Anyone care to explain why they think TZC is a dead coin ?

Alot of people check the master branch where as most of the dev work will get done on private branches and then merged into master when tested and ready.
MarketCap/Price:
We are in a crypto bear market and anyone who says anything different needs to back that with some serious stats/proof. With things like TrezarTravels and other use cases on the way Trezarcoin has positioned itself very well to actually get used as currency!
Trezarcoin has a team with a wealth of experience from various backgrounds...some of the team members have been into crypto pre 2013.
All I can say is, watch this space is in the coming months!
Good points, thanks aciddude.  Also, people should remember that the crypto market has some vicious bear phases. Even in just this shorter-lived one, major projects like ETH or XRP saw declines of 90% or so from their peak (ATH) valuations. Given how hard the marquee entities were hit, it's no surprise that most alts suffered significant decline in both value and interest. I cannot promise that TZC will end up being a Top Ten crypto-project or anything like that, but I will say that during these market phases it is worth seeing which projects are simply dead versus which ones continue to have devs/teams quietly but diligently putting in work to take advantage of the next "renaissance". |

Why is that?

As of this evening, I can't open my Windows 10 1.1 wallet. When it is reindexing the block chain on start up, I get the stopped working-close program pop up.
Is this a new issue due to a windows update?
Perhaps if your update did a force-close on your apps (including wallets) when restarting? For problems that sounds like that, try launching the wallet with the -reindex parameter. May take 15+ min depending on your system specs. If that doesn't help, try a fresh install (please make careful backups first!) and if that doesn't work, please stop by the Slack/Discord for more real-time help. Good luck! |

So I guess what I am trying to emphasize here is that it should be easy for the average Joe who wants to use TZC as a general form of payment and storage of value to easily determine the interest rate, so to speak, from parking their coins in their wallet (ie - staking them).
I'm not asking you to explain it to me like I'm 5 - or even explain it all, really - but I am asking the wallet and/or coin devs to consider making the staking function of the wallet a bit more user-friendly.
And FWIW, my measly 1203 TZC (mined when it was a *lot* higher in price) have yet to earn a single block from staking, though @statt did warn it might take 6 months. I might give it one more month, then I'm going to call this experiment with staking an interesting learning experience, but ultimately not worth it. Hello sir! I'm sorry to hear that you have not hit a stake with your balance. Always a disappointment.  Very broadly speaking, that kind of balance might take between 3 to 10 months to stake. But it might also be affected by how your inputs happen to exist (many small, few large, etc.). For those with larger balances, the wallet will automatically merge or split inputs as it stakes, but for holders with amounts that might not stake for a month or more at a time, then it might help to take a look. Feel free to PM me if you wish to check on that. As for displaying, communicating, or even calculating an annual "interest rate", that is unfortunately inherently imprecise. However, this imprecision is by design, so to speak. Earlier models of PoS that utilized an actual APR (annual percentage rate, etc.) opened themselves up to a number of issues and exploits--e.g., many users would not leave their wallets open/connected, which helps the network, and would instead connect briefly once a month or so to "collect" their rewards. By having a variable rate that depends on the participating wallets, their balances, etc. it removes a number of security/network-health concerns. |

You have 37K coin days, which isnt so high.
The general consensus is if you have between 150K and 250K TZC you will find between 1 and 3 blocks a day with PoS.
It might help to clarify that aciddude was indicating 150k to 250k TZC coin balance may lead to 1-3 blocks a day via PoS. Coin balance is the actual coins you own. The 37k coin days/weight is a multiple of the balance. Since the max multiple is 15x, that means 37k weight could indicate a balance as low as ~2500 coins. With a hypothetical balance of 2.5k coins, staking would be much less frequent than daily. Just FYI. Good luck with your staking! I've always wondered what the min. balance to stake was as well. So by your math, someone would need a minimum of 10K coins to stake daily at this point in time. Thanks! Sorry, could explain your math TRexMcStubyArms?  Based on the values mentioned above, one would expect to need 150k or higher to achieve a daily (estimated) stake rate? As for minimum to stake, iirc one might need at least 200 coins... |

Thanks Statt and Net time for helping me out. What I have done to restore my funds
1: Backup of the old wallet ( Data folder and Of Course I had my private keys )
2: I installed the new version of wallet from Trezar website and it automatically start syncing the blockchain to the latest block
3: I just copied my old wallet.dat file from backup and replaced it with new wallet.dat file in data folder.
Thats it. Its working great ....Thanks.

Open wallet with -rescan or -repairwallet option, or backup wallet.dat, rename data folder, and open wallet so blocks resync from start and replace wallet.dat.
Thanks for the help. I would start with trying the -reindex parameter. Also, if you are moving over from the old version, there is a guide on the Slack: https://slack-files.com/T6N9K4V3Q-FA4MP0JES-9fec678fe5If reindex or rescan don't help and you still can't get it to work, then you can install the new version by itself and replace the wallet.dat with your old. You can also try using the bootstrap to save time/data-use as well. Always remember to keep safe, regular backups. Good luck! |

CryptoBridge was added just a couple weeks ago. Blockbid is coming. And as NetTime alluded to, devs have been good about continuing to push applications and stay in touch with various exchanges for other listing opportunities. |

Hey everyone, I have been mining overnight and I have received no payments, I have enough for a payment, Lycheebit mining pool still operating? I really dont understand how this works. I know what to do to start mining but thats all. Im brand new to this so apologies for noob questions

I cannot sync with the new wallet. I already added the nodes from page one, are there newer ones?
The nodes list on the first post is pretty up to date. But if you're using the newest wallet version, it should auto-create a conf file and populate it with good nodes/values. I would first try closing the wallet, reopening it and giving it some time. (As in hours, not minutes.) If that doesn't seem to work, you can check/try two things. - 1) See how many connections you seem to be getting (mouse-over the signal-strength looking icon or use CLI command getconnectioncount).Over ten you should be fine.
- 2) You can consider trying the bootstrap. There is a link to it on the website and if you visit the Discord and search for the term "bootstrap" you will find several example instructions.

My new problem now is mining. I downloaded the latest ccminer and used https://pool.trezarcoin.com as my pool. But I always got stratum authentication failed, I followed the guide in 1st page but still same issue Most of the guides show examples of pools that use YIMP and don't require registration. The official pool requires you to set up a login and workers.
