Ok, we are doing a mining node & mm test.  Worker credentials made before today will work, new ones will not yet.

You can connect to

host: pa.mtred.com
port: 8337

Make sure to have backups/autostarts setup.

I don't see my NMC work count changing.  BTC work count still increments every 5 minutes though.

Ohh yes, I should have mentioned, nmcshares have their own display that isnt working..... Sad

But are miners actually accumulating NMC?

Will the auction fire off at the designated time, or is it still an arbitrary event?

Just use a longer crossfire cable.  eBay has them.
289  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] AMD Sempron 145 2.8GHz on: May 16, 2012, 07:11:07 AM
Like the above guy from Pakistan who want to pay double price for it?  Grin Ok, not a prob, but just not an option for others, who can buy in local stores cheaper and with year warranty.

You don't strike me as being much of a reader, and it shows in your posts  Roll Eyes  Anyway, item has been sold.  Thanks!

 Boxed version. $36.30.
 Similar local prices for me.

You're selling second hand for $40.48. Where's the logic?

That price doesn't include shipping.  Mine is shipped.  *shrug* I can just return it and get 100% of my money.  No sweat off my back.  I was just giving anybody who might be interested the opportunity to buy it with Bitcoins that took maybe $6 or less to generate.

It's cheaper to buy a new one and with warranty.  Roll Eyes

This has a warranty.  Link to cheaper?
292  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] AMD Sempron 145 2.8GHz on: May 16, 2012, 06:27:07 AM
What's the address?  I'll have to plug it into the shipping calculator to get the exact amount.
293  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Bitcoin Savings and Trust on: May 15, 2012, 12:00:20 AM
Hey I have a quick Q about starting a BCTST account.  If I opened an account today, would interest start accruing today?  Or is there some kind of enrollment period I'd have to wait for?
294  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD] AMD Sempron 145 2.8GHz on: May 14, 2012, 11:27:03 PM
I literally just bought this thing during lunch today and threw it in my mining rig.  Results?  Runs great!  Why am I selling it?  It offers hardly any power savings over my Phenom II x4 (running on 1 core).  Instead of returning it, I thought I'd offer it up for sale if anybody might be interested.  The stock heatsink wasn't used (I just threw on my old heatsink from my Phenom), so the thermal paste/pad thing is still brand new on the heatsink that comes with it.

I'll sell it for about what I paid for it: 8 BTC shipped.
295  Economy / Goods / [WTS] Elinchrom D-Lite 2 Kit (Photography Studio Lights) on: May 12, 2012, 06:20:18 PM
Ok so I bought this Elinchrom D-Lite 2 kit a few months ago but I really have no room to use it in my house.  I unboxed it, set up the soft boxes and shot maybe 20-30 pics just to test it out. It works great and the strobes fire every time the shutter released, with super fast recovery time even at full power.

This is the actual kit: http://www.amazon.com/Elinchrom-EL-20814KIT-D-Lite-With-Stands/dp/B003H4D990/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1336846234&sr=8-1

Comes with everything, strobes, Bogen/Manfrotto light stands, Skyport transmitter (fits onto the hotshoe of your camera and wirelessly triggers the strobes), soft boxes, cables, etc. Original box too, if I can figure out how to shoehorn everything back into the box lol

125 BTC shipped, and I am willing to do escrow with a reputable forum member.  Thanks!
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / When do the block rewards half for i0coin and Ixcoin? on: May 12, 2012, 05:58:32 AM
I know Ixcoin already halved a few months ago... What about i0coin though?  And what is the block reward reduction schedule for each?
297  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] 2,500 PPT.D Pirate Pass Through Bonds! on: May 12, 2012, 02:39:47 AM
No, it's probably not going to, but you also know the platform is a bit flaky.  Also, the difference between the highest and lowest bids that cleared is quite small starting at 1.105 and going to 1.0999.  So, the difference between being the highest bid and missing out is just 0.5% over the 28 days.  I understand people wanting to get the lowest price, but complaining that your bid was too low on such a narrow margin doesn't really stack up.

That's not what people are complaining about here.
298  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] 2,500 PPT.D Pirate Pass Through Bonds! on: May 12, 2012, 02:17:12 AM
The timing last week was early and this week was late.  The 1600 bid did move (I think twice), and so I expect there will be some annoyed people.

HOWEVER

for context there were bids for over 7400 bonds this week meaning around 5000 (two thirds) were not filled.

That doesn't exactly make me feel any better Tongue  I had that 1600 outbid fair and square at 22:00 on the dot.
299  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] 2,500 PPT.D Pirate Pass Through Bonds! on: May 12, 2012, 02:13:23 AM
really needs to be on an automatic timer set by GLBSE. okay I lied but it did jump from 1.095 to 1.099(which it went off at) after 10pm. So it was more like .05 which does make a difference

edit: you beat me to it. auto timer is the way to go

What kind of timer is it now?

I believe it's triggered like this:

How about honor the bloody bid table as it stood at 22:00:00?
