1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bustabit v2 on: April 01, 2020, 06:31:13 AM
The v2 is not open source and is not available for licensing either.

bustabit sells software license for version 1 of bustabit. Version 2, which bustabit.com is currently running, is not available for licensing. The software is provided as-is and buyers should be prepared to maintain and modify the code themselves.

If you're interested in purchasing a v1 license or have any questions about it, please contact me via email at https://www.bustabit.com/support.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com odds on: March 19, 2020, 09:51:15 AM
So, for those who are familiar with Stake or dice games in general, are my calculations above anywhere near accurate? Because they look a bit unrealistic to me.
It's correct. Why do you think it's unrealistic?

And based on that, here are the results I've got from the ChatBot (odds command):
Quote
Odds of losing 46 bets in a row at 18.0000%: Once every 9216.43 bets.
Perhaps you misunderstood that chance percentage on the bot. Did you mean 82% chance of winning (18% chance of losing)? Yeah, that would result in once every 1.8 x 10^34 bets.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any Casino with good Investment Returns? on: March 18, 2020, 11:22:52 AM
I'd recommend Bustabit and Bustadice. The daily wagered amount of both sites are among the top (if not the highest) these days. Look at the growth of total investor profit of bustabit and bustadice over the years. I can say for sure anyone who has invested there for at least a year must already be making decent profit now. Bustabit especially has roughly doubled the total profit YOY as of today. You can look the stats for both sites here
https://dicesites.com/bustadice
https://dicesites.com/bustabit

Both sites are operated and owned by devans. IIRC, most of the bankroll is kept in a 2-of-3 multisignature cold wallet by devans, RHavar (the creator of bustabit), and another trusted third party.

Sudah saya update, terima kasih.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Site's Investing (Is it worth it?) on: February 08, 2020, 09:48:27 AM
In that case I assume if a person is interested in such an investment he would have to privately contact the site with an offer?!
No, you don't need to contact those sites privately as they have a dedicated page for bankroll investment. For example, bustadice https://bustadice.com/invest

The site that was mentioned in the OP doesn't highlight which gambling sites are currently in need of investments.
It does. The third column ("Investing") tells you whether you can invest in their bankroll or not.

No. There are lots of sites already with this feature but no one till now got success or make big profits out from investing in a site's bankroll.
Most of the sites that accept investments aren't making big profits but a few ones do. Again, look at the total profit history of bustadice. On this date last year their total profit was on BTC898 vs today BTC1276. That's roughly more than 35% return over a year, which is huge.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimizing the risk- How much possible it is? on: January 28, 2020, 03:40:32 PM
That would be good. I have to do some extra work; that's not something hard but lot of works behind the scene. I guess I can do it without finding out the correlation between both the investment. Rather, I would put $100, $50 in BTC in $25 for each altcoin. It's the same thing, isn't it?
I'm not sure but putting $50 in BTC and $25 on each A and B means you're not well diversified. When Bitcoin goes down, A will go down too. You will have loss on two coins (BTC and A) and positive on one (B). You should only put BTC and B or A and B if you're looking to diversify your portfolio and minimize your risk.

I actually do not trust this "predictor" site to give out correlations without knowing the algorithm behind it. Do you have any idea what algorithm they might be using? Unless I know that I wont use it. Also if I know that then I would probably learn how to apply it myself. Grin
The algorithm is simple. As I said above, they just have had some math on the last 100 days & based on that, they have calculated the correlation.
In fact, correlation is just a statistical function.

You can even do it yourself using Excel (=CORREL) if you have the historical price data, which you can get from sites like CryptoCompare for free.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimizing the risk- How much possible it is? on: January 28, 2020, 12:06:05 AM
Are we safe to say investing on both these coins are minimizing the risk; provided that I will have a good research on both these projects to ensure that these are not shitcoins? Ignore the fact that all coins without BTC is a shit (Note for bitcoin enthusiasts).
I would say yes, but if your portfolio consists of just A and B then I think you should look at the A vs B correlation directly.

But the reality you from price movement provider, none one of altcoin has a correlation positive against BTC went the correction/rally was happening.
Good point. I haven't done any proper analysis but I guess that in a strong trending market (e.g. 2017) no major altcoin has a negative correlation against Bitcoin.

Tongue
Kalau agan mau membuat terjemahannya, silakan.
9  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [Q&A] Tanya Jawab Seputar Forum Disini/Ask about this forum here! on: January 20, 2020, 01:22:56 PM
10  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: CucakRowo Ada apa denganmu on: January 19, 2020, 03:43:00 PM
Kemungkinan salah paham.

11  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [Tips] Manajemen Resiko saat Trading (Cryptocurrency) on: January 15, 2020, 11:24:53 AM

Misal ingin trade setup inverse head and shoulder ini. Entry setelah right shoulder melewati neckline.

12  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [DISKUSI] KEBERLANSUNGAN FORUM DISKUSI BITCOINTALK.ORG on: January 15, 2020, 06:10:52 AM

Btw, maaf baru merespon.

16  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustadice Next Generation Dice on: August 21, 2019, 02:21:13 PM
Hi devans!
First of all I like the look and feel of bustadice very much, its one of the most professional looking sites out there in my opinion. Windice eg. shows the amount of total bets played, total users online etc. at the top of the page. Are there such statistics anywhere at bustadice, couldnt find them Smiley

Have you tried Bitstamp? They're one of the most reputable Bitcoin exchange and AFAIK accept US customer.

19  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best advice you ever heard in case of investments and all on: July 28, 2019, 02:51:39 AM
I wouldn't say this is the best advice, but it makes so much sense. It's a quote from Warren Buffet:

"Diversification may preserve wealth, but concentration builds it."

I stumbled upon this phrase just a few days ago. Funny how I never heard this before. It's certainly not more popular than "don't put all your eggs in one basket" which suggest diversifying your investment. But if you're still building your wealth, investing in fewer opportunities, while riskier, is the right move to make.
20  Other / Meta / Re: DDOS? on: June 24, 2019, 12:42:09 PM
I'm also having that issue before. It's probably caused by this Cloudflare route leak incident https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/incidents/46z55mdhg0t5. A lot of other websites affected by this too.
