Only one week left. And we still do not know of any exchanges that will support the fork.
Why do you need an exchange to support it before the fork? Just download the https://github.com/BTCP-community/electrum-zcl/releases wallet and import your ZCL address after the fork. Eventually exchanges will offer BTCP/BTC trading pairs after the fork. |

Over 60° the cards start to throttle. Only 1-5 %. At 70° they throttle even more. Keep below 60° to get Full Power. Thats my experience with 3 setups with 1060 3/6GB, 1070TI and 1080TI.
And thats why your hashrate goes down after a while, cause VRMs/GPU and MEM is hot and the card slowy begin to throttle.
My setup after hours of mining:

Im using Win7 and the cards have these settings:
GTX 1060 3GB hynix: GPU +240 MEM +400 PL 60%
GTX 1070 TI : GPU +180 MEM +600 PL 60%
GTX 1080 TI : GPU +160 MEM -100 PL 60%
Theres a little room for stability. 1080 Ti runs since 1 year 24/7 with these settings without hassle. I prefer a rock stable system.
In a downtime you are losing money. So a little lower performance is okay for me.
The cards don't throttle at 60C. I've never experienced anything of the sort. They are designed to work at higher temps than that with no ill effects. |

They say this pool sucks for zclassic, although I'm giving it a try anyway because I happen to have some really good connection with one of its servers from my location. What's your opinion, does it suck?
Been mining Zclassic for two month straight and it works excellent. People that can't do shit right are the ones complaining about MPH. stats don't lie, check the 4 weeks, compare pool luck to zcash https://zclassic.miningpoolhub.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks 4,54% vs. 1.03% cause is either lower resources are committed to zcl or zcl daemon is worse than zcash, the latter can be checked with looking at other pools' stats. I dunno. I get my expected amount of Zclassic every day via MPH. Sure the amount of ZCL has decreased over the months because the diff has skyrocketed with the fork imminent. But the fiat payout amount is correct as predicted via whattomine.com. I'm always within 10% over/under of predicted amounts. |

Can we monitor worker through web interface from a tablet or another pc on same network? If so which url and port we need to browse?

My advice is to not even go to the actual pool homepage to check on your workers. What I've been doing for several months is checking whattomine.com to see what I should be making per day in fiat. Then I check https://miningpoolhubstats.com and see if my payouts are close to what whattomine.com shows. I'm always within 10% of whattomine.com. It's been over a month since I visited the actual MPH webpage. I mine just Zclassic and have it set to autopayout. It's totally cruise control and has been for months. |

What is it that you are hoping for? The miner is rock solid and "just works".
I guess hashrate improvement could really be the only thing and, sure, I'd love to see that too but I don't think that happens.

Just wanted to say keep up the good work dstm. I'm at 30 days uptime with Ubuntu on my 8
GPU rig and it works flawless. Not a single crash in a month. Rig is on autopilot.

Jesus, this pool is plagued with so many problems, and the pool OP is virtually silent about all of it - only some brief messages every now and then, but not addressing nearly all the important complaints.
Why are so many people still using this pool? Did it use to work perfectly in the past and it only now started to have problems all of a sudden?
Is there a good alternative to this pool which can do auto-switching on the same algorithm (not between algorithms)? I only know of zpool.ca but that has ridiculous fees and few coins per al
Because I've had no problems at all. I mine straight Zclassic and have been doing so for over a month. I check my balance daily and it matches or exceeds what whattomine.com shows i should be making. My rig is on autopilot. I SSH in once a day to make sure it's working and that's it. I check this thread more than my rig and get a good laugh at the newbs that can't get their shit working correctly. |

Been using MPH for a month. In fact, it's the only pool I ever use. It's a good pool. Sure, there are problems occasionally but they get resolved and the pool continues to pay regularly.
I check my rig once a day. Payouts are correct.

Crack lumps the transactions together and gets a smaller fee. The big one you'd pay would be going from your wallet to the exchange.
What if I just mine straight to the exchange wallet? Would that work? |

I used to mine for the direct coins I wanted and recently switched to BTC payout. I've noticed better payout and it allows you to play on the exchanges with the purchasing as opposed to what it appears the pool does, just dumps it at the current rate.
My concern is the network fee for BTC transfers eats up quite a bit of mining proceeds. |

correct. choose your payout and choose your algo. Everything you mine is converted to your payout.
Ok, thanks for that clarification. Looks like nothing is guaranteed other than BTC. So I guess there could be a wait to get paid in ZLC depending on how often the Equihash coin switcher moved onto that coin in order to mine it and gather a balance. |

Zclassic pool is working. But with the bug yesterday with auto-transactions I did notice some of my Zclassic coins get moved to the auto exchange wallet. Luckily, my autoexchange wallet is Zclassic. But trying to move them back into the normal Zclassic wallet isn't working when I push the "left arrow" button. They appear to be stuck on the autoexchange wallet.
