821  Economy / Speculation / Re: If you invest in bitcoin, do you invest in alternative cryptocurrencies as well? on: November 21, 2013, 06:01:47 PM
I've invested 10% of my BTC into Goldcoin.

Simply because if somebody asks me how I'd like to pay for something

I'd rather say.

"Goldcoin!"  Grin

I'm getting more and more interested in LTC also, but haven't invested yet.
822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Blockchain.info says insufficient funds on: November 20, 2013, 11:38:31 PM
This issue got resolved after I imported my wallet.
823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Blockchain.info says insufficient funds on: November 20, 2013, 08:37:57 PM
I've sent a support ticket to blockchain.info
824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Blockchain.info says insufficient funds on: November 20, 2013, 07:31:36 PM
For some reason today, blockchain.info is saying that I've got insufficient funds to send BTC out.

I don't understand why. I've got 20 BTC.

Does anybody know why this is?  Huh

Thanks!
825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Bitcoin Endgame on: November 20, 2013, 12:23:58 PM
If bitcoin reaches a price whereby I can purchase a house for 10 BTC without having to take out a 25 year mortgage.

I'll get out, and into something else.

If it was possible to do so, I'd also buy the house with BTC otherwise I'd have to cash out into fiat first to make the purchase.
826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here is the reason why the Chinese Communist Party is not stopping bitcoin. on: November 20, 2013, 12:18:17 PM
Bitcoin will grow but it will not take over the world, it would be insane to think that.

Nor will it be the only crypto currency that people use.

It is simply the first that has gained mainstream traction.

Others will follow on a larger scale.
827  Economy / Speculation / Re: China on: November 20, 2013, 10:59:19 AM
But there's definitely a good reason why they've slowed drastically atm.

Slowing down is your way to describe panic sells?

Good point.

I don't know how to see how much their sell vs buy?
828  Economy / Speculation / Re: China on: November 20, 2013, 09:47:52 AM
Perhaps they're all eating dinner at the same time.

But there's definitely a good reason why they've slowed drastically atm.

Earlier today when I turned on fiatleak they bought about about 20 times less than the US over a 15 minute period.  Shocked

Wonder why they are not buying atm?

Their Facebook page seems pretty active with 80K+ fans, so even if they are not the biggest they still have a decent sized user base.

Yeah I noticed she seamed very attentive and almost satisfied when Patrick Murk from the Bitcoin Foundation was speaking.

She is Satoshi (or perhaps his wife)!  Grin

I like the way they've got it splashed across the homepage, in the slider.

That'll get some attention.
833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: GoldCoin™ (GLD) Thread - The Gold Standard of Digital Currency [OFFICIAL THREAD] on: November 19, 2013, 08:08:38 PM
"I'd like to pay with Goldcoin!"

I bet that's what most people in the normal population would rather say when asking to pay for something!

Great name!

It will be good when this catches on.  Grin

Thanks for all the info!  Cool

835  Economy / Speculation / Has BTC entered the parabolic stage? on: November 18, 2013, 06:24:11 AM
I've never seen it rocket like this before.

In one day my 21.5 BTCs have increased nearly $2000 in value.

I love what you are capable of BTC   Smiley Wink Cool
836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who here actually bought something with btc in last 6 months? on: November 17, 2013, 09:20:29 PM
Subscription to the Bitcoin Foundation (to see what the fuss was all about).

I've negotiated to earn some btc in exchange for small construction works.
837  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-11-17 Coindesk - US has already ceded dominance in bitcoin trading on: November 17, 2013, 06:14:03 PM
This is in complete contrast to the volume of BTC entering the US as demonstrated on the site www.fiatleak.com

839  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will You Sell when BTC Hits $1,000? on: November 16, 2013, 07:52:55 PM
BTC seems to have reached a point whereby whenever there is a mini crash there are investors on standby with purchase orders ready to snap up coins preventing another complete free-fall.
840  Economy / Economics / Re: The satoshi: now the second-lowest currency denomination on: November 16, 2013, 05:08:52 PM
Fun fact of the day!  Grin

It's going to be interesting to watch how one Satoshi climbs the ranks of currency denominations as Btc price climbs.
