A NASTY storm obliterated power in my area for the past 18hrs. I assure you...the difficulty will be spiking momentarily.  Also I have a VM that's running windows 8(yeah I know) and it miraculously turned auto update back on and nerfed something with some unwanted updates. When I launch Zeitcoin it's blank and never loads. Has anyone else seen this? Rolling back Micro$ofts's unsolicited viruses updates... After the rollback , try deleting temp files in these 2 locations, if you still have issues. c:\users\%username\appdata\local\Temp\ c:\windows\Temp\  Thanks man, I did try that, but I also renamed the wallet file, rebooted and synced on a blank wallet, switched wallets back and it worked. Not sure which fixed it, but the bottom line is Micro$oft sux. |

In talks with a couple skilled devs to work on the neglected BCX wallet...need more guys to chip in please...even if it's not a lot. Good coin devs keep busy and deserve a little compensation for their time and skillsets.
Though the wallet was obviously well put together as evidenced by the fact that it still works properly after being neglected so long, the thing desperately needs coin control. Anyone else have any suggestions for improvements to the BCX wallet?

Make a backup and then run check/repairwallet
how can i run check/repairwallet ? click help --> debug window --> console type "checkwallet" { "wallet check passed" : true } and nothing changed you can try "repairwallet" in the console just make a copy of your wallet.dat file first I have backup , i did repair and check ..nothing changed. should i reinstal wallet ? Rename the current wallet.dat to oldwallet.dat , then restore only the wallet.dat file from the backup before the reinstalling windows. Then start zeitcoin-qt and see if the amount matches. If not , run repairwallet , then restart zeitcoin and check balance, if the above does not work, then try running it zeitcoin-qt.exe -rescan Check Balance. If that does not work the only thing left is a zeitcoin-qt.exe -salvagewallet zeitcoin-qt.exe -rescan 03:47:47  Method not found (code -32601) zeitcoin-qt.exe -salvagewallet Method not found (code -32601) Nah, those aren't console commands. Easiest way is to create a shortcut to zeitcoin-qt.exe. Open the properties page of that shortcut and add " -rescan" to the end of target line. So your shortcut target line would look similar to this: "C:\Users\barrysoetorosux\AppData\Roaming\ZeitCoin\zeitcoin-qt.exe -rescan" |
