381  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC drop to next level coming...bail the F out now! on: April 30, 2014, 03:34:50 AM
I usually go to guys with names like Dustyrah who tell me to get the F out while I can for investment advice. It leads to great success.

lol!  Grin

Check this post when I gave out the GTFO signal...https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=413064.0
382  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: April 30, 2014, 01:47:46 AM
What action did you guys take when one of the 4 cores stopped working? As though its not already bad with 20% less hashrate now one of the cores has stopped working reducing the hash rate to 1.2 Th/s.
Just restart cgminer from the config tab.

No luck restarting cgminer. I also restarted the machine both using Restart System option and hard booting it. The 2nd core of CTA0 appears to be hosed. I have left a voicemail and sent an email. Hope to have this resolved ASAP with Cointerra's asistance.

I had to ship it back to Cointerra(they paid shipping both ways) to have the pump fixed. I still don't know what exactly got fixed but I got it back today and after 2 weeks of downtime its hashing away again.

BITCOIN IS BELOW ITS LONG TERM TRENDLINE. THIS IS BUY TIME

IT WAS BUY TIME EVEN AT $1000 BECAUSE IT HAS SUCH A STRONG TREND THAT IT WAS WORTH OVERPAYING(TO GET A POSITION)

NOW IT IS MONTHS BELOW WHERE IT SHOULD BE(Should be ~$650 right now, rising at .6% a day). AKA FUCKING AWESOME TIME TO BUY.

Here are the price details of VWAP:

Dec 1 2013 $280
Jan 1 2014 $336
Feb 1 $402
March 1 $483
April 1 $580
May 1 $694
June 1 $835
July 1 $1002
Aug 1 $1202
Sept 1 $1442
Oct 1 $1730
Nov 1 2077
Dec 1 $2493
Jan 1 2015 - $2991

ATH $1125 to be reached on July 23

If you read any small print on any type of investment, there is one thing you will notice. PAST HISTORY DOES NOT IMPLY FUTURE PROSPECTS.

It does not matter what the price was and so on, what matters is how its weighing up right now. This crazy ass Chinese commi crap has to end before we see any stable direction on either side. It is bottom heavy at this time.

The ones who are buying and holding now will be trillionaires shortly

They would already have been billionaires if they were so smart to begin with. lol!
385  Economy / Speculation / Re: Haven't heard any FUD/rumors, whats causing the downward trend? on: April 28, 2014, 02:00:15 AM
The only sound way for BTC to have a healthy value is when it is practically adopted and used widely. So if you own BTC, try to use BTC for your transactions instead of fiat.

Whenever I use amazon, I buy an amazon gyft card using bitcoin and at exactly the same time, I buy the same amount of bitcoin from coinbase. I miss out on the 1% cash back from Discover, and may lose a percent on the bitcoin conversion (this part is variable), but usually come out ahead with the 3% in rewards points that gyft gives me.

Gyft cards come in increments of $5 so if I have, let's say, a $102 purchase on amazon, I'll buy a $100 card at gift and charge the remaining $2 to my credit card.

Nicely done!

I think ive read through 90% of this thread and it took me weeks.  lol

Anyway, i just bought a Terrmaminer iv!  Pretty damn stoked i must say.  Any tips?  The guy I bought it from says it's fully configured... should it just be a matter of plug and play?  It should be here *fingers crossed* tomorrow morning.

SO STOKED!

Not my first rodeo, but my first 1TH+ miner.

Good luck making your money back~

bought it 2nd hand...
Pretty sure I'lll be able to make my money back.  why the negativity?!

No negativity, just wishing you good luck in making your money back and if possible lots of profits too!
387  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: April 28, 2014, 12:47:27 AM
I can't speak for Dusty, but with current known and assumed information, someone took a bath on that unit.  The only set of scenarios that let that thing pay off at list price, you'd be better off buying coins with the money rather than the hardware.

lol!

Please hold on to your precious and we will see how you feel when it gets into the 300s.
389  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC drop to next level coming...bail the F out now! on: April 27, 2014, 03:37:51 PM
I think OP is trying to profit by creating FUD. As far as I can, the fundamentals and TA indicate a steady, level, sideways movement for the next few days at least. If anything, it will probably go up to $500 by end of April.

I don't need to make a silly post over here to profit. A small post is not going to affect the way BTC is going don't you think? Its not a sideways movement if you take into consideration volume, MACD, divergence and other things into effect.

Now, if I post a chart, people will complain that charts don't mean anything. If I post news, how am I supposed to post the trove of news and study on which this is based upon?

I would suggest you get an idea of indicators at a basic level using some charts.

Check marketcaps, bitcoin down to $450, whats causing the trend?

What's causing the trend??? Use your common sense, BTC has hardly any practical use and common people have no need to buy it. Its no longer even safe to be considered a long term investment. COMMON SENSE is causing the trend if anything.

The only sound way for BTC to have a healthy value is when it is practically adopted and used widely. So if you own BTC, try to use BTC for your transactions instead of fiat.
391  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC drop to next level coming...bail the F out now! on: April 27, 2014, 02:47:33 PM

Sorry, by fundamentals I mean news, prospects etc. By technicals, I mean analysis based on historical data, volume etc. Its on the edge and you may see something like going from 600 to 450.

Once again, not happy saying this but that's where I feel it stands.

392  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC drop to next level coming...bail the F out now! on: April 27, 2014, 02:35:30 PM
The lines have crossed and the drop to next level is coming along. I would strongly advice peeps to drop their load right about now while you got a chance.

I am not happy saying the above but that's what its about and a sincere shout out to homies~
what evidence makes you think so?

The same evidence which I quoted accurately last time when came down from the 1000s highs. Fundamentals and technicals together~
393  Economy / Speculation / Re: 200k Gox Coins in the Pipeline on: April 27, 2014, 02:34:10 PM

You will be waiting with open arms for a long time. It's a horribly complicated case. You might be able to buy one of those coins next year if lucky.

Yes, this could really spoil our rallye... not the next one and probably not the one after that, but the one in a few years. At my last job I had to deal with quite a few insolvent companies. The last assets of the most complicated case were liquidated 9 years after insolvency. And this case was dwarfsized compared to Gox.

What rally? The lines have crossed, hold on to your knickers on the way down...

Appears one of the four pumps is not running. The machine is sealed so I am basically waiting now to see how this gets fixed by Cointerra.

Its actually bottomed out nicely. Anywhere in $3xx would be a good time to get on board.

As I had mentioned...
