3  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Reviews for FTX exchange? on: January 13, 2021, 06:19:27 PM
Kinda weird there's not much discussion about FTX here. The exchange and its founder are crypto twitter darling lol.

I have used FTX for a few months. It's one of the top exchanges now. Very good liquidity. Standard KYC process. Free withdrawal for all crypto, they cover the tx fees. Very helpful for sending ETH and its token if you don't mind keeping coins on an exchange. As for safety, I think their team is very competent and I'm comfortable storing some of my cryptos there as long as you practice good opsec. Remember you can always use leverage to minimize the counterparty risk. Trading fees are similar to other exchanges. Something to note, they charge maker fees, which is weird as you usually get a rebate. Your account has to be in the higher tier and stake some FTT (their exchange token) to get a maker fee rebate.

The site is usually fast as they recently had a massive infrastructure upgrade. What I like the most is their simple cross collateral system you can use almost any crypto as collateral for margin/leverage trading, and their ability to ship new products fast. Some of their innovative markets include: Bitcoin volatility, US presidential election markets, tokenized stock (you can indirectly trade US stocks, even with leverage and collateralized with crypto!), and recently a market to speculate on Coinbase's upcoming IPO. Most of these markets aren't available if you're from the US, though. This sounds like shilling but they're just amazing in delivering innovative products.

7  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [Info]Deposit & Withdraw Rupiah (IDR) Dari Binance Ke Bank lokal Murah dan Cepat on: August 01, 2020, 01:34:57 PM

But why i add space ? i put my own client seed and there was no space in it or it must to add a space at the end ?
Are you sure there's no space at the end of your client seed? This confusion has happened before https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2219681.msg48645184#msg48645184
9  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Famous Website Bustadice.com is cheating Proof attached on: July 04, 2020, 06:18:52 PM
They given me result in my bet 1.03x but when i verified the bet on there verifier  i got 8.53x
Try to add the server seed in code tags, include space if there is since it matters.
Exactly, if you add a space at the end of the client seed the result shows 1.03x

14  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Wallet Crypto Indonesia paling bagus? on: April 09, 2020, 03:21:05 AM

15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bustabit v2 on: April 01, 2020, 06:31:13 AM
The v2 is not open source and is not available for licensing either.

bustabit sells software license for version 1 of bustabit. Version 2, which bustabit.com is currently running, is not available for licensing. The software is provided as-is and buyers should be prepared to maintain and modify the code themselves.

If you're interested in purchasing a v1 license or have any questions about it, please contact me via email at https://www.bustabit.com/support.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com odds on: March 19, 2020, 09:51:15 AM
So, for those who are familiar with Stake or dice games in general, are my calculations above anywhere near accurate? Because they look a bit unrealistic to me.
It's correct. Why do you think it's unrealistic?

And based on that, here are the results I've got from the ChatBot (odds command):
Quote
Odds of losing 46 bets in a row at 18.0000%: Once every 9216.43 bets.
Perhaps you misunderstood that chance percentage on the bot. Did you mean 82% chance of winning (18% chance of losing)? Yeah, that would result in once every 1.8 x 10^34 bets.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any Casino with good Investment Returns? on: March 18, 2020, 11:22:52 AM
I'd recommend Bustabit and Bustadice. The daily wagered amount of both sites are among the top (if not the highest) these days. Look at the growth of total investor profit of bustabit and bustadice over the years. I can say for sure anyone who has invested there for at least a year must already be making decent profit now. Bustabit especially has roughly doubled the total profit YOY as of today. You can look the stats for both sites here
https://dicesites.com/bustadice
https://dicesites.com/bustabit

Both sites are operated and owned by devans. IIRC, most of the bankroll is kept in a 2-of-3 multisignature cold wallet by devans, RHavar (the creator of bustabit), and another trusted third party.

19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Site's Investing (Is it worth it?) on: February 08, 2020, 09:48:27 AM
In that case I assume if a person is interested in such an investment he would have to privately contact the site with an offer?!
No, you don't need to contact those sites privately as they have a dedicated page for bankroll investment. For example, bustadice https://bustadice.com/invest

The site that was mentioned in the OP doesn't highlight which gambling sites are currently in need of investments.
It does. The third column ("Investing") tells you whether you can invest in their bankroll or not.

No. There are lots of sites already with this feature but no one till now got success or make big profits out from investing in a site's bankroll.
Most of the sites that accept investments aren't making big profits but a few ones do. Again, look at the total profit history of bustadice. On this date last year their total profit was on BTC898 vs today BTC1276. That's roughly more than 35% return over a year, which is huge.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimizing the risk- How much possible it is? on: January 28, 2020, 03:40:32 PM
That would be good. I have to do some extra work; that's not something hard but lot of works behind the scene. I guess I can do it without finding out the correlation between both the investment. Rather, I would put $100, $50 in BTC in $25 for each altcoin. It's the same thing, isn't it?
I'm not sure but putting $50 in BTC and $25 on each A and B means you're not well diversified. When Bitcoin goes down, A will go down too. You will have loss on two coins (BTC and A) and positive on one (B). You should only put BTC and B or A and B if you're looking to diversify your portfolio and minimize your risk.

I actually do not trust this "predictor" site to give out correlations without knowing the algorithm behind it. Do you have any idea what algorithm they might be using? Unless I know that I wont use it. Also if I know that then I would probably learn how to apply it myself. Grin
The algorithm is simple. As I said above, they just have had some math on the last 100 days & based on that, they have calculated the correlation.
In fact, correlation is just a statistical function.

You can even do it yourself using Excel (=CORREL) if you have the historical price data, which you can get from sites like CryptoCompare for free.
