1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: April 19, 2021, 11:43:16 PM
this gives Liverpool the opportunity to enter the Champions League spot.

I guess this wont matter anymore because all of those big 6 will go to the ESL most likely. In all those next matches involving those big 6 , we will probably see alot of inconsistent results.

it's time for him to take a "smaller" club and to try everything from the beginning.

I wont be surprised to see Mourinho coach teams like Leeds, Wolves or Crystal Palace soon though lol. He brought this to himself, the reason that he failed was because he keep on blaming shit to everyone else but himself. His strategy no longer works but he refuses to adapt to this changes.

Kinda feel nostalgic, most people in this thread used to write about how good Mourinho was in the early season and keep saying that Ole should be sacked lol
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ The European Super League ( ESL) on: April 19, 2021, 10:09:04 PM
I believe that the future belongs to the Super League.

Its more like destroying the whole ecosystem. The current league system ensure that small teams will be getting some good amounts everytime they play against those big names which then help those small teams to build up their teams however the Super League is taking away all those big names thus destroying all those small teams as well

In the long run, its kinda like turning football into some sort of entertainment instead of sport

I'm not against the project I'm not just comfortable the way the matter is being handled, the proposal is a good one but it came at the wrong time, why not wait till after the current campaign, now Chelsea, Rel Madrid, Man City, Manutd and Arsenal are set to get kickout of the the current UEFA competition.

Its to show FIFA that they are dead serious about this. Its kinda like telling FIFA that they got nothing to lose even if they all decided to go with the ESL

When they are already asking out some KYC via pop out and it seems you cant get rid of it then maybe its time to find some another casinos.  Cheesy

I might be able to do that as I normally dont really keep that much in any sites but some people especially the highrollers might stay even with the KYC enforced.

We do not allow any withdraws of funds until the KYC is filled in and approved. In case of misinformation or unfaithful filling in, the company may hold the funds until the KYC is approved. We might ask you to do Step two verification before withdrawing any funds if you filled in intentionally wrong information in the KYC online document.

Source: https://roobet.com/aml

Do everyone notice this terms since from the beginning?
Their KYC-AML lastly updated in 28 January 2021

LoL I filled in fake identity on my account  Tongue . I didnt even notice this term was updated on 28th January. Btw I think this level 1 mandatory KYC was enforced recently probably yesterday or Saturday. I played on Roobet last friday and the pop up didnt show up back then.

As for the level 2 KYC , I think you are more likely to be asked for it in case you try to withraw a big amount or there is some sort of suspicious activity from your account . I mean if my real name is Peter Parker and I filled in Robert Parker for the level 1 KYC, Roobet wouldnt even know about it unless I tried to do weird stuff in their site
4  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: April 19, 2021, 05:57:10 PM
But I am not still sure that it actually for the all roobet users.

It is a mandatory level 1 KYC for every accounts. There is no way to avoid this because it keeps popping out everytime you login into the site and there is no skip button for it

I believe it is not necessary that you place the exact information of yours on that KYC form. Since there are users who did that, most probably it is fine.

It is not but as some other has pointed out, you might get some trouble with it in the future. Normally it happens when you try to withdraw huge amount as some site might takes some extra security check in case if someone win unusual huge amount. Thats when it could be a problem if you fill in some random identity for your accounts
5  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk poker series #2 hosted by Betnomi on: April 18, 2021, 11:57:03 PM
I agree the software could use an upgrade, but the series has ran fairly smooth. There has been a disconnect here and there that every player experiences, so there is no advantage for anyone.

Btw, I just played for around 3 hours in one of Betnomi's tournament but it seems the disconnection issue is still there. Im not sure if they had an upgrade for their server but this time it is faster for me to get back into my seat after the disconnection. Normally I had to refresh the page several times before getting back into my seat. Some people probably still prefer to play in another site without this disconnection issue though

Things have quite unravelled for me lately. But I think Ill be moving to supported accommodation soon

Everything will get better for you soon buddy  Smiley
6  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: April 18, 2021, 10:33:11 PM
if Roobet ask you for the KYC then there's something which seems fishy about your account at their end.

Im not sure if you are being sarcastic or ignorant. You might want to read the previous post before mine

-snip-
Obviously, I waited for the KYC problem to be corrected. But, after seeing the answer given to you, I have completed level1 and there was no problem in withdrawing. After a few seconds, my withdrawal has been sent.

Quoting for references in case someone might ask about this. So its clear that this level 1 KYC is mandatory for everyone but they wont ask for any further verification of your ID. Basically you can type in anything in there but to avoid major problem in the future, putting real identity might be the ideal choice

Have you seen the winners of the Raffle? The majority won with 0 tickets. lol
https://roobet.com/50k-roo-bonanza

The tickets numbers are showing on my end, probably there was some sort of visual error when you check. There are alot with less than 300 tickets on average, I got 140 lol too bad Im not one of them
7  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: April 18, 2021, 08:27:00 PM

It seems that we only need to fill the identity and no verification is asked for the identity which means we can fill it with whatever identity we want (?). I tried to change my identity after I filled them and I can save the new identity without having to show any ID

I was going to withdraw some funds after the KYC mandatory to check wether it will affect withdrawal or not but jeez the fees are huge. Anyone can testify about withdrawal after the KYC mandatory?

I wouldn't advise you to do that. Should they suddenly enforce additional verification, you risk your account getting locked/ disabled for falsifying info.

So far, no news about that since I think most of us didn't proceed with the KYC.

Roobet has no reason to enforce further verification if I dont do anything suspicious on their platform , I dont even have huge balance in my account $200 tops after I claim my monthly rakeback in few more days iirc. Besides that, they should have disabled us from editing any further after you have submitted your identity

Anyway, according to the live support you only need to complete level 1 to withdraw

I havent try it yet due to the high fee, will be glad if someone can share after withdrawing with only level 1 KYC
8  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: April 18, 2021, 04:02:57 PM
Any one of you guys noticed that KYC is now mandatory? The identity confirmation suddenly popped up today after I refreshed the page.

No official announcement from Roobet it seems.

It seems so, I get the same pop up.

Tuchel excels in his test against Guardiola clearly despite Pep's clear rotation in his squad at the start of the match.

I doubt that Chelsea will be able to win against City in case if they meet in Champions League as I kinda consider this match to be a fluke. Wether you like it or not, Manchester City dominate the game statistically from possession and goal attempts however Chelsea switch to their full defense tactic after the 1st goal ( kinda reminded me of Jose Mourinho ) .

It was a good match but Manchester City should have won that one and they wont be able to pull it off one more time in case if Chelsea meet City in CL
10  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: April 17, 2021, 10:00:55 PM
I think you can understand if you like it or not, but you do not really understand if you would have a strong feeling or not, there are tons of things that start with dislike that eventually turns into love if you give it enough time, or you will just turn the dislike into hatred as well.

Its slot and its simple for me. If I win something big from the slot than I probably will like it but if I keep on getting trash from the slot then it is going straight into my blacklist.  Tongue. So far the only slot that is in my blacklist for now is Hand of Midas lol. IIRC, I bought 7 bonus rounds from this slot and one of those are the 5 scatters bonus rounds

7 bonus rounds and it gave me trash, not even a breakeven for me lol

Teaser for the next in house game, crash game is coming soon !. ETA is still not announced yet but it should be close to the final testing phase now  Smiley

11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: April 17, 2021, 08:59:20 PM
I think very disappointed for West Ham United how to make their position keep close with top four because they can qualify to champion league next season, but still left six match later and hope Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham failed to get three points.

West Ham is going to play against Chelsea next week so it would be the moment for West Ham to get back to top 4 in case if Chelsea win their next one against Brighton. Compared with Chelsea, West Ham only has Premier League while Chelsea still has to play against Real Madrid on 27th so Tuchel might be resting some player against West Ham, definitely a good chance to win for West Ham

I personally wants West Ham to get into Champions League next season, it would be great though

Anyway, its a 1-0 win for Wolves. An expected victory because they are playing against Sheffiled
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinbase reported significant user growth before IPO on: April 17, 2021, 06:00:21 PM
Bad news for everyone who belived in COIN:

https://www.nasdaq.com/market-activity/stocks/coin/insider-activity

All insider and early investors, including coinbase CEO - ARMSTRONG BRIAN went all out. They dumped their shares in first few days of trading... Damn this looks super pessimistic not only for COIN investors but also for whole crypto industry.

Well considering that this has always been the crypto cycle so far, I dont feel surprised at all. Most of the ICO in crypto ended up being dumped after it was listed on exchange . Most of the COIN's early investor are probably crypto enthusiast as well so no doubt that they probably dumped those shares after the price took off

I do think the major factors contributing to this growth are :
ATH
All of those are legitimate factors, and I'd add that there looks to be a lot of new individual investors getting into the crypto market.  Most of them I'd bet are pure speculators looking for short-term profits, but either way I wouldn't discount their contribution to both Coinbase's growth and to the surge in crypto prices.

Coinbase is just one of the gateway into crypto market like many other exchange but most of the new users probably lives in US otherwise it would be absurd to register and use coinbase ( or some new user might feel that it is safer to use coinbase because the stocks are listed in Nasdaq )

Everton is playing a fantastic football match, though there outcomes hadn't been impressing.

Its not fantastic at all, their last 5 records are 2 loses and 3 draws. Its bad especially when they are trying to reach top 5 atleast. If only Everton win atleast two matches out of the last 5 , they could have get into 5th right now

Jose is not following the trend currently. He is still playing defencive football that won him all those titles 10+ years ago.

I wonder what is his excuses this time and do you think that there is a possibility for him to be sacked next season? lol. The reason that Spurs still stand on 7th is because their striker is Harry Kane, they wouldnt have made it this far if it wasnt Kane

21 goals for Kane this season is impressive btw
15  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨Roy's Poker Room♥️♦️♣️♠️ Bitcoin | Daily 10 mBTC (0.01 BTC) Freerolls! on: April 16, 2021, 10:06:32 PM
Hey guys, can you share your country of connection? It seems Cloudflare is limiting some connections to some countries.

Nothing to do with cloudflare and definitely this is an issue with the site / poker client

It seems we gave out too much btc on the daily freerolls and we will have to change our strategy.

$500-$600 a day is not lunch money, so we will have to change our strategy.

The old 0.01 btc freerolls with addons and rebuys finally backfire huh. I thought something like this will happen sooner or later and its one of the weirdest structure for freerolls because thats basically just giving away money. You should run the site with 0.01 btc budget for each week and separate it into few freerolls to attract some players to try the site out ( or if it is too much, simply lock the freerolls funds to only allow players to use it for tournament buy in )
16  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: April 16, 2021, 07:39:12 PM
Most of the time if you really want to see what a real slot is like, and if you will like it or not, drop it to minimum you could gamble and play 10k rounds if you can, obviously sometimes it is too high and you can't play it, but if you can afford to you should do that because under 1k

I think I can get a clear opinion on wether I like the slots or not simply from testing the bonus feature without having to play 10k rounds. What matters the most for me would be the bonus feature, I personally dont really care about the base game at all because I tend to either use the turbo mode or do another stuff while I roll

Even if you are a fan of the base game, simply look for the slot review videos on youtube instead of rolling 10k rounds.

I personally have never won anything good on Deadwood, but that's probably because I played less than 100 spins on it overall. Almost all of them were losing ones or with a small payout.

Deadwood's base game is probably the worst I've seen as well and its pretty rare to land 3 scatters on Deadwood but the bonus round could be massive though. Idk though I rarely roll on Deadwood, I always go straight to purchase the bonus round whenever I play on it

18  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinbase has started trading in NASDAQ minutes ago on: April 15, 2021, 10:15:35 PM
Now that Coinbase has been valued at double digit billions, we have to wait and see what investors like Warren Buffett have to say about it.

Its Coinbase's value as a company and it has nothing to do with bitcoin / crypto. People buy Coinbase's stock hoping the value of the company would take off because it is a company that deals with crypto in particular and crypto is the hot stuff right now

but I feel like every pace right now takes us further and further away from that freedom bitcoin was supposed to give.

That 'freedom' isnt alligned with the current world idealism but if you look at the larger picture, Coinbase made it to NASDAQ. 5 years ago no one would really think that this would happen but yeah I dont think its going to affect bitcoin / crypto that much
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: April 15, 2021, 07:58:54 PM
Prague dominated indeed. I'm thinking of placing simple MLs on all three underdogs tonight

So did you end up making this bet? I hope you dont lol. I know the 5x odds was really tempting and I took it lol. Ikr Arsenal will be trying to win in the 2nd leg but was expecting this match to be another close match like the 1st leg but it turns out to be a nightmare for slavia

Although both teams have same chance to pass + Slavia playing home, bookies have another say:
Slavia @5 - Arsenal @1.72
Are we missing something? I believe Arsenal will win but the odds are weird!

The odds was huge considering that the score was 1-1 in the 1st leg and I took it without any hesitation lol and now it seems that I must pay the price for this

A small bet but definitely sucks when you lose ( actually this cost me another parlay slip that consist of Manchester United, Slavia and Ajax ML lol )

You wrongly judged Arsenal, they seem to be comfortable to night against slavia Prague, with a three goal gap

Well considering the 1st leg was 1-1, alot of people seems to be backing Slavia this time and I think it's quite reasonable

I think Arsenal would be at the final match of the tournament.

I'll be glad if this happens. Manchester United would dominate Arsenal for sure
20  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk poker series #2 hosted by Betnomi on: April 15, 2021, 07:13:05 PM
I spoke with the owner today and the magical number for us to have a 3rd series is 15 committed players. If we don't have that many interested who can and will play weekly it likely will not happen for us.

I guess this means there is no 3rd series for us and I was kinda expecting this to happen because the 2nd one only has less than 8 in average. Few months break from bitcointalk weekend poker isnt so bad either. Some of us probably fed up with pokers already so yeah a few months break before the next one might be good though.

Well, It was nice playing with all of you guys for months ( close to 1 year since the 1st one started in swc iirc )  Smiley

I think it would be fair if everyone invited two people

I tried to invite few people from ggpoker for the 2nd series and they wasnt interested in this. Compared to ggpoker, Betnomi's poker is pale in comparison so yeah. Aside from few folks I've known from ggpoker, I dont really know anyone else that might be interested in this
