Cloak had anon that was initially believed to be trustless until it became evident that a posa tx could be decrypted / hacked by a bad wallet (although very difficult to do so) to reveal sensitive data. It took many weeks after testing for that to surface.

Now SDC is doing something different and very clever. It seems SDC is using a purely blockchain based process for issuing / destruction / redemption of Shadow and on that basis, if correct, makes the unforgeability very strong indeed.

The obvious weakpoints in SDC anon, if there are any, as pointed out before by people raising questions would have to be the risk of cheating the system for gain.

What would seal the deal in SDC is:

Irrefutable proof that there is no possibility to hack the wallet to allow minting of shadow tokens without destroying SDC of same value.

An undetermined amount of XAI (Sapience) is being purchased by the Abacus fund and will be available to all XQN (Quotient) holders that have funds in their wallet at the time of the snapshot.

The dev said the snapshot is taking place on / at 11:59:59PM EST 12/17/2014 and will be accessible via a website. I.e it'll probably ask you to confirm your address containing x amount of xai and those will be allocated to you.

The total you can get will depend on two things.

2: Your % of coins in XQN

It's true that a large marjority of IPO / ICO coins have failed and I didn't invest in any of them!

This one is different and got my investment because of the potential of the dev and other contributors building on an innovative series of services in the future, these services have to be paid for with xaI.

i.e imagine a simulated financial trading platform that kept learning and getting better but cost far less than existing privatised versions. That would entice people in to buy XAI to get access to certain levels.

The path for AI is almost limitless so this project all depends on what people are willing to do for it, the dev included.

The possibility that the coin is pointing towards is worth way way more than the starting ICO therefore with such a low cap and promising tech that outweighs everything we've seen so far, I'd say it's undervalued by a factor of 100 x and up with it being built out

Yes betting on the future but this is where the best trades are made.

I would like to use BitBay to create a smart contract in the following manner.

If x person finishes x work by specified date he will receive x coins.

Do those coins have to be BAY or can it be set-up so that the contract pays out using any altcoin?

That's incorrect and based on what? I don't know about the others but I invested some when I spotted this and still intend to. In terms of too much negativity in this thread... Who's fault is that? It's been totally uncalled for and to everyone on the outside it reeks of selfless greed driven by extremely short sighted people that don't seem to care too much about the longevity of this project but instead are more concerned about making a quick buck.


He's listened to people that will put more btc into this, which is the entire purpose of a crowdfund! Rules were there to encourage investors to step in earlier, but like it's been said before... some of them like myself hadn't seen this til the last minute... because this is a crowdfund (to gain working capital) he chose to give us a chance.


Come off it, it's not even been two days since the extension was given. Give the banks a chance to allow us access to our own money .

Nonsense. My bank still hasn't credited the exchange with the funds I initiated transfer of yesterday. Then the exchange used for purchasing the btc - only processes withdrawals - once per day so there's a good chance the btc won't be available before Monday.



How about try being positive so they are actually worth something.


Again. Not sure that kicking up a fuss over a 7 day extension and contributing to the fud here is the best way to go about protecting your investment. Ah... I get it... unless you don't want others to invest to protect your % of coins... haha!
