More than 500 BTC net have been divested since the change came into effect, though admittedly that's less than I had expected. Whether that's because investors are "playing chicken" with each other or their demanded rate of return is lower than I assumed is hard to say. In any case, I have no doubt that the bankroll will eventually reach a saner size as commission rate continues to increase to match Bitcoin's price.
Regarding alternatives: I've seen some interest-bearing accounts for Bitcoin, but none that offer more than 3% per year. IMO that's way too low to justify the risks, though, especially the significant counterparty risk.

First, offsite investing will be retired completely. This will immediately reduce the size of the bankrolls by more than 4,000 BTC and is also in the interest of fairness towards the majority of investors who did not have the opportunity to invest offsite. All remaining offsite investments will be eliminated and affected investors will receive an equivalent amount of dilution fee credits.
Second, bustabit and bustadice will both move to a dynamic commission model where the commission changes in real-time based on the size of the bankroll:
commission rate = bankroll / 10,000 BTC
On bustabit this means that the commission rate will be roughly the same as now or slightly lower. On bustadice these changes slash the commission by more than half, down to ~20%.
So it will incentive us to increase your on site liability on both sites for now. Don't you think that works against what you try to accomplish a bit? |

Looks like someone who has the seed and plays smart.
His bets and wins don't seem to look out of the ordinary. If he wanted to defraud the casino he would have been better off maximizing his wins under multiple accounts and withdrawing the winnings. Not risking that the admin finds out the seed may have been leaked. I can't say you don't have a good point. |

I have watched this player Junya5805 playing from 1 BTC profits to 100 BTC profits on his profile, when he started to lose 60 BTC and left with a profits of 40 BTC, I thought he was going to lose all his profits away as he continues to play, but amazingly he managed to recover all the losses and now he is almost getting close to 190 BTC profits on his profile. He does seems to play the game in a very calm manner, as he always bet with an amount of 1 BTC every round. Even when he loses a bet, he does not multiply his next bet amount or use the most commonly used martingale strategy, and he always cash out with different multiplier every rounds. Looks like someone who has the seed and plays smart. |

Having a feature that display the overall performance bet and price of all user is pretty nice and convenient cause it gives you promise that the site is well funded and legit. I didn't even know that this site is existing and its been up for 5 years. What i dont understand is the investment rule where it states "We share 70% of our profit" so that means if i invest i get 170% ?

Earlier today, an attacker exploited a previously unknown vulnerability in one of bustabit's API methods which allowed him to find out the current game's outcome before its end. By exploiting this bug the attacker managed to win a total of 122.5686 BTC and empty the hot wallet.
I have confirmed the existence of this vulnerability and deployed a fix for it. In a few minutes, the game will resume and the hot wallet refilled.
bustabit will reimburse all affected bankroll investors out of pocket. Each investor's account will be credited with the full amount of bits lost to the attacker and an equal amount of dilution fee credits. Because I want to ensure that all affected investors are made whole (vs just adding 122.5686 BTC to the bankroll again), this will take 1-2 days while I calculate how much each investors is owed.
There is no indication that this vulnerability was exploited before today. Player funds were not at risk at any point in time. The problem was specific to bustabit and bustadice was not affected in any way.

Verge is just as private as bitcoin, as long as you don't reuse addresses, or use a stealth address since they've been available in bitcoin wallets since 2012 or 2013. A jackpot isnt reallt hit very often and espeically not for the full amount. Betking is legit and have been provably fair since 2013. This jackpot is new, but I can assure that much larger bets than 50btc have been paid out. |
