CryptoCurrency market is at the verge of breaking a new low.
Whenever the market is on a ATL or ATH spree, crypto holders use exchange more. FOMO or FUD cause pressure on most exchanges. ONAM plans to be a top Exchange, and with these features they offer, there’s certainly going to be more pressure during these times. What’s ONAM Plan to take this pressure from so many users?
Hopefully, they don’t shut down or limit registration like most Exchanges do
Firstly they are not operational yet so there is little they can do This is how I see it, by this time next year we won't have this much fall in value of cryptocurrency hopefully The Onam exchange is targetting users to become proficient in their trade so in time to come we should be seeing a reduced activity in stupid trades that's causing problem already in the blockchain I don’t think so buddy. Volume on trades comes with a bull run. Not with the lousy trading. With the features Onam offers, most people would want to use Onam and that could be so much than they could carry if they don’t step up. Exactly. Right now the only thing that this massive decline in value for all crypto brings, is that ONAM is getting farther and farther away from reaching their softcap. Hopefully, they can reach it in the end. Actually, it should now be much easier to reach the softcap. The price of tokens seems to be tied to ETH and BTC. At the moment, you get a lot more tokens for Fiat, if you buy ETH or BTC first: 1 ETH = ~2,875 ONAM, 1 BTC = ~81,250 ONAM That's a great Way to bring new investor into the market! Many new ones will be finding their way to ONAM making investment to ONAM which is undoubtedly profitable in this narrow market! |

I think right now their trying to make sure everything continues to run smoothly, right now especially at the early stages of this project above all else they want to make sure every customer that joins decides to stay and come back
Well, I think that should be the first thing that any project should worry about in their early stages. The reason why people take on projects is to get and retain a user base. You’re right. Some projects rush into launching the product when it’s not fully ready. First experience matters so much. Also they should keep and open and effective customer service, and get to know user reviews on the exchange. Bitmax here is providing everything they promised in store! And the important thing is its fully operational with no bugs or any irritating Stuff! COOL! |

It will be like paper trading at Onam exchange once MVP is available? That's why they decided to allow members with KYC compliance only?
Paper Trading is not a real trading. You experiment with "play money". And since there is no real money in the game, I would not understand the KYC. But if we can do real trades on the MVP, then a KYC would be logical Paper trading feature available on Onam? That’s would be great. But the KYC process should be scrapped out. I don’t see a need for that. It’s just a way to learn to trade, and it would help noobs to learn and maybe sometime actually trade. Lol, the exchange has always posed itself as one that is compliant with the law, this alone should warrant for KYC, besides it is only inevitable that exchanges ask for KYC. Paper trade is only a feature on the exchange which you can decide to use or not and I see no reason why it should affect KYC. Anyone checked with Onam team at their telegram channel if KYC is really required for MVP testing? MVP is not real trading at exchange so KYC might not required. I have asked earlier and one of the admins told it is required? maybe he misunderstood my question. If the MVP is not actually trading then I guess that KYC shouldn't me mandated. I asked that as well! But admin confirmed we will need to do KYC before using the MVP. Don't know the reason behind this! |

Personally i don't think we're going to see a "real" uptick in the market until mid next year minimum if i had to guess, but that won't stop businesses from operating fiat is fiat, and going from fiat to crypto back to fiat will continue to work, basically this dump is mostly hurting those of us that sit on crypto forever
Looks like there is no stopping. Market is continuously going down. The way falling, It looks like soon all Crypto will become zero  . Not possible and not going to happen. The guys controlling the market know what they are doing. Its just part of a ploy to get enough crypto from the market at a cheaper rate before the pump begins. Yeah, Some big people or groups are manipulating the market now and they always win when they want to have more crypto at a cheaper price they will really going to make it down where most of the people will going to panic. This is what been happening for a while! Those Players will be stocking loads of crypto in their wallet! No doubt a Big wave is coming! Get ready to ride it with TaChain! |

I see MinedBlock will be setting up a Minning Facility from the Money they Rise from ICO.
So what's in it there for a Investor for investing in your exchange ?
they have a good idea. although we have seen a lot of mining projects fall this year due to the inability to raise funds and maintain their facilities.I would advice them to also look for private investors to invest in the project. that way they will be safe. After checking the website i understood they will be distributing profits as reward to token Holder! I dont know how they will be guaranteeing the Reward! |

Market cap reached new low now. For now there is no hope that it will recover in 2018. Negative news keep coming and taking market to new low.
Many bad or negative news are now spreading because the market keep going down and turning red, but for me this kind of happening is normal in crypto world and it's good that different events occur each year as well as the nature of the crypto that we will not always have never been able to predict the events. Cryptomarket is still young and will take time to become mature. Till that time it will keep fluctuating, but it this gives opportunity to buy tokens at lower rate. This is hard time for many people. Almost 70-80% people joined Cryptomarket after last year's bull run. So first time they are seeing something like this. Exactly, I can only imagine how those people will be feeling now. I also really don't know the plans of the market, if it will project forward or backward but one truth is that this has greatly affected crypto projects and ICOs. Crypto just need more years to stabilize, for folks who invested hugely when bitcoin was at around $20,000 my advice is just hodl for couple of years. We all know there's going to be bull run but exactly when seem to be the case. Crypto really need s some stabilization for this kind of project to grow! People are sacred to use this kind of services now! |

I had a quick glance at the withdrawal fees and my word! They are so low for an exchange, judging by the the kind of ridiculous fees we have somehow become accustomed to, these fees from Bitmax is very cheap. This are really ridiculous fees right now as per exchange withdrawal fee I can relate It used to be 0.01 for eth as it is that I use mostly but 0.0025 is a very fair deal to me The least i have seen for a exchange is 0.005eth for a ethereum withdrawal ! Its true they should reduce some fees but they also need to list some coins with low fees lile XLM and XRP! |

Yeah, I'm also curious about it, If they will going to change the HTTPS then what will going to happen to it? They will going to replace it or it will going to be part of them also? I think now it's hard to think about it  I hope that https will not be replaced that way. The security features of https are very important and should be implemented. I have no idea how this works technically, but Cova will find a solution for it Is there any issue with cova replacing https, if it has better features and seems to be more secured than https then it should not be a problem. In technology we have to grow everyday and if cova is better then i would let it replace https. I agree, If Cova will really going to be better than HTTPs in terms of the securities and protections then there's really no reason not to use it. We adopted the HTTPS before I think it will be the same with the COVA if ever it happen. Well that would be interesting to see a blockchain project being adopted As web protocol! Its should be pretty awesome if that happens!! |

Was just over with the team in Telegram and the mvp will coming out later today. You need to KYC for it though. It might be a barrier for some but we will see when it comes to life.
KYC for the MVP? I see that for the first time. Or is the version already so far that we can carry out actual trades? Because only then would I understand a KYC. But now I'm just waiting for the release of the MVP, let's see how strict the KYC is Yeah thats really unexpected to do KYC for Testing MVP! According to team its the basic version of ONAM exchange without the fiat features! |

I’ve noticed that more and more 2018 seems to be the year more serious projects deal with private investments a lot more than they are getting on public ico side which I guess is just where the industry is at
Right now private investors are threatened, the market looks manipulated, some set of small individuals manipulating the whole market doesn't speak too well of the future of cryptocurrency Investing in cryptocurrencies is very risky not. But I think it is less risky for private investors as they get big bonuses. Investing is not risky if the project is known. But if you were a big investor, there is no risky for you to invest in not known projects. lol how can you think if there is no risk for large investors investing in projects that are not known I do not believe if there is no investment that is risky even to invest in gold though There's really a lot of risk in making any investments any known or not projects because we don't know when it will going to become or turn into some scammed project or what will going to happen on it. You have to choose registered projects and the Team working with it! Check on them and verify them to get some cool info! In Bitcointalk we have plenty of volentieer detecting this kind of scam projects! So we really are safe here! |

I really hope we see some real announcements about some companies jumping into the project publically we really need to see some actual names acknoledging the project especially from the advertiser channel side of things.
True actually! Community needs to prepare themselves as well before they jumps right into the product! This No Updates is not helping with this amazjng communit! I am not sure but I think they already have some partner companies with them which is about them tachain team still discussed anything here? They do have a lot of potential partner in mind and they discuss about them noe and then in their Twitter channel! But i dont thing they finalised anything on that just yet! |

they seem to be so busy developing that they forgot about the bi-weekly update. Actually it should have been published 4 days ago. The first 3 updates were very regular. Let's see if it will be released tomorrow. It would be time
