41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Biostar teasing motherboard with 104 USB risers support for mining on: August 09, 2017, 03:18:30 PM
i just saw this also on vidcardz lol wich system will support this many gpus i bet you need more than a celeron and a bunch of ram and if one gpu fails whole system could freeze in my eyes its not a so good idea but who knows maybe this can be the future of mining we will see...
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethash DAG epoch RX470/480/570/580 FIX !! on: August 06, 2017, 09:57:41 AM
4 me afterburner is not working if i set something in afterburner my gpu gets set to 300mhz ram/core speeds insane slow than hehe so its not working maybe cause i use windows 7 x64 only the settings in claymore work but voltage is not working in claymore
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethash DAG epoch RX470/480/570/580 FIX !! on: August 06, 2017, 04:26:52 AM
it worked 4 me on my asus strix rx 470 4gb elpedia memory 1850 mhz back to 27-28 mhs was down to 25,5 mhs .... problem is there is no good overclocking tool available vor the newest beta driver tryed the newses afterburner beta 4.4.0 beta 12 but no effect on the gpu drivers and with claymore i can set core speeds and memclocks but the voltage control has no effect in claymore so the crad pulls alot of energy and starts to throttle after 5 mins of mining and then the speed gets slower than with old drivers 16.11.5 cause there i can undervolt.... so for me the new drivers from amd are a step back lol what the hell do they think they are they cant ignore the mining market anymore its damin huge and they make alot of money must feel good for them after years of looses... hehe still nvidia is the king the cards are more durable and stable and you dont need to babysitting them like you have to with your amd cards hehe
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: how you OC all cards in rig? on: July 03, 2017, 04:17:37 PM
with elpedia 27 mhs is ok its not the best but its ok 30 mhs with elpedia is not easy to get most cards stuck on 1900 memory elpedia i have some that can get 1950 but 2000 i only get with hynix and some samsung memory

46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: KFA2 GeForce GTX 1070 EX 8GB on: June 30, 2017, 11:52:23 AM
i have 2 of those kfa2 1070 ex overclocked them to +190 core and +740 mem clock and 85% powerlimit getting around 480 to 500 soll in zec and about 30,5 mhs ethereum in dualmining with sia dcri set to 60 no impact on ethash... its a good card for the price its 100€ cheaper here than a 1070 from msi gigabyte and so on ... only contra is 1 8 pin + 1 6pin power connector so if you build a rig be sure to have enough pcie power connectors i also so have some gigabyte 7x 1070 2 fan oc version this card has only 1 8 pin connector and does almost the same hashrate than kfa2 1070 ex with same overclocking... sorry 4 bad english
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX 1070 improvement on: June 01, 2017, 06:13:45 PM
i find 1070 being very touchy about temps...dont see anything like this with 1080ti

That's why you bump up the fan profile - ALL recent video cards prioritise "quiet" over "cool", with the early EVGA 1070 models being a POINTED example in going way too far that direction to the point they were having some of them fail due to overheating BECAUSE the fan profile had the fans running so slow they couldn't respond to load spikes fast enough.

1080ti tend to have better fan profiles to start with because the makers *KNOW* they are going to generate a lot more heat so they bumped the fan speeds up a lot higher to start with than on a 1070 - and if you pay attention you will note that most makers have the SAME cooling solution available on their 1070 models as on their 1080 and 1080ti solutions, except for some of the LOW END 1070 models with cooling solutions that can't handle a 1080Ti at all.

IMO any miner that doesn't have the fans on his GPUs running at 90% or more by the time the card gets to 80C (and preferably 70-75) is DEMANDING to have their card overheat and die.

As far as "most 1070 can do over 31Mh/s" - I call BULLSHIT on that one, NONE of mine have ever managed more than 30 no matter HOW HARD I pushed clocks, even at 180 watts much less 95.
ETH depends WAY too much on low memory latency, and that VARIES WIDELY depending on the brand and sometimes the specific chips of the memory in a card.

 Mining ETH on a 1070 isn't a lost cause.
It IS still very profitable, much more so since the recent ETH price runup, just LESS so than other options.

NVidia-SMI is nice, but I've seen it get confused and "off" often enough that I don't trust it to be entirely correct.

Ok so I dont mine ETH, but i switched and setup my cards just for you. Here is the screenshot of my 7x1070 rig. And please do not talk bullshit to people just because of your extremely low knowledge of the nvidia cards ( judging from your previous posts where you are lost tbh). Just for your knowledge rising TDP will not give you any more MH/s in eth.
http://imgur.com/a/oX9Wl

Oh and one more thing, calculating profitability of nvidia cards based on zcash or eth is wrong. Every day you mine zcash or eth or any other default coin on what to mine you are loosing your ROI to AMD cards.

lol your screenshot is funny 1 minute of mining if i try that i can get 34 mhs out of the 1070 but after 20 seconds it crashes i bet your system will freeze after some time wahts your clock speeds and undervolting settingsyou do that at 950mv @ 2100 mhz ~ 4400 mhz ram more than 29 is not stable 4 me sry 4 my bad english hehe
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Road to RX 570/580 7 GPU MINING RIG on: May 21, 2017, 04:14:20 PM
here is my way how i did it with 7 rx 470 first install windows in uefi mode using onboard grapics with a usb pen created with rufus be sure you update your bios to version 1.7...

ok if windows installed connect 4 gpus and let windows boot ddisable onboard graphics now and connect monitor to gpu in windows disable updates be sure windows doesnt install its own radeon driver windows tryes to install 17.1.1 wich will not allow modded bios so i managed to disable windows update service and manually installed 16.11.5 beta wich is the last driver wich allows modded bios so it installed the 4 gpus the next reboot enable 4g decode in bios and set pcie to gen1 then windows will boot with 7 cards and the cards gets installed by windows automatic ... after next reboot you have 7 cards... i wasnt able to get it to work with newest drivers all of my cards have modded bios so no way found now cause it gets always code 43 after ati patcher i can only get 4 crads installed but you have to disable 4 g decoding so 4 crads gets installed listet with code 43 then ati patcher makes them to work but then if i connect the other 3 and turn on 4 g decode it wont boot didnt tryed for long now but if you have rx 400 series simply use 16.11.5 drivers to get 7 modded crads to work i heared also the rx500 series allows modded bioses the driver wont check for it signature but didnt test it cause i dont have rx500 series card... sorry 4 bad english...

try esm 1 for qtminer mode or does dwarf not support qtminer dont mine there anymore do to 51% hashrate hehe share your power dont let pools grow to much hehe Smiley
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v4.1 (Windows/Linux) on: May 06, 2016, 04:24:51 PM
iam on stability tests right now its great 3 days or more uptime ubuntu 15.04 desktop

installed amd driver from page radeon-crimson-15.12-15.302-151217a-297685e.zip

installed deps.

sudo apt-get install dh-modaliases execstack debhelper dkms lib32gcc1

install the amd driver

sudo ./amd-driver-installer-15.302-x86.x86_64.run

it takes a time 10 mins click continue and yes to install the driver reboot
some commands to get things working hehe
aticonfig --odgt --adapter=all  <- shows temps all cards

aticonfig --adapter=0 --od-setclocks=1100,1500 <- sets clock speed gpu/ram of adapter 0 primary gpu

no amd sdk needed for claymore miner i think the driver installes opencl... have to find out and dig deeper into it ...

download and extract claymore linux miner to Desktop or somewhere else open it and edit start.bash 4 your needs wallet etc etc i mine eth only on ethermine in this example...

./ethdcrminer64 -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0xethadresshere.rig1 -epsw x -esm 1

execute this in terminal or add to bashrc

export GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR="0"
export GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE="100"
export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS="1"
export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT="100"
export GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT="100"

launch miner

./start.bash

miner should work now if i didnt forget anything ask here i try to help Smiley

thx Claymore 4 this awesome miner! Its the best miner out there i mined first on linux with some rigs and qtminer and ethminer and its forks... Cause of your miner i installed M$ stupid7x64 and M$ alotmorstupid10x64 to try the claymore dual miner it worked well but not that stabe as i know from the unix world sometimes M$ miners run a day or 2 thats the max hehe its more like a few hours than the M$ rigs crush!!! Frozen or something else... so i was frustrated of the miner but its not the miner even ethminer or qtminer crush this way in M$ Billyshittyiownyou world so i switched back to linux ubuntu 15.04 and you announce claymore dual miner 4 linux hehe how cool so i tested your miner again in linux world and i can confirm its the best miner out there its as stable as qtminer and ethminer in linux but it hashes way better so perfect job claymore

on ethermine.org all shares got rejected anybody else the same Huh it worked b4 but now all is rejected didnt change anything...?
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v1.1 on: April 12, 2016, 08:46:57 PM
yes i get 62-63 mh/s with 3 r7 370 and one r9 280x in ether mode... its a bit lower than qtminer but iet it run 4 while to see how stable it is
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred GPU Miner v1.1 on: April 12, 2016, 08:12:42 PM
trying it now with 3x r7 370 + 1x r9 280x beta 1.1 on ethermine.org

stay away from that service i tested it with 0.2 btc i rented 810 mhs for 24h 3 rigs 280mhs, 420mhs and 110mhs it never reached this hashpower its slower or even offline and not hashing 0 hashes very bad you will never get back what you pay for be warned i tested it here are some screens
rigs.online profile with the rented rigs

hashing screens from suprnova pool the workers if they are online on some pics you see they are offline tflux99.mrig the 420 mhs box tflux99.mrig2 the 280 mhs box tflux99.mrig3 the 110 mhs box
