1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon Nano help on: January 02, 2015, 12:29:07 AM
If you are not sure about how to do the command line "stuff"  as you put it,   then it sounds like a user error vs. a problem with your Nano.   I would start by opening the folder for cgminer  and reading the  README .   you will also need to replace the driver using zadig.    before doing anything read the README .  you will never be able to correctly run the Nano without knowing how to use the mining software.

Sorry if I sound brash,  but it will be hard to even start to help if you dont know how to properly run the software,  be it  bfgminer or cgminer.   There are plenty of people who will be willing to help get you going,  but its hard to help if you dont know what to do when someone tells you how to configure the miner.

The most helpful review Tongue:

Your first step is to google “Dogie's Miner Setup Guides” and go from there. Overall, it took about an hour to glean information and setup the first miner, then only about 5 minutes on the next.

It might be Sushi but I'm not sure he sells on Amazon. Either way whoever is listing them on Amazon keeps infringing on my copyright.

Not sure how they would be infringing on your copyright,  considering you have your guides on a public forum ,  posted for anyone one to see (not in a private setting).  If anything you should be happy they are getting your name out there and giving you credit for it.  I dont know the legal ins and outs  so it is what it is.

Try cleaning your S1's .   Get the dust out of fans and heat sinks.   Dust is probably not whats causing it,  but it will definitely wont hurt it.

if you want to learn and play around mining,   send me a PM  with your address  and I will ship you a antminer U1  usb miner.   It wont mine much,  but will be better then using your GPU or CPU.

I Have 9 U1's  and 9 U2's  id like to sell.    would like to get .025 for each U1 and .027 for each U2's.

Buyer pays shipping unless you buy them all then I will cover shipping.

I dont mind using  escrow,  Buyer covers fees.   If escrow is used, you will need to send me a shipping label so they can be shipped to you.

I also have a couple Asicminer Cubes laying around.  Both work.  Make a resonable offer any they yours.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining rig - no boot after adding 3rd card on: February 20, 2014, 07:17:21 PM
Sounds like the card or riser has a issue. Try booting with just the 3rd card your adding. If it works add one more card at a time. Could be a faulty card, riser, or just hardware conflict.
