1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you do mining or staking? on: January 26, 2021, 02:03:16 PM
i just want to hear your investing strategy with staking or software mining
I tried software and hardware mining, but overall staking is more profitable
2  Economy / Economics / Re: 2021 not Looking good on: November 30, 2020, 04:56:08 PM
2021 not Looking good!
Only things what could be good are Bitcoin and cryptocurrency
Other things dont look good!
The economy will go lowest i Think.
I dont belive that money printing dream anymore
And I think the Central bankers are same realistic as I am.
Can't disagree and Im not happy about it.
Moreover, a lot of countries rely on USD nowadays, so it will hurt overall world economy, not only US.
Hopefully small and mid businesses will awaken as early as possible to boost economy and provide working places
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum remains the king of altcoins on: October 31, 2020, 12:34:55 PM
We have etherum bossing altcoins since time past and there has been non replica of any coin that has tried bossing etherum
Just like bitcoin is a king on its own, etherum remains a king on its own too.
Looking forward to the influence of bnb tokens, and okb tokens can have on etherum dominance.
No coin/company will be greater than ethereum as long as it don't give life to that many projects.
Ethereum's impact on crypto market and crypto adoption is incomprehensible
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNISWAP (UNI) is driving me CRAZY!! on: September 22, 2020, 01:41:54 AM
It feels great to be a part of this great reward, I am so happy I also got sine portion of UNI token. I feel for those that have not use uniswap before September 1st. I want to encourage everyone not to relent, we might have such airdrop in the future. Congratulation to OP for that huge reward.
There are two types of people on this forum - those who believe it could happen again with uniswap and those who think such things won't happen twice in this universe  Cheesy
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple the next bitcoin? on: September 07, 2020, 08:48:56 AM
As we all have seen ripple has been quite strong these past few days and with all that it has done over the past months compared to most other currencies and the launch of xrapid is actually starting to show in its price.
There is so much talk about ripple taking over bitcoin and being 10$ what are your thoughts on this?
Its been 2 years since xrp hit $0,5 last time and you're talking about it being bullish?
It is literally the same as it was back in the days before 2017 crypto boom and even then it didn't hit $5.
Why on earth it would hit $10 right now all of a sudden?
Bizarre.
If you're looking after big profits - go dig deep into uniswap or some alt market
6  Economy / Economics / Re: What Role Will Crypto Play During ‘The Great Reset?’ on: August 24, 2020, 08:34:09 AM
Bitcoin will take a long time to become centralized Many countries do not yet support Bitcoin. the demand for crypto has increased a lot during the epidemic crisis. Crypto is not under the control of the government but the economy is in crisis due to the epidemic but crypto has no effect. Many people have been able to overcome this crisis very easily by working in crypto investing as a method of payment is also holding for the future.
Well, crypto affected economy anyway, the market itself is almost as big as some smallest countries and a lot of fiat holdings now flood into crypto.
And your second point - a person wouldn't be able to easily overcome current crysis just by investing in crypto, especially long-term.
Lets take a look at average person that has ~$2k of crypto investments + added $1,2k of support payed to most US citizens. So since may total crypto investment portfolio would be now like $5-6k, if we're talking about early april-may investment.
AND a person shouldn't take any of it 'til this day. Thus being said you have to have at least spare $3k in the spring + available money to live through past half of the year.
This isn't realistic, you have to be wealthy for this to work out
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Take profit on: August 11, 2020, 06:51:24 AM
I am not in favour of lending the coins you have on some platforms for the interest. I had rather create a master node and stake my coins in it provided I am confident that I have invested in the right coin.
Yeah, agreed. Its more likely to be safe there, staking compared to lending.
Because crypto does not provide any safety to crypto users - its all on our side, its all about your own decisions
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AltcoinDaily.io Youtube channel removed on: August 01, 2020, 06:18:18 AM
They are hitting the wrong birds on these, do we have another crackdown or what, it seems to go that way they should have explain first why they are approving ads about scam and fake giveaways, these are all wrong, anyway they the owners of the channel can still request for reinstatement.
Unfortunately, the issue is way bigger than ban of one particular channel and you know it already.
This thing with ads was insane and way back before, like couple months earlier there were a lot of bans of crypto related channels on youtube for literally no reason
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much you earn in bounty hunting for the year 2019-2020 on: July 24, 2020, 04:11:12 PM
During 2019-2020 I have now not produced anything from a bounty campaign. Yes, I did quit the campaign a long time after the market crash that occurred in 2018. Many projects but I think not many were successful. I chose to trade in the crypto market instead of working on a campaign.
Same story here. I don't see much value in bounty hunting anymore. Especially during current time when market is developing rapidly - you can short daily and get a lot of profit. Or you can predict long term motion if you don understand how things work here.
Both of these options are better than bounties imo
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Crypto Jobs 2020 on: July 08, 2020, 02:57:17 PM
These jobs are only applicable in certain countries due to the lack of knowledge of different countries to venture into the Cryptocurrency Industry. Jobs relating to Cryptocurrency or Blockchain Technology would be really helpful if they are backed by the government because it needs to run well for it to help the countries economic status.
You surely are right, however we should understand how young this industry actually is.
Its literally been 10 years and compared to our overall history is damn nothing
Give it some time to develop more jobs
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have some funds to invest-- How do I make a good decision? on: June 24, 2020, 05:46:54 PM
Top alts together with bitcoin are really good for long term holdings, if you are looking for much higher rewards and you wanted to maximized your gains
investing with top 10 alts lessen your time from keep monitoring your assets.
Buy while the price are cheap then keep it while waiting for your target price before selling your assets. Keep in mind that bitcoin will pumped first then it will be followed by known alts with good numbers of supporters.
they are Probably good long term investments and do require less time to check them if they're "alive" (as if it was with most non-top alts)
the biggest advice for a newbie - do as much research, make your own decisions, stick to them to get your lesson
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is becoming legal in my country! Any business idea? on: June 08, 2020, 05:41:28 PM
Hello all,
Cryptocurrency is becoming legal in my country, Albania. The government will make some laws to regulate the crypto in my country in September (god knows what).
Is anyone here that can give me any businesses idea? Or our gold time will be over after that?
Thanks!!
Personally, I don't believe that you could make a good crypto business if you hadn't one ever at all.
However, you could partner with an existing company - offering them to open some sort of crypto department (wallet/exchange or whatever), you offer exactly legal reistration of their department in your country where it will be legal at the time.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: where are you spending your time now? on: May 29, 2020, 02:53:11 PM
I'm using this quarantine period for reading books, which I bought long back and kept side without reading them. I almost completed 5 books related to life, adventure, contemporary.

Now reading books became my habit and also I have listed some books which I have to read. As I'm from the Philippines, One of my friends suggested buying books from National Book Store, Philippines. They have best collection of books with discounted prices.
I was reading a lot of books lately too, but I am not too concerned about how often I read, but mostly about what I read.
Honestly its way easier to read something fiction, but I am concentrating on self education now so no fiction for me
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have now 3 ETH, when ETH 2.0 (proof of stake) is out , do i will lose my 3 ETH on: May 13, 2020, 02:55:27 PM

I have 3 ETH now , do when ETH updated to 2.0 , i will lose my 3 ETH ?
Your money will be converted, lol. You have funny thoughts.
there still are a lot of people in crypto who thinks its all a big shaky piece of scam going on
it is a young industry so no wonder it is like that

anyway, I hope eth2.0 will be out asap
15  Economy / Economics / Re: The positive impact ~ on: May 01, 2020, 06:49:42 AM
Small businesses in my hometown are the most affected because the government focuses on the bigger companies for the needed economic boost, so I can't agree that small businesses will flourish maybe some fully established small businesses will survive if they offer essential services to community that is. Another positive impact of this pandemic is the pollution in all aspects are greatly reduced and for me this is a good thing, this serves as a breather for our planet and to us humans too, reminding us that we should take a break once in a while, this also could help people if not many meditate and reflect what they did on their life so far.
I do agree about pollution impact - I can already feel it and it is way nicer to breath out there.
btw I think this pandemic has pushed every company to work remotely and it will remain this way for many companies even after pandemic is over
plus I know for sure that even tho many people were fired, I've seen a lot of companies restructured their expenses by hiring remote workers with decent skills, but with lower salary
so the economy shifted to some place we don't know it could
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cartesi is now listed in Binance on: April 24, 2020, 09:59:59 AM
Just heard about this when creepts game competition and never joined on their camps but does they distribute their bounty payments already? If that's the case expect for a dump since for sure the hunters will dump what they got from the camp and this is bad for investor who thinks to enter the scene.
Maybe will check later on for possible good phase to enter  Grin
They havent distributed bounty rewards yet. They will distribute 1/3 in 30 days after sales start, next 1/3 in 60 days after sales start and last part in 90 days. Even though bounty hunter hold very small amount of tokens (as I remember bounty campaign budget was $15k in tokens aka 0.1% of total supply), as usually, when the price drops, hunters will be the one to blame.
we hope they will distribute anything eventually.
I've seen so many coin and tokens with bright future and great plans, but they've gone into the void
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: April 10, 2020, 02:05:44 PM
Make sure you care, it's your money that is in the wallet, if that wallet provider is not reputable, please avoid using it, that's the way to protect your coins.
People do care, but they trust different things. Some of us trust only ourselves, which is the whole concept behind Bitcoin but NOT unfortunately the whole concept behind 90% of crypto that requires you to trust them, the company or the issuer. And to be fair, if I couldn't trust myself and my knowledge of bitcoin I'd probably also want someone else to keep my coins for me. Hence why people go to seek out wallets they feel can take care of their funds for them.
Thus being said I hope there will be more ease in learning new about crypto.
It still is a hard concept to understand (and to explain) for most of the people.
If more people would understand what crypto really is - there will be less users of centralized /online hot wallets for sure.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Oil price War will Bring real War soon in Middle east on: April 01, 2020, 08:35:20 AM
IMO, if the oil prices plunge then the chances of war should decrease. The Saudis are able to make their multi-billion USD defense purchases, only when the oil prices are high. If the brent crude plunges below $20 per barrel and stays there for a few months, then these people would be forced to cut back on their foreign interventions (especially the invasion of neighboring Yemen).
And I personally don't understand how oil price could lead to the war
I mean these countries which rely on oil won't be satisfied with price and get too angry so will attack?
but thats a big loss of value to attack anyone, so I highly doubt that will happen after all
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AIR DROPS ! wasting time or not? on: March 26, 2020, 08:44:28 AM
Airdrops aren't always waste of time, it depends on how good you are with them, the easiest way if detecting a good Airdrops is to watch the rating on top Airdrops platforms like airdropalert or airdropbob, if it's rated 5 starts it's probably because it's listed on coinmarketcap and it's trading
I never believed in sites like that. They work transparently and make false judgments, I have participated in a lot of airdrops from their website but as a result, no project has been really successful. And they never send tokens to my wallet
Have same experience here. Participated in several airdrops and none of them payed me anything. I might be just unlucky, so there is another good reason not to waste anything on airdrops: they're most certainly scamming us for data.
Most of the time in order to join the airdrop you have to send your wallet number and do other actions which may include sharing some of your info, this is fd up since they're not paying off in 70% of the time
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Good news for bitcoin from India, should other countries also follow the suit? on: March 17, 2020, 11:02:39 AM
maybe their start accept cryptocurrency because they see the opportunity with crypto.
as we know crypto not just use for payment or currency but aslo for investing, and it will give impact to economy that country if they can wait in longterm.
so this is good choice to start accept crypto. we need more like this in other country who still not accept BTC.
At this point most countries are afraid to make unnecessary moves so it would be quite hard to convince adopt cryptos.
However they (countries) don't understand how crypto can attract new investments which is obviously good for economy
