By the way, I am just wondering, all you guys use the same script? I mean there must be some API controlled centrally for all sports betting sites.
I'm not actually sure; I can check with our sportsbook team but I'm not sure if i'll be allowed to disclose details. Leave it with me! I just noticed there's a bunch of people who still haven't made their pick for the first match - don't forget to get it in before Thursday! I've already locked in my picks for round one: England v South Africa Pick: England (Comfortable win) West Indies v Pakistan Pick: West Indies (Narrow win) New Zealand v Sri Lanka Pick: New Zealand (Comfortable win) Afghanistan v Australia Pick: Australia (Easy win) South Africa v Bangladesh Pick: South Africa (Comfortable win) England v Pakistan Pick: England (Comfortable win) Anyone else already locked in? Great to see we are up to 15 members! I just got New Zealand in the office pool so not feeling too confident about that one Despite the delays our outright markets for the tournament winners are finally up (thanks to @Deadley for giving me the ammo needed to push harder!) Plus we have a wide range of specials, including stage of elimination, top batsmen and bowlers, etc: Let me know if there's anything missing you'd like to bet on and I'll pass the request along to our teams! @deadley - We were experiencing some issues with rejections over the weekend that have since been solved by our teams, hopefully you shouldn't run into the same problem again. If you do then please drop me a DM and I'll chase the issue with our sportsbook team leaders.
@andrefgf89 - I've just received an update that your checks are complete, you should be able to log into your account as usual. Apologies again for the delay.
Thanks,
Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Morning all, hope you had a great weekend! Firstly, thanks to all the kind people who have stopped by to provide feedback on our services - it's much appreciated! @deadley - I was pretty frustrated to see that the outright markets are still not available when I checked first thing this morning, I've already contacted our sportsbook team and stressed that these need to go up as soon as possible due the tournament starting soon. I'll post here and in the CWC pool thread as soon as I have a response, apologies for the inconvenience in the meantime. @andrefgf89 - I'm sorry for the delays, I've already flagged your issue with our support team leaders who are currently investigating. They will get back to you ASAP with a response. Thanks very much, Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Are you joining the pool @Onehash? I'd be up for taking on a fellow sportsbook! I just read an interesting article about the 'dirty dozen' match fixers and how the tournament organisers are trying to ensure that they are kept away from players: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/cricket/9147704/england-cricket-dirty-dozen-fixers-corrupt-world-cup/I'd be surprised to see this kind of thing going on in arguably the biggest tournament of the year, but the money on offer can do strange things to people's morals. The Pakistan team looked a little bit indecisive today at bat, was expecting Imam-ul-Haq and Zaman to do a bit better but Azam stepped up when needed. I don't know if they are going to have the power and drive to keep up with teams like England and India though. Here's my picks for the warm-up games tomorrow: England v Australia- Joseph Root: Total runs Over 37.5 (1.92) - England Total Runs after 15 overs: Over 79.5 (1.63) - Team with Top Scoring Batsman: England (1.72) India v New Zealand- Team with Top Scoring Batsman: India (1.68) - Total runs India (1st Wicket): Over 37.5 (1.93) - Virat Kohli: Total runs Over 46.5 (1.92) What are your thoughts? I'm really looking forward to watching the England game tomorrow - hopefully with a BBQ and a beer if the weather stays kind Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Good News everyone! We are on course to offer the best odds, lowest margins, and highest limits on most major sporting events this summer! What do low margins mean? We’ll have the best price amongst our competitors, and when you place a winning bet, you’ll take home more with Cloudbet! For example, for the Champions League Final, we’ll have margins as low as 2.5% on the overall winner market! Check out the full list of events below, or visit the Cloudbet blog for the full details of this sumptuous summer of sportsbook action! See any events we have missed that you'd like to bet on? Let me know and I'll pass on the request to our sportsbook teams! Have a great day! Ronnie @ Cloudbet

maybe to celebrate bitcoin pizza day, it should be a historic national moment on Bitcointalk by adding special ornaments like April Fool. Merit can turn into pizza slices for the day, so we can share cheesy treats with deserving forum members Ronnie @ Cloudbet

@hugeblack - I was just about to create a thread to celebrate this glorious day when I noticed you beat me to it! We've created an infographic to get a pizza the action, with a few fun facts about what that kind of dough would buy today! Bonus fact: Unfortunately for Jercos (the recipient of the 10,000 BTC) this took place before the infamous I AM HODLING thread, and he sold his coins when the value rose by 10x a short while later for just $410 Who knew how much the price would grow over the next 9 years! What would you do with 10,000 BTC these days? I'd be on the beach of my private island somewhere scarfing down pizza and champagne (served by my robot butler OFC). Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Good morning all! @BlackFor3st - Thanks for the kind words! If there's any improvements to our service you'd like to see then just let me know and I'll pass it on up the chain! @TopTort777 - We should have news on the our next competition soon, the plans are drawn up and I'm just awaiting sign off on the budget before getting everything finalised! I'm hoping to run at least one competition monthly so you should never have too long to wait @deadley - This one i'm not sure about, but I'll pass on the question to our sportsbook team and get a response for you ASAP. I'm already super excited for the World Cup pool to start In other news, today is a special one within the crypto community - it's 🍕 Bitcoin Pizza Day 🍕! On this day 9 years ago the first bitcoin pizza purchase was offered, right here on the bitcointalk forums. BCT member laszlo posted to offer 10,000 BTC in exchange for 2 large pizzas. At the time BTC was valued at just $0.0041, making for an attractive prospect for the seller - $41 in bitcoin for $25 worth of pizza! At first no one seemed interested; it wasn't until four days later when laszlo updated the thread to report his success! Fellow crypto enthusiast Jercos accepted the offer via IRC chat and had the pizzas delivered to our brave protagonist. Looking at today's prices the transaction seems absurd, with 10,000 BTC having a seriously life-changing amount of value ($79,550,000 at the time of writing!). Unfortunately for Jercos this was before the infamous I AM HODLING thread, and he sold his coins when the value rose by 10x a short while later for just $410 - a good return at the time, but probably pretty rage-inducing for the poor guy when looking back! Check out the infographic below for more fun facts surrounding the most expensive pizza purchase in history, or click to read more at the Cloudbet blog. Will you be celebrating with a Pizza order today? Or perhaps making your own? The battle over choice of toppings has already begun raging in the office (it's 2019 and people still want to put pineapple on pizza ) Have a great day! Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Woo up to 11 now! Can't wait for the tourney to start! Unfortunately It doesn't look like we will be able to sponsor this one, our sportsbook team have something pretty big planned and I don't want to step on their toes. I'll share their awesome promotion as soon as it's announced publicly, I think it will be of interest to most people here! What I can do with my own small goodwill prize budget is give out free spins and sportsbook bonuses for some of our pool members here over the course of the competition - maybe rewards for the top weekly player, exact predictions, etc? Open to suggestions here! Ronnie @ Cloudbet
