im still confused with these people say mining is not profitable.

Half of my mining funds go to electric every month. The rest help pay back for equipment. Hold the btc you mine and sell it today the following year. On top of that you still have the equipment to sell off.

most companies are working in upgrade solutions for there equipment

also the network has reached a point where it will be very difficult to make another large network jump into the petahash range. i.e. bitcoin is more stable...

There are two things incorrect on bitcoin mining calculators. One is the difficulty assumption and two is the fixed coin price. Both of these are assumed variables.

variables

If you are now already paying half of your mining funds, your risk is really high. But if the difficulty halt then you still have a good chance to ROI. Its like gamble!!..
3  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Beta] MyBitMine.co | New Type Of Faucet | Get Bitcoin From Playing on: November 21, 2014, 12:47:31 PM
Joined the game. I am a fan on MMORPG text based game. i liked the concept But it's a really slow one. There should be some extra activities that the user can do while they wait. If you can Make it more like a game than a faucet, in that way people will enjoy it.

Yup, really slower then expected..

Just set my 10 year old daughter up with an LTCgear account.   I sold her 100 shares for .1 BTC and she has to pay me in one year.    Wink   The deal isn't available to anyone else.   Grin

She can just pay you back 0.1 BTC in like few months..

14  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Wanting to get serious about mining, tips? on: November 01, 2014, 07:43:26 AM
Hello, I am pretty new to the world of bitcoin and I understand how it works and how just using my regular old gaming PC isn't going to get me anywhere in mining. But I came here to ask what are some great ways to get started mining bitcoins seriously? Electricity bill isn't a problem for me. I heard that there are these computers you can buy called miners and was also wondering if they are any good and if they are what is a good one to get? Thanks!

When you say electricity bill isn't a problem, your landlord pay for you?

Don't mine. You could not get your investment back almostly.
It's a game for big company now.

This is the real answer, don't mine cause you won't make back your investment.
