How do you compare to something that's not available for 4 months?

Hashfast sierra looked like a bargain for 50Btc in sept of 2013 for delivery in November of 2013. Didn't turn out so well.

What do you mean "slowness"? I'm minting just fine on the unofficial wallet.

autovoting machines on mintpal ensure the ballot box is stuffed in their favor. I've never even heard of 365coin, yet it has over 98k votes.

cryptsy has been making trouble for many with changes to their api the last few days.

Yes actually. I pre-ordered from scamfast myself. Got royally screwed and have been very vocal about it. The time for pre-orders is past. That ship sailed.

People that order from bfl at this point...well there's really not much to say there. I believe therapy can offer real hope for masochists.

@raskul, you've been on ignore for some while. Yer just wasting time replying.

Everybody seems to want to bargain shop. Most of the sellers won't sell lower and most of the buyers are waiting for it to drop further.

Cryptsy API setup had a spot for "username". That seemed to disappear right about the time it stopped working. Was that removed in the last haasbot update?

Paying for August delivery in late April is NUTS. The number of variables to consider between then and now makes an informed decision impossible.

Thx that'd be awesome of you. If possible please compile it with coin control.

Nice project, I'll check it out. Could you add Zeitcoin support please?

hmm...blocked by virus scan.

So how does the POS work. Ive kept the coins in my wallet and Ive not seen any interest yet. How often is it calculated?

Coins mature in 20 days. After that they have a chance to stake. Large blocks of coins tend to stake the first day they're eligible, smaller blocks within a few days of eligibility.

There's absolutely no justification for pre-orders to exist at this stage in bitcoin mining's hardware evolution. Just say no. Force companies to build it before they sell it, the way it should be.

Will you fund the R&D and the chip mask of new companies?

Sure I'll chip in. Do I get a share of the profits? NO YOU SAY?!?

Tried funding production after tape out at one pre-order company and got burned. I know it's an old story.

So, Question for you all smart people.   Am I seeing an issue here with my minting process?  about a month ago I transferred all my coins to Mintpal, did some trades and then brought them all back...now those coins have been sitting there not doing much of anything, I did xfer out about 5mil coins but the remaining 31mil have not moved and really have not minted either....did the coin age reset when I did the 5 mil transfer?

The way to move some coins without resetting age on the oldest coins is by using coin control.

Kinda depends on your electricity costs.

The only defense I ever made was not to get the law involved because that would equal never getting a cent back. Looks like I was right, the MSD will put an end to my investment and ruin my entire fortune.

I believe you're misallocating blame.

Kind of hard to search on my phone but what happened with WC?

This was the start of it:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=568517.msg6416797#msg6416797

IDK if it's 100% real or not but Poloniex froze their WC market and said the others did too.  I've seen several people say they sent coins from their wallets and never got them.  As of right now there hasn't been an official update.

Even if it's never needed it would be nice to know that there is something officially in place that could reach everyone in case of a problem.  Less likely to have fear-mongering and scams that way.

Not sure I follow about what should be in place, but we have the alert system to sent out updates/warnings to clients.

I was referring to a suggestion I made above and pasted that below:

In light of the Whitecoin problem/crash, I'd like to suggest a feature to enhance the stability of Fluttercoin.  Wallets need a way to warn you if there is a problem with the network.  I think Hirocoin will alert you when there is an update but I'm not sure if it will when there's a problem.  For example, if somehow there was a fork or a vulnerability in the network the wallet needs to alert you before you send coins and potentially loose them.

Figuring out how to safeguard users will help to increase the faith and stability of Fluttercoin.  One more thing to set us apart from the rest.

Not everyone checks the forum everyday.  Business owners accepting FLT won't be checking the forums everyday.  So when someone opens their wallet to send or receive coins it would be nice to know that if there was a problem I'd have a message there telling me about it.  We may never have an issue but if we do it could tell us.

I saw notifications to update fluttercoin wallet right on the wallet itself. Otherwise I probably wouldn't have even known there was a fork coming. This coin seems very well tended.

don't see why not. looks like a ribbon cable connector.

it would take less than 50,000 pounds to jump price back up 2 10sat!

that's just temporary. whales will have more to gain by suppressing the price than increasing it, particularly as confidence continues to erode.
