2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IDAX Crypto Exchange Confirms CEO Dissappearance with Cold Wallet Keys on: December 01, 2019, 05:29:29 PM
Here's the reason we should not store our assets on exchange, like this news

According to the article it could be a type of exit plan.
This can be happened in any exchanges. There are many ways to lose our funds this is the one example.

I don't think an exchange that all of us know that they fake trading volume like IDAX has such a large amount of money in a cold wallet. According to their latest announcement, I think IDAX CEO exit scam. They are very suspicious when not long ago been accused of fraudulent projects listing IEO on their exchange.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The only one way to always get your tokens after bounty ends on: December 01, 2019, 05:22:56 PM
Everybody is complaining about bounty projects that failed to pay bounty hunters after bounty ends, these projects are not fake and they are trading with good volume on exchanges, they intentionally ignore hunters, there are few others that pays half of the bounty hunters and forget the rest, i feel your pain and anger but i think you should consider my thought, follow good bounty managers on this forum and you will always get paid, among good bounty managers i 100% trust arteezy and bubbalex, i don't know how they always do it but hunters always get paid, seem they take their job very serious, most projects that don't pay hunters are from new bounty managers or self managed by the project teams.

Do make sure you do your research though, sometimes not all projects from good bounty managers are legit.
Yes, but some projects from them is still do their promise. Bounty manager is just the person responsible for managing and calculating the stakes for the bounty, and all the rest such as the number of allocated tokens and the time of allocation is the decision of the project team. Prestigious BMs will find truly legit projects, so hunters will feel safe joining those bounty campaigns.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HEX, worth it? on: November 30, 2019, 03:19:10 AM
Hello, have you heard about upcoming airdrop to all BTC holders? HEX is going to airdrop 10 000HEX tokens for every 1BTC that you hold in your private wallet.
There is a big hype around it, someone say that is a scam, someone that is a legit project with interesting returns.
What are your thoughts about it?  Smiley
This airdrop for BTC holders seem like so quiet, compare with many Bitcoin fork events before like BCH, BTG, etc. I have look through their website and I can say that this is a legit project. All you need to do is just hold BTC in your private wallet. So there is nothing to worry about it.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $16M in Stolen Ethereum from Upbit Were Just Transferred on: November 29, 2019, 04:55:14 PM
This is a crazy story. This morning I also heard that IDAX owner ran away with cold wallet keys. Not very sure where the whole crypto is moving. By seeing all these bad things, crypto market will not survive for long.
Yes, so many FUDs this time. Many China exchanges's office was shut down in their country because of police, IDAX's CEO run away, and now Upbit was hacked but for me 50 mil will not effect too much to ETH price. We can see BTC is pumping and reach $ 7k8 now.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it time to buy Basic Attention Token (BAT)? on: November 29, 2019, 04:44:15 PM
In my view investment in BAT is a good decision.BAT team trying to develop their project.they are accepted in brave browser and now planning to mozilla firefox. Which is good move.If you buy BAT now you are going to make profit from BAT.

BAT has a potential token in the future. A brave browser, many users mean many believe in BAT tokens and invest there, I only have a few BAT tokens for the future and if there is a new step in my BAT token analysis maybe I will add more to my investment.
Yes, but currently BAT have a large market cap (around 300 mil USD) meaning it will have fewer chances to pump its price in the future than the medium market cap coins. But it appears to be a safe investment option because of its significant user base. I'm using Brave everyday instead of chrome, because of the ad blocking ability as well as it's lighter.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins got rekt big time! on: November 28, 2019, 04:34:34 PM
I agree, there should be development, new projects should be born. But! Now the teams of new crypto projects need to try very hard to attract investors. The days of easy money are over. And it's good for the crypto industry. Only really strong and useful projects will be able to attract people and have success.
Yes, as you said, the glory day of easy money is completely over. We are witnessing the daily maturity of the crypto market. Projects that are weak and uncompetitive will be eliminated, instead being more realistic projects, with many use cases as well as the significant amount of users.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners, don't give up yet. Bitcoin can't do it alone. on: November 28, 2019, 04:30:16 PM
I think this is partly due to the fact that the prices of most Altcoins still depend too much on the price of BTC, so every time BTC fluctuations affect the entire market. In the future, when all altcoins have trading pairs with stable coins, I think they will not be as much dependent on BTC as they are now.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins got rekt big time! on: November 27, 2019, 03:36:47 PM
The last month, never mind the last few days, have been rather trying for cryptocurren Bitcoin, at the head of the ecosystem, has fallen substantially, but overall, it is the smaller cryptos, with lower market caps, that appear to have taken the brunt of the bearish turn.

Bitcoin’s own market dominance has been falling in the past few months, almost its price. However, the threat of an altcoin season has far from been realized, as BeInCrypto has previously touched on. In fact, it was pointed out by cryptocurrency analyst Joseph Young (@iamjosephyoung), that the smaller market cap coins have been hit the hardest in this latest drop.

Source link here

It looks like the altcoin season might take a very long while to happen. We are now in the “shitcoin” season. Do you agree guys?

No doubt that these shitcoins are coming from failed and scammy projects. I honestly believe that 99% of these projects have failed and silently abandoned.

I have encountered a lot of these, like after these projects have finished their token sale and distribution, they would slowly start to get quiet until fully abandoned. It is why these abandoned shitcoin Telegram groups are now full of spam advertisements.

The cycle continues, and it is difficult for others to stop their scamming tactics. I honestly believe we do not need new altcoins anymore, as they would end up getting dragged down after listing in exchanges. Most of us would prefer converting our altcoins into Bitcoin or Ethereum, as the future of altcoins (turning into shitcoins later on) are definitely uncertain.
But for me, one of the reasons that attracts investors to this market and inflow is the new projects. Investors expect the project, its technology and new ideas, and many hope the price of the token will pump after listing. So new projects will be launched, no matter how bad the market is.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Upbit exchange was hacked. 342,000 ETH lost on: November 27, 2019, 03:06:58 PM
I have yet to see any negative effect of this FUD news on ETH price. I don't know why Upbit store such a huge amount of money in hot wallet, then got hacked. Recently, there has been a continuous FUD on crypto, it seems that by the end of this year, the market has not been able to break out of the bear market.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to Expect in the Cryptocurrency Market Forecast by 2020? on: November 26, 2019, 05:25:02 PM
The only big news we can know right now is BTC halving in May next year. However, this is only for BTC, in addition, I have not seen any good news for other altcoins. The news about many enterprises applying blockchain tech have been released a lot in the year, but it seems that it has not brought much effect to the market.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose DEX? How to avoid scam? on: November 24, 2019, 01:16:18 PM
For me the true DEX is just Etherdelta and Forkdelta. IDEX now require KYC verification and limit your withdrawals, so it became a CEX I thought.
The other option is the DEX on EOS blockchain, but It seems that quite a few people know and use it.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listed exchange matters on: November 24, 2019, 12:55:23 PM
For every bounty hunters who are tired of new bounty projects that ends up been a total garbage after they are listed on exchange pls do find yourself some time and do research on past bounty projects because the Exchange they used for IEO matters alot, that exchange is where they will list after bounty ends, i haven't seen a bounty project that get listed on Kucoin and Gate that is not profitable, in terms of good volume or even 2x+

I have learnt a lesson here again, have you? top exchange matters especially in this bear market, look at all the bounties listed on p2pb2b, exmarket etc  Cheesy
Of course, It is a top priority when we want to choose a bounty campaign to join. But as you can see, in the last two years, almost no or no projects have bounty that is listed on Binance (the only case I know is Harmony). It's a hard time for the whole market, and bounty hunters are no exception.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Here’s How Much of Each Major Altcoin Is Owned by Whales on: November 23, 2019, 07:01:33 PM
Thank for your value information, and according to this statistic LTC and USDT is more centralized than other coins, that's why we saw many waves of LTC this year. Currently the market is very different from before, good projects we have very few opportunities to be able to buy it at a cheap price. So owning such a large amount of coins is not easy at all.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Three Million USDC Freshly Minted Likely Another Whale Looking to Buy the Dip on: November 23, 2019, 06:19:56 PM
So, we should wait for a nice pump?
I think 3 mil USDC is not enough this time, but as the article say, may be it's just the minted asset of a whale. I saw many times when Tether printing hundreds of millions of USDT, but right after that was a flash dump of the whole market. And currently seem like the market is moving like that.
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 4 reasons why Bitcoin has bottomed out on: November 22, 2019, 05:11:43 PM
According to the Parabolic curve, the price of Bitcoin will soon return to the price of $ 6k and bounce from there. The price of Bitcoin has just continued to decline, showing that the seller is very strong for 2 days and this decline will continue until the price of Bitcoin reaches a bottom. We should watch at $ 6k5 or $ 6k3 and buy gradually, then hold and wait for the market to grow again.
Yes, you can see now BTC's price bounced back again $ 7k1, but for me 6k7~6k9 will be the last bottom of BTC before it go to the next bull run. This time some fake news as well as fake FUD was published to make higher sell pressure, but in the end of this year maybe many good news will come out.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 4 reasons why Bitcoin has bottomed out on: November 22, 2019, 09:47:43 AM
Bitcoin just crashed from $8,000 down to $7,500 and has been on an almost permanent downtrend since you made this thread.

Why not close it now, and admit you were horribly wrong, and that all your TA was complete nonsense?
TA is usually just a prediction, so it could be wrong. But take a look at his long term trendline, it seems to be true when the price of BTC is correcting to the $ 6k ~ 7k range. I still believe in the next parabol move of BTC.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XLM] Stellar - Decentralized trading platform on: November 22, 2019, 09:32:13 AM
Hi all, is Solar wallet a safe wallet for XLM if i can't save XLM for now on hardware wallet? I reffer to wallet from Stellar website, here is link ?
Yes, if it was recommended on the offical Stellar website, you can use it safely. If you can't use a cold wallet, you can use web wallets like Stellarport, which is easy to create and monitor. But if you have a large amount of XLM, a hardware wallet is the safest way to store your asset.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters do not need to wait for altcoin season on: November 21, 2019, 02:57:46 PM
IMO, we can say that almost bounty hunters depended on altcoin season, and when the market go down like over 2 years, only BTC can survive, very few new projects can be launched and raised fund. This time some projects still have bounty program, but you can see their allocation is limited, and the tasks are also very difficult. All we need to do now is waiting for a better market condition.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 21, 2019, 10:01:01 AM
It's sad to say that most of the altcoins you hold are down more than 90% in value and have no hope of recovery. If you want HODL, you must always check the status of the project, the activities of the community and the project team, whether they are operating in the right roadmap. If one of these is missing, you need to sell it immediately. I think you are too subjective and lacking in knowledge when not carefully examining those projects and keeping them up till now, and losing a lot of money.
