the spies are angry they got spied upon and humiliated. Their anger is very funny. However, if one random guy can do that thing, so can the chinese. Perhaps the same NSA secrets have been in the hands of foreign governments all along?

After mining successfully for some time, now it seems impossible to have 3 280x cards in my miner. The mobo and one card is powered by a 500w PSU and the two other cards are powered by a 750w PSU.
Is this problem caused by power usage through the PCI slot overburdening the 500W PSU? Would this be fixed if I get a molex powered riser cable and connect to the 750w PSU?

The solution (of sorts): once I switched from Xubuntu to BAMT there was no longer any problem. The reason for this totally eludes me, but I am somewhat of a Linux noob and getting a miner up and running was taxing my abilities by itself.

8GB ram seems to be sufficient for this task. I'll do as you suggest and we'll see what happens. Thanks for the thinking everyone.

Would this work? I've been wondering about these eBay auctions and who wins the disputes; obviously there are a lot of shady people around.
Who wins the disputes is the buyer, especially if the discussion is about a cascasius coin that is opened/closed or bitcoins that are sent/not sent.

Why would some rich entrepreneurs like them not feel the same way about BTC that we do?

You sure about crossfire? I heard that would make hashrate suffer. However, if both GPU's start working to near capacity that's better than nothing I guess.

750w. But this is not the problem. I had a spare PSU activated and connected to just the second card. No difference.

I have set up a mining computer that functions well with one GPU. However, when I add a second GPU, the machine crashes. When going down to basic settings, cgminer recognizes both cards and seemingly starts mining, but total hashrate is the same as the hashrate for one card. Moreover, shutting down either card does not have any effect at all. The temperature of GPU1 stays close to room temperature as well. Does anyone have an idea what can be wrong?

I am now using google authenticator for one site. How do I configure a set of keys for several sites?

On the localbitcoins page there is a risk level of 'medium' for SEPA payments. Does anyone have experience with scams using bank transfers (and thus chargebacks)?

The USD is the most used currency, however, it is inconvenient for individuals in the EU to obtain USD to trade with. They probably all deposit euros. However, the magnitude of trading in USD is so much greater that I have to conclude euro users must be converting to dollars and then trade on the exchange. This may even have pushed the exchange rate slightly down inside BTC-E compared to bank rates.

The number of bitcoin users outside the US outnumber those inside by a wide margin and the big exchanges are all located outside the US. How come the volume of BTC trades in USD is so much greater than the trades in EUR? Do EU people convert to USD before margin trading on an exchange?

I understand the graph as shown by btc-e has the following info:
* volume of trades (the bar height) * value of BTC (the height of the red and green blocks) * the variation in buy and sell value (the actual size of the red and green blocks including the black line)
however, what is the meaning of the red and green color? I would think green means up and red means down but sometimes there is a red block higher than the previous block.
