just a scam attempt. Why else would they make the same exact website if they don't want to screw people over.

Cheers!

thanks for making it clear ..but both of them don't look safe to me ...lol

293  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do Newbies (or Anyone) Enjoy Paid Bitcoin Tasks? on: September 17, 2015, 11:00:22 AM
Not really ,I wont do the task if I am getting 100$ at the end of the week ..and spend more than 40 hours too .
time does matters here ,an hour a day would do great for such offers.

I have done handful of trades on LBC too and not all went smooth but the majority were ..
one thing I can bet on is 'they allow scammers and promote them'.
