141  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is PayPal now feeling the pressure from Bitcoin? on: September 27, 2017, 06:13:35 PM
PayPal is crap. They don't even have a phone number where you can call and handle matters. You can just open a dispute and hope and pray that your matter is handled if anything at all. They are no different from any other payment processor and charge charge back fees and so on in a cold blooded manner.

On top of that they report off everything to big daddy IRS. They are obviously scared of Bitcoin as well as apps like Ca$h so they are trying to drive their mobile app before they become outdated.

I remember asking them a question and the response back to me after 2 days was asking me what the question meant. They did not even attempt to put the word into Google for which the first hit was their own website documentation.

They will never make it into markets like China and so on so they will never be the world bank or whatever they are trying.
142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin without China on: September 20, 2017, 08:32:09 AM
Bitcoin will die with out china but I hear the news is only temp not forever

Do you see Bitcoin dying in the past 2 weeks? China is just one of many participants and the fact that China has often changed their rules and so on, no one trusts China to support Bitcoin and no one expects them to participate in a decent manner. Transactions in Korea surpassed China about a month ago and as far as mining equipment goes, they are the worlds factory and will continue to be that.

Chinese investors have no where to put their money in a safe manner. So Bitcoin is actually a very good investment for them. They will always continue to try and buy as much of it as possible just for that reason alone.
143  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's clear now China have higher amount bitcoin on: September 20, 2017, 08:28:19 AM
Chinese is the leader in the economy in our beautiful world,
which mean they're the most richest people in our world and can determine most of our economy.
and that is happened in our cryptoworld, they're the biggest miners in the world which mean, absolutely they're the biggest Bitcoin holders.
that is why they can affecting the price by only making some statements.
but they're not a fools, they did it intentionally, they know we will facing a hardfork in a few months later.
that is why they made that statements to trigger the weak hands and holders to sell their belongings.
but i believe it will not last long because they will enable it again and allow it again just like before

Actually, if you take a look at the share of transactions, Chinese share dropped significantly and US, Korea and Japan have taken up most of the share. This will be a prime example of how China does not matter to Bitcoin and you will see the price go back to $5000.

Chinese government is an insecure baby whose primary goal is the be under control of EVERYTHING inside China. They will keep crying like a baby ever so often so its better if they cut off Bitcoin now completely and get out of the game so we can all move on.
144  Economy / Speculation / Re: But if China gov say mining is illegal, we are fucked. Haipo Yang‏ ViaBTC CEO on: September 20, 2017, 08:22:13 AM
I am hoping China not only bans Bitcoin but also bans mining and everything else associated with Bitcoin. The world will move on without them and that would be beneficial to the world as well as Bitcoin in the long run.

Last thing we need is suddenly all of China's hash rate in the control of the Chinese government.
145  Economy / Speculation / Re: But if China gov say mining is illegal, we are fucked. Haipo Yang‏ ViaBTC CEO on: September 20, 2017, 08:20:05 AM
It would be extremely dumb for them to do it.  consider they are creating tremendous value out of both the mining and the sales / development of mining equipment.
You probably don't know how communism (aka statism) works.

They do such things for displays of power. They rule through terror.

China is not communist. They are totalitarian capitalist and their most important priority is money. Also, they don't have to show power to the Chinese people, the Chinese people are quite clear about it. They are very well planned and sharp and they will cut off Bitcoin if they are not able to control it. They allow ANYTHING as long as it is controlled by them.
146  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin drop? on: September 14, 2017, 04:30:27 PM
I think the price will drop below the 2xxx mark easily. There are a LOT of people who would be profitable even at that level so they will dump when it starts to go down more. Panic selling is already under way. To be honest, since traders are involved, there would be  no profits without the ups and downs. In the long run, even those who bought at $5000 mark will profit anyway.

As for Chinese exchanges, I hope they all close down permanently and the Chinese are out of this game. They cause a lot of uncertainty and rules there change on a daily basis and in an unpredictable manner since their process is not transparent.
147  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: September 14, 2017, 04:16:00 PM
Anyone in tune with the news would have dumped Bitcoin back in the 4xxx levels in a bid to book profits and buy back cheap later. HODLers will benefit in the long run anyway so its a win-win situation for both traders and HODLers.

Sooner or later Bitcoin will be $10,000 and people who don't buy when it goes below the 3xxx mark will be regretting it.
148  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Bitcoin Reaches $10k in 2017, what will you do? on: September 06, 2017, 07:42:48 PM
I have make so much from bitcoin this year and my aspirations is to see bitcoin value keep going up. I have been holding since the beginning of last year and though I have sold some. I have also thought of bitcoin getting to $10000 before the end of this year and by then I will still be holding. We have alot of speculation that bitcoin will get to $50,000 before the end of 2018 and $500,000 before the end of 2020. Hope all this prediction happened.

$5,00,000 by end of 2020: This would mean the BTC capital would go from like $76 billion to $8 trillion. So SOMEONE out there would have to invest hundreds of billions of dollars into Bitcoin.

That kind of capital would supersede some countries entire wealth. But yeah, the $500000 a bitcoin is coming though just not sure when.
149  Economy / Speculation / Re: are we out of the bear market? on: September 06, 2017, 07:35:08 PM
Bear market?? We have had an incredible rise in price over the last few months so I am not sure we are in a bear market.

If you mean the dip we had due to China banning ICO, its all part of the normal ups and downs and the overall trend for BTC is UP.
150  Economy / Speculation / Segwit helping BTC on: August 27, 2017, 09:33:00 PM
Litecoin has gone to $64 all the way from $5. Segwit helped it happen. Will things like support for lightning network significantly assist Bitcoin's price?
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple (XRP) rising? on: August 22, 2017, 07:18:32 PM
Well, some is buying because it has gone up even higher now. The actual company probably finds opportunities to unload at regular intervals and book their profits. They are the ones who probably have the kind of volume to bring the price crashing down on regular basis.
152  Economy / Scam Accusations / Micro-BTC.com on: August 22, 2017, 01:32:25 AM
On their website, it states that they have been mining for 688 days. However, the domain name micro-btc.com itself was registered only last year in August. It has no address/phone number on the site and looks like a total scam on what they are promising to offer.

Anyone know more about this company?
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Ripple (XRP) rising? on: August 22, 2017, 01:02:39 AM
Does anyone know why Ripple (XRP) had a good rise today? Not following why it is listed on Bitstamp along with Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ether.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: So... it's happening, Bitcoin Cash TAKEOVER, BCC mining more profitable WARNING on: August 18, 2017, 06:42:31 PM
All companies and structure is built to support core, nobody accepts or gives a fuck about the altcoin bitcoin cash.

They don't but they may start to in a very big way if it comes around 50% of BTC price.
If true just a matter of time till both are dead and some other coin that can't fork takes over.

I've reported you for your previous post, don't do this ever.

And I agree with you on this.

Read something more about OmiseGo.

Do you suck on a lolli when you go cry to mom reporting people?
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / BCH rises 70% today on: August 18, 2017, 03:38:46 AM
Anyone know what has raised the price of BCH up by 70% today to go over $500 today? Is it the HODLers making supply limited? Is it the Chinese?
156  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin's price on: August 17, 2017, 10:06:57 PM
There are massive number of HODLERs at this time which is making Bitcoin very bullish when it comes to new investments. This tradition of HODLERs will sour sooner or later since the commercial traders are always looking for new waves to make daily ends meet.

Bitcoin may just go touch $10,000 by end of this year for all we know or it may crap itself to below $2000. The rise has been tremendous and people will start to get concerned about a pull back and become conservative as far as new investments into the coin go.

Take profits regularly and everything is nice and fine~

158  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we already rich, gentleman? on: August 15, 2017, 11:19:18 PM
We have ways more to go so I am going to hold off on saying I am rich by the true 'rich' standards we can obtain thanks to Bitcoin~

160  Economy / Speculation / Re: $100000 by 2024? on: August 14, 2017, 06:37:53 PM
We don't know when, it could be sooner or later but it WILL get to $100000 considering the rising difficulty and overall limited supply.

All hail the HODLERS!!
