I will talk these days with some swiss layers.

Please send me an pm.

fubly

I would consider selling my "claim".  How can it be done and what price are you willing to pay.

I have an order for about $3400 USD paid Dec 2013 and nothing from Bitmine but bullspit for over one year.

RETURN OUR MONEY

You scamming lying pieces of shit

I also paid Dec 2013 and requested refund Apr or May 2014.  No rig, no refund, no cloud hashing (which I offered to accept the order value in cloud hashes).

What I do have from my consumer experience with BITMINE AG is a whole lot of lies, failed deadlines and ignored emails!  I wish I never heard of Bitcoins or found this forum this is no place for the average man yet to full of scammers still Sad

I only come to find out if anything is new with BITMINE i just wish to get my refund so I can leave you all to "kill or be killed" (that appears to be the motto around here isn't it) amongst yourselves.

I contacted the Swiss ambassador to my country and made a written statement on the criminal activities of Bitmine AG. I'm already sure that I lost my money. The behavior of these people is typical behavior of scammers. My request to the Ambassador was to cause judicial authorities and tax authorities in Switzerland to investigate Bitmine  AG. I refuse to accept that these people will get away with our money hidden behind the Swiss jurisdiction.

What country do you live in? I'll do the same from Canada ... Do you have a letter content/format to share?

I am also Canadian, last night after reading kapanec's post I decided to send an email to the Swiss consulate here in Toronto and to the Canadian Embassy in Switzerland.

I received a reply from a very nice women at the Canadian Embassy who informed me she had called Bitmine AG and talked to them.   She indicated Bitmine would contact me soon to resolve the issue.  She also said that if they did not respond she would call daily to try and get this resolved.

I'm not going to give out her contact information but if you would like to do as I did I will provide you with the email address for our embassy there which I used and was really easy to find.

I have not heard back from the Swiss consulate here in Toronto yet.

Thanks, I appreciate... please send me the info, I'll contact them as well! hopefully the same person will receive the email and can consolidate efforts

Here is the email address I sent to: bern@international.gc.ca

I did receive an email from Bitmine today (see below, redacted), nothing has changed, they're broke, same old BS wait till we're good and ready.  They mention again hashing for the value of my order which I asked how long till it was activated and how long was the contract (at this point a small portion of my coins back via mining is better than nothing which is what I expect in terms of waiting for a refund).  Crickets again, I won't be surprised if I never hear from them again.

I am actually willing to work with them to resolve the issue, I will take a major loss by converting to cloud hashing but FFS every day they delay answering me cost me more and more lost coins dust.

Dear Mr. XXXXXXXX,

as request from the rappresentative from the canadian embassy I write you about your refund request and bitmine's current financial situation. As you may know we are running a datacenter in Iceland where currently most of the hashing power has been given to customers in your same situation who converted the amount we owe them into cloud hashing. This is a possibility that you may also use (current rate is 1gh/1$) . As we are sending more mining units more and more hashing power will be mined for bitmine itself which will let us make some income and finally process the last refunds. We understand your frustation as you were waiting for months for the mining unit, and now for the refund and we are really sorry not to be able to hold up to the trust you put into bitmine. But I want you be aware that we are making everything possible not to have to shut down bitmine, process all the refunds and return to a profitable position on the market. I really would like to give you a date when your refund will be processed, but as you should know, bitmine income mostly depends on bitcoin and difficulty value. You may contact us anytime and we will do the possible to keep you informed about the company's situation and as soon as we are able to tell you a date when the refund will be process, we will let you know.

Best regards,

Bitmine AG, Bitmine.ch

Currently Bitmine have around one petahash per second (Ph/s) of mining capabilities generating around 4,000 bitcoins per month - the equivalent of around $1.2 million (£750,000, €950,000) worth of bitcoin at today's prices.

Steal thousands of coins from customers, then mine thousands more, pretty sweet gig if you want my opinion Tongue  They won't even swap my order value to cloud hashing so I can lose a little bit less than all of it.  They don't even return my very polite emails for months now.  Yup, big time fucking scam operation.

Wow they won't even refund a measly ~9 coins but can mine 4k coins a month, with 3 times that yet to deploy~!

Finally Bitmine admits to me that they have serious financial problems!

I accepted their offer just to get at least some of the BTC back that I have paid to them...

Hello

We have not forgotten you!
Due a huge amount of e-mails we beg your pardon for the late answer.

As you maybe already noticed the Bitmine AG remains in serious financial trouble and can not continue the repayments. The registered Refunds are too numerous to treat all requester equivalent.

At the moment we are trying to achieve an amicable agreement with our customers and hope that it can be accepted by most of them.

In this regard, we kindly ask you to take in consideration to convert the refund amount in cloud mining. Essentially, 1 USD paid by you can be converted into 1 GH/s of the new product, the cloud mining.
This for the chosen mining period as mentioned in our link http://bitmine.ch/product/cloud-mining-hosting-plans-bitcoin/.
If you do accept the offer, we will set up and enable the cloud Mining for you.

The product of cloud-hashing replaces the formerly offered / supplied Miner and will help you not only to get more than four times the power originally purchased, but also the running costs will be much lower.

More information is available on the website: http://bitmine.ch/product/cloud-mining-hosting-plans-bitcoin/

We ask that you inform us about your opinion.
In the meantime, we remain

Best regards

I can't even get this out of them...  I send a polite email every few weeks asking for an update and asking to resolve the issue by a cloud contract.  Emails sent in the last couple of months have been completely ignored.

Asking and asking to work with them to resolve my order, like you I would settle at this point for a cloud contract to try and recoup as much of my ass as I can.   But they won't even respond to a reasonable person trying to work with them...  All the while difficulty sky rockets and my returns continue to diminish by Btimines actions/inactions.

Has anyone gotten a refund?  Was that just a another lie by Bitmine and Giorgio Massarotto?  I mean seriously can anyone tell me if this is a valid company or a big scam?  They don't respond to emails or phone calls.  They are never at work and of course no machines or refunds given.  I'm truly screwed because I used my savings to buy a machine from them and now I have nothing.  They write on their website why we should trust them but it has almost been a year since sending money to them and I have nothing.  Bitmine and other companies like Bitmine is why less and less people are going to trust Bitcoin.  I have already given up on Bitcoin just because of this and now out $6000.  I hope that they get sued and they get shutdown since they are still "selling" a product that they have yet to produce and/or refund multiple customers.  This is a warning to all that want to buy from Bitmine....DON'T DO IT or you will end up like me.  Broke and wished I hadn't done it.  What a world we live it...and then people wonder why we can't trust each other.  Shame on you Giorgio Massarotto...you truly are a clown!

Basically same story here.  I ordered in Nov 2013 and have been asking for a refund for several months now.  They have ignored my emails and I have even asked to have my order value switched to cloud hashing but my emails are completely ignored.  Living in North America I feel pretty helpless against this scamming company.  I'm only out $3500 but fuck this bitcoin shit.  I was willing to take a small gamble on mining and understand I would have basically lost that bet even if they delivered within a reasonable time frame but to be outright scammed is disgusting to say the least.

I hope Karma shoves a great big chainsaw up their collective assholes, they truly deserve it.

STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM BITMINE, NOTHING BUT A SCAM OPERATION!!!!!

Its all out for delivery, so we should have here in a few hours.
WHOOP WHOOP! Totally psyched!

Yes very exciting in deed.  Personally I can't wait to get my now useless miners that will ROI exactly never.  It's even more exciting as I asked several times via email and in person (met Dan at the BTC Expo in Toronto) over the last few months for a refund.  Not a single email to support was returned and although Dan did communicate with me via email after the Expo and indicated he would personally make sure my refund was taken care of I was never contacted).  I was told by Dan someone from Minersource team would contact me and assured me a refund would take place.  I have not received contact from MS and was never refunded.  While chatting with nicely with Dan at the TO Expo I told him I paid in BTC.  His response was that they could not refund in BTC but would have to do a USD refund, which I was OK with

I ordered 4 X-1's in late Nov or early Dec 2013, started asking for a refund as soon as they announced missing the late Feb delivery date.

Over all I would have to say I'm a disappointed customer of Miner Source, I do understand they don't control the manufacturing process but I had a sales contract with Miner Source to deliver a retail product I don't have a sales contract with BA.  I have been patient, polite and reasonable mostly because 4 X-1's isn't worth me getting all bent out of shape over.

Lesson learned on my part for sure, I will simply wait for the now essentially useless unwanted hardware at this point.

I am out of the mining race to the bottom for now.  I will continue to hold (and hopefully buy up some more) coins.  I would like to mine but centralized large scale mining seems to be the way of the future, if big business is here, little Joe's like me are better off not playing.  I hope I'm wrong and if I am I will happily mine again.

I haven't been following this thread last few weeks, are Rigs shipping yet or still just Desks?  Sent my refund request on Apr 26, over a week later May 5 they responded saying they received refund request and it was forwarded to their credit team.  I paid in BTC from my wallet for order 302x just want my mother trucking coin back and be done with this train wreck.  First and last attempt at mining for this cat, small players like me just can't compete anymore.
15  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BITMINE.CH List of Asked Refund for CoinCraft Desk/RIG on: April 28, 2014, 12:06:53 PM
I ordered a rig and paid for it with BTC late Nov.  Was supposed to be Jan week 5 delivery.  I got sick of waiting and do not see Bitmine as able to give a realistic date when rig production will start.

I was/am queue position 13X in the rig line and I am done waiting.  Filled out the request form and sent it via email on the 26th, received the auto reply from their support.

If I receive my refund plus the 10% promised I will only be a little pissed off at them instead of furious...   I have been nothing but polite and professional and I think understanding about the delays but at this point it's just too much.  I can't understand how a company treats customers like this and expects them to come back as repeat customers in the future.

@Bitmine BTC is a long game and your short sighted thinking is doing harm to your reputation by the day.  Good luck, I just wish for my BTC to be refund so I can put this epic failure behind me for good.

Are we so desperate that we cheer a rare post?

First of all i do not want to troll, and if you check my post history you will see that i am far away from those kindergarten kids flaming this thread.

But the time has come to stand up and give yourself a voice!
There are so many things wrong i cannot count them anymore.

But for me the important question is:
How can you miss to update about the RIG Status?

What do my fellow sufferer's think?

Yup that's the only question I care about at this point.  Really disappointed not a single word about Rig status.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: newbie, not sure where to ask this on: March 12, 2014, 09:32:45 PM
ok, thanks, i realized that i would have to do pool mining, and apparently there are still people making some decent money mining at home on other currencies? i just thought id ask here just incase someone could point me towards the best way. i was told today that with a 3000 dollar rig at home you would be making 21 bucks a day

Remember that is a best case scenario at current difficulty.  As diff goes up the amount of coins that machine will generate will go down.  Margins are pretty tight at best on most coins but don't ever mine BTC with GPU's unless you like loosing money.

I actually just sent an email asking if its possible to convert.  I also asked what my estimated shipping time would be if I converted  my order because like you I fear that we may just get shoved to the end of the line.

I received this very quick and nice response from Antonio.  I will say that their queue systems seems whacky I have received different queue positions on different email requests.  Guess I will be waiting for my rig and not switching to a desk after all.

So you are the lucky one Smiley I'm waiting 2 weeks for response on similar request. Cry

I was pleasantly surprised by the extremely quick response this time.  The news wasn't exactly super awesome but they responded to me.  FWIW they have responded to all my email requests (3 or 4 total I think since my order in Nov so I don't think I am being a pest!).  All but this last one took at least a couple of days to get back to me.  Guess my email just happen to be sent at a perfect time for him to catch it a shoot a real quick response too?  Lucky me I guess.

With regards to everything else ya its sucks balls not having a miner yet.

Rigs to Desks create another problem, at least for me, my Rigs should go to a colocation facilty which need a standard rack form factor, which Rigs have, but Desks don't.

So I cannot ask for Desks as replacement for Rigs unless you can put Desks inside a standard rack compatible case.

I don't really see that as a big problem, just like with the Avalons (last years, not the new 2U rackmount ones), we just put them on little shelves that we screw into the racks. 2 shelves that cost EU 15 each are not such a problem...

Of course if you can't lay them flat, then you have to stand them up and lose more space

I'm a little hesitant to ask for this change because we don't know whether BitMine is able to transform each Rig in Desk without further delays.

I have to ask colocation site to prepare for a different solution, which uses more space, and then, maybe, I end up waiting for much longer because BitMine is out of Desk cases.

Dear Mr.xxxxxxxx,
since during this week I am expecting the final information regarding the start of the production of Rigs,I will advise you to wait another week 10 days.
Since the date that the Rigs will enter the production will show which kind of machine(desk or rig) will be possible to arrive faster to you.
At the moment the rig queue that you are having is 13x (which means that we will have to produce 13x-1 rigs before yours, though if we switch to desk we are talking that the queue of desk will be 43x.)
So I would advise to wait a little more to see the progression of the Rigs,
anyway that time that I am asking you to wait it will not affect your queue position.
Please let me know your intentions.
