If we can get openssl updated to block heartbleed bug and coin control features added to the Zeitcoin wallet I'll toss 5 BTC at that bid wall. Grin

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=561464.0

Is the ZEITCOIN wallet also vulnerable to that? How can we fix it?

yes.

bribe the zeitcoin devs to update openssl version as many other coin devs have already done.

How is asic resistance anything more than a gimmick to keep gpu mining profitable longer? Trying to understand the mindset...

Thanks guys. It's comforting to see such great support from the hbn devs.

my wallet was stuck earlier for a moment.I went to debug window console in HELP and ran  repairwallet command and it fixed a transaction and hasn't been stuck since you might want to try that. I just transferred from cryptsy with no problem and mined earlier and recieved without any problems.Cryptsy had problems earlier might of been just because of the bleeding heart exploit but everythings ok now just transferred 20k and went through fine myself Wink

Not sure if I am doing it right.

Clicked "Help"
Clicked "Console"
Typed "repairwallet"

it responded

repairwallet

00:08:17

{
"wallet check passed" : true
}

Still not syncing, am I doing it right? Anything else I can try? Appreciate your help.

As mentioned, if all else fails then you backup your wallet(twice) and nuke the contents of your bcx directory. Restore your bcx directory and wallet.dat file and rebuild the chain. Not a big deal as bcx is very quick to rebuild compared to other chains.

32k sell wall on cryptsy deleted. Withdrawals from cryptsy are re-enabled.

Cryptsy has been goofing off with my phs withdrawal for almost two days now. Support's response can be summed up as "cryptos is hard". Undecided

...all the newest newbies are it seems. If I were a suspicious sort I'd think nem had a sock puppet army on the march, but *that* can't be right.

Seems to be working fine. Yer the best stewie!

We'll see tomorrow when some of my coins hit min stake age.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about with these numbers, so I'm just gonna nod my head in agreement.  Grin

Lite satoshis. Some won't even do the maths to convert to btc and just dump coins all willy nilly...bless their hearts.

I cancelled it and moved it lower, see bid@66. Hey they seem to want to dump a metric tonne atm, let them do it at lower prices. ;p

I believe the counter attack is going to make them feel silly for dumping.

Why @66 they never sold lower than 2 satoshi and that was 7 someting when ltc was .027 and 80 now. I'm out of funds on cryptsy and probably transfer wil take ages again Roll Eyes

The person or persons doing the dumping seem to have little patience. Buy orders above 79 are thin and I'd like very much for them to finish dumping so we can move beyond. If I stack another few million coins at 66 I'd be more than ok with that too. Just let them punch themselves out.

Thanks but still that's a lot of text for someone to read and understand who just wants to use mint coins to buy stuff.

I think the wallet should be as clean and simple possible for mintcoin to reach mass adoption, that said coin control could be an option activated only through the settings menu. it's a cool feature!

I've not yet looked at this beta implementation, but coin control is an activated expert feature on every wallet equipped with it I've seen to date. If reading a couple paragraphs to increase their chance of staking and lower tx fees on micro payments is too much effort for someone then they need do nothing and they'd never even know coin control was available.

Even the ultra conservative bitcoin devs are finally caving and stopping with the lowest common denominator one size fits all thinking...finally. Coin control is a must for a pos coin imo.

If that's the case and it's optional in the wallet settings then thats great. It should be simple enough for joe 6pack and advanced enough for the more demanding coin nerd.

Confirmed. Coin control is only available after enabling it as an advanced feature(settings > options > display). Now j6p can watch nascars making left turns all day, drink beer, and not have to be bothered with lernin' and stuff. Wink

Thanks Kergekoin!

Massive dumps on cryptsy too. I've had several multi ltc bid walls taken down. They'll punch themselves out and run out of ammo. Meanwhile I've stacked about 1/4 billion coins at a price I'm happy with. Keep em coming boys. ;p

Hey Everyone,

I have been speaking with someone to do a multipool like blackcoins. We will have a beta one up in the next few days. I understand there are some that do not agree with this however due to the vote that we had on the official forum the community has spoken and would like to have one.

Keep in mind we will be monitoring this and do not want to ostracize ourselves or give our coin a bad name because of this. We are doing this as our future plans with this coin revolve around helping move humanity forward and we can achieve this better by increasing the value of this coin.

The higher the value the more we can help by donations.

If you would like to take part in the beta please email me zeit@zeit-coin.com and I will email you all with the new location once it is up.

I would also like to hear everyones comments about this so please email me if you are against it and i will take your concerns into consideration and do everything in my power to ensure they are adhered to.

Thank you everyone.

Also here is the poll again if anyone wants to keep voting http://forum.zeit-coin.com/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=83&sid=cd255d5ff78d2644fac713cf2fc2b526

Sounds interesting.

OT: Are there any plans in the works to introduce coin control for the Zeitcoin wallet?

If you release that at least provide instructions and/or a manual on how to use it. I think it might be to complex for >50% of users.
