It's usually stated "for the time being," and means until the indefinite future.
In other words, you don't want to deal with the problem now.
Yeah, typical phrase is: It's okay for the time being. Meaning is "It's okay for now but maybe be better later"

Wow.. . so after all these miserable few MONTHS, people are still mining with this pool and expecting good conduct from the pool? Unbelievable!
I guess it's the commission that lures people to 50BTC. 3% PPS is a very VERY low commission nowdays.

gjpminingco, any news?

Todays News from them:

Quote
Hi. We had a little accident while updating our payout software today. So, withdrawals are not working at the moment. We will be brining them back tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience.

LOL, they really trying to steal more and more money from the user Cheesy
Well, the last time they handled situation really well. (I refer to 11.02 not the hack thingy) So there is no reason to panic... yet Grin

Edit: Where did you find this news? Didn't notice it on the main page. (didn't login tho)

Count your self lucky

I have learned my Lesson, and when i Bring my 5th/s online in about 3 weeks I will make sure that My hardware NEVER touches 50btc.com's ports

They lost all chances for me to ever mine on their pool ever again

Funny thing is they are finding blocks because People are stupid enough to fall for their lies and to help them Rip their oldest members by mining on a pool that refuses to pay the people the FULL balance that is owed to them
What miners are you going to use? Just wondering about buying one or using cloud hashing.

Well the miners i am getting are gonna be 600ghs units and the Vendor will be making an announcement in the next week or so when they do i will send you a link to the announcement, since they will break the Mold and be Selling IN STOCK 600GHS mining Units
Thanks, I hope the price is condescending Smiley Let me know if there is referrer program of some kind as I am really interested in it and maybe could get you few additional hashes.

I remember back in the days we had an option to disable 2FA without a cellphone... is it still available ? Because mine drowned in the sink Grin
lol, my condolences.
I think it's not quite the right place to ask this question - 50BTC user is not really an often guest here  Wink
Write to the magical "question mark" on the 50BTC website - maybe they will be able to help you.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If i buy bitcoin at mt gox?? on: February 25, 2014, 11:08:57 AM
If you have any btc now, I would suggest put them in cold storage and lay low for a while. When their price goes up and there is some exchange that is okey then go for it.
+1 patience is virtue Smiley

13  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tor Browser tips/help? on: February 25, 2014, 11:03:08 AM
So I take it a number of you here are using things like the Tor Browser to get around a lot of bullshit involved with websites tracking your I.P address and trying to farm personal information, well I've decided now I'm going to see if I can go pure Tor, I suspect that it will be impossible on some sites because they'll scream at me like the Google search engine does to turn off whatever weirdness I have but fuck it, I'm tired of my ISP ( Virgin Media ) tracking my activity on our LAN and behaving weirdly.

Do you guys know of things like password managers and a way to import all my stuff from firefox into tor? Any tips for a newbie would be helpful and should be of help to anyone else who's tired of the automated tracking like I am, looking at Tor Browser though, it may be just easier in the long run to get a VPN and use that.
It IS easier to get a VPN because I didn't find any way to import my bookmarks etc from the Chrome. There is also a problem with Bitcointalk sometimes - it won't give you a permission to post since you're using Tor.
All in all there is not much to advice here - Tor is not complicated at all.

Hey guys, can I setup autopayouts on 50BTC this way: I mine till .01 BTC > I get the payout > another .01 > another payout ? Didn't find this option...
AFAIK you can only setup one transaction per hour. You can't setup a threshold for BTC on your account that should be automatically paid. I would also like to have this option at my service.
Can confirm this. Also can confirm that hourly payouts are not very convenient.  Tongue
It's a shame. Going to right to the support about this.
Let me join you in this noble intention! Maybe they'll listen to the "mass" Grin
