If we see the twins walking the Hollywood red carpet, every last satoshi will be bought.
Bit of an odd subject for a film. It's not overflowing with urgency and most of the drama involves Charlie Shrem drinking too many cocktails. Digital Gold by Nathaniel Popper dated itself badly by dwelling on their relationship for far too long.

And the fact that your only defense is "lawl" just further reinforces things.
lawl <--- just for ibian I hope you die painfully. thats the difference between you and i. i dont wish harm on you. even if youre an asshole. You also do not wish to pay the 80% taxes your generation has imposed on me. That's the difference between you and I. I have not imposed anything on you. Remind me what it is you do around here anyway...would you please? I cant recall the last time I heard you say something nice to anybody. Go eat a pickle already. TLDR - 'I didn't ask to be BORN.' Followed by painting the bedroom black.

So if you think it is crap then please use chrome to get royally screwed and forget privacy.
Yes, sir. Duckduckgo is not good enough as a search engine. End of. If I ran my life through it I would still have to refer to better ones to make sure it was giving me the results I needed because its results do not deliver. You can seek out privacy and still acknowledge when something isn't good enough. Please don't hurt me.

Nice one, heard people are nervous of fakes. Is that pretty common right now or still something that is not massively worried about? Luckily kept emails from Mike so can verify everything
I've been moaning on ongoing basis about people calling crappy tributes fakes. They may resemble aspects of Casascius design but the only person who'd fall for it would be an absolute know nothing and since they're almost always priced between $1-5 it's clear enough. Anyway I'm still waiting for the indistinguishable fake including hologram. It hasn't arrived yet. If and when it does it's going to stir things up.

I am no fucktwat supporter, but he has succeeded in keeping a bunch of dimwits following him and keeping a scam alive for many years... including forking off and maintaining some value in the market cap. I don't know if he is making any money in regards to how much capital he has had to inject or if might have a way to exit scam with any profits (sure that is future versus past)... .
You are correct but I was thinking more along the lines of actual achievements beyond conning and lying as I'm a real old fuddy duddy and call that type of behaviour real success. I've no doubt he'll come out with far more money than he went in with but that'll mean he's still the same piece of excrement he was before he turned up in Bitcoinland and defecated on our laps.

When we get more decentralized options to facilitate our daily exchanges, it will be easier for non-criminal people to avoid any KYC, AML, CFT banking procedures. Governments will need to find other ways to fight criminals without having to exclude half of the humanity from financial system. It will also depend on grade of adoption of cryptocurrencies in our life. If there is no necessity to exchange bitcoin or monero to fiat money, then these cryptocurrencies might get any level of anonymity they need.
I think that's the biggest unanswered question in the future. If the Bitcoin economy becomes largely a closed loop how will governments react? I've not to far off reached it myself. I'd rather sell stuff for BTC and I spend plenty of it too. There'll always be a need for some people to get back into fiat but if a big percentage of anyone's earnings or spending never leave what are they going to do? It's a piece of piss when everyone's tied to fiat or still wants it, vastly less so when fiat is treated like a pain up the arse rather than the end goal. Will we wind up with government registered wallets?

The biggest risks in my opinion, is black swan events(sudden huge BTC price crashes, hence your funds potentially being liquidated through a margin call)
That's what I don't quite get about this whole thing. Humongous liquidations must've happened countless times since this was launched. That's what happens to traders. I can't see how Blockfi's selection of traders would be any better than any other ones. They must either have massive collateral or tiny positions or Blockfi dictate how much they can risk. It's all a bit murky.

If it had been taken over by someone faintly legit then I'd expect some resolution at some point.
Since Justin Sun is behind the wheel, a sort of crypto herpes that infects anything he inserts his filthy little willy into, then it's safe to say it is case closed. In his favour of course. The only consolation is that Poloniex is continuing to fade. I certainly won't be using them ever again.

I expect this type of thing from a browser. When you think of the amount of potential power you're handing to them by using their product it's mind boggling. It's a portal into your online entirety.
I would not have expected it from a browser that claimed to be your wee buddy on your side. It's a really stupid move on their part as it gobs on exactly the reasons many people took it on in the first place.
I'd much rather pay a browser that guaranteed certain standards of respect and behaviour.

gate.io
Gate.io was BTER which got 'hacked' to the tune of several thousand BTC. They started off saying they would pay back their customers with earnings from fees. Then they got bored and relaunched as Gate.io after having paid back a derisory amount. That makes them at the very least lazy assholes, more likely they were the hackers and gave up pretending to give a shit when enough time had passed. Do not be shocked when lightning strikes twice.

Yeah, well I can't believe you're still here.
Hard is a bit like a Coelacanth, a breed who we thought were long extinct and then one day they pop up again out of nowhere. Living fossils are a fine thing for us to marvel at. He's straight out of 2014/15 where people like this were ejaculating all over the forum. We all know how that period of time concluded - in way that stopped that orgasm mid grunt.

Brave have jumped the shark - https://decrypt.co/31522/crypto-brave-browser-redirect so if you care about that type of thing they're probably best to be left off the list. I kind of assumed properly private browsing would be impossible on a phone. If the browser itself does the job, the phone might be happily sending everything to some creepy men who live inside a hollowed out mountain. But doing what you can is still helpful and don't forget VPNs, proper ones, especially if you use public wifi.

Monero is being harder and harder to exchange every year. What if it becomes delisted from 90% of exchanges one day?
I think that's totally inevitability myself. Anyone not planning for it is a bit of a silly sausage. The day is coming. But that doesn't mean the death of it by any means. There'll always be exchanges on the fringes happy to deal with it and at some point there'll be robust and decent decentralised options with some volume.

Huh. Interesting. Regardless, I personally mostly understand why certain businesses require AML/KYC(because of regulatory reasons), this is just too much in my opinion.
This is the first time I have ever, ever heard of such a requirement from anyone, certainly no non crypto organisation. You can still run a trillion dollars through your bank account with a proof of address and a bit of ID and not even a hint of a selfie. If a normalton's bank called up and ordered them to take a series of mugshots before they could access their money again they'd wonder what the fuck was going on and run straight to the press. Other than leaving we have no choice of course, but it's strange how many people in cryptoland regard this as normal. Compared to every other area of finance I've dealt with it sure as shit is not.

nothing is impossible for us to be able to recover our losses quickly.
Riiight. That's the sort of thing someone tells their wife as he yanks her clothes off to pawn them, and that's after selling the cardboard she was sleeping on. If you're crap at it and consistently crap at it then that's the universe trying to tell you something. Some people aren't fated to make a go of it. You should be carefully managing your risk so this isn't an issue in the first place. And no one should be trading with everything. If you retain 80% or more of your funds that are never touched then your trading losses will sting but they won't finish you off or drive you to total ruin.
