To be on topic, scientologists suck, and I cant take Paul seriously, sooo...Good for them?

We now have a permanent US military base here with thousands of US troops
Really? Ive heard about the AFB in Alice springs, but that's supposed to be a tiny base in the middle of the outback (and hardly thousands large).....what other bases do we have there?

Wow you left out Ron Paul? really?
What the fuck. Where is Ron Paul?
Write in? Otherwise, he's not on the ballot. At all. Republicans and Libertarians both have thier candidates chosen, so, unless he runs independant (which hasn't been announced), he is out of the race. If he announces otherwise, I will add him to the poll. However, that means Rosanne (yes, that Rosanne) has more of a chance of winning (actually being on a ballot) than Ron Paul. Which is hilarious. Did you guys really not know that?

Well, either:
a) You're watching a shitty Cam version, in which case you're an idiot.
b) You're watching in the cinema and typing this during the film, in which case you're an idiot.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Fucking A, that was hilarious. I even read that in a dry British voice in my head! Super Internet burn. Damn.

Asking for civility on the open Internet is like asking a dog not to drag its ass on the carpet; it is an exercise in futility.

Bitcointalk.org Elections!Yeah, yeah, I know there is another election thread already, but I figured we needed a comprehensive poll...I fit as many options as I could (ok, I got bored halfway through and lumped all the independants together..but really, who votes independant?). So vote away, and if I left something/someone out, or got something wrong, let me know. I'm going to keep bumping this every now and then* to get a feel of the forums general opinion, and to see how that changes as we get closer to election day.On election day, I'll lock the poll at the same time as the real polls close (probably), and we will all see how wrong we were. Feel free to argue politics below....or just vote anonymously, whatever works for you. Sorry in advance to those in other countries..just vote that you hate us, and ignore the thread. * a lot.....like, an obnoxious amount

I don't know you, nor have I ever seen your posts, but posting a poll like this is a pretty douchey thing to do, so I voted yes.
Plus it makes my inner bully happy.

My mtgox account would disagree with you.
I make plenty of profit on wild swings (even after exchange fees).
However, I stay out of the market when trading is flat (or "stable") because the margin after fees is so slim, and its harder to predict price trends. So, I definitely prefer volitility over stability.
