2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Question] Bitcoin More decentralized than Ethereum? on: July 17, 2023, 01:55:22 AM
I don't understand why Bitcoin is more decentralized than Ethereum even though you operate a full node with both.

To create the blocks:
Bitcoin PoW = miners
Ethereum PoS = Validator

With Bitcoin/Ethereum Full Node you can verify the blocks from the miners/validators.

So the only point why Bitcoin is more decentralized than Ethereum is:
The Bitcoin Full Node is cheaper than the Ethereum Full Node ?

Or is it the case with Ethereum that you cannot verify the blocks as a full node but only as a validator?
So:
Bitcoin miners create block / full nodes verify the block
Ethereum validator create block / validator also verify the block
this is an issue i'm interested in and am looking into it, maybe the price of bitcoin is 10 times more expensive than eth. It is also possible that bitcoin does not have a founder, a team as clear as ETH
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without money, the knowledge is a waste on: July 17, 2023, 01:49:34 AM
Yes!
you got the topic very correct and I do mean it because after my last thread, I was actually wondering  the essences of having all the knowledge  about bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large and still don't have the money to buy, I just feel its a waste of effort and such a person  with all his knowledge  will definitely miss out of the opportunities in bitcoin and I'm  on the opinion  that people still need to always have some form of money at all time to buy bitcoin especially  at every instance a dip arises and I want to know the essence of wanting to crowd ones brain Brain with so much about bitcoin  when such a person doesn't have any more to buy rather than seeking ways to buy?
Many people want to learn about bitcoin, but to hold 1 bitcoin, the amount is quite large, and most are scared when the market drops sharply.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sold the altcoins and invested in Bitcoin" on: July 17, 2023, 01:46:58 AM
I have been involved with Cryptocurrencies for the past almost 1 year. It's only been a few months since I joined the BitcoinTalk forum. I spend most of my time trading which I haven't spent much time on this forum. But I came to the Bitcointalk forum and observed various discussions about Bitcoin investment. Finally after much thought I analyzed Bitcoin and took the advice of a fellow knowledgeable investor. He gave me specific advice on the downsides of Bitcoin and market volatility.
After full consideration I sold all the wallets I had Altcoins invested in. and with the amount of funds I made from that, I bought bitcoins and kept them in the trust wallet.

Now my question is, is it good for my future that I have sold my altcoins and invested in bitcoins?

The trust wallet I put my invested bitcoins in, is the trust wallet safe for my bitcoins?

There are also many potential altcoins on the market. They may increase in price x5 x10 in the future, the problem here you have to find out clearly to not get involved in scam projects.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost bitcoins on: July 17, 2023, 01:43:14 AM
I read some old threads about lost Bitcoins ND this question has been on my mind ever since
If the lost Bitcoins were for instance recovered will the price of Bitcoin drop  because in theory it would affect the amount of Bitcoin in circulation which will lower it's price . I saw in those threads that lost Bitcoins are considered a donation to the Bitcoin network. so if my theory is correct then we should be happy those Bitcoins were lost.

If it is recovered and sold on the market I think it will be affected for a few days and bitcoin will be stable again. Over time, bitcoin is still rare
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: my small investment on: July 17, 2023, 01:39:13 AM
I bought a $14.55 bitcoin a few days ago when it was at 22k. Again Bitcoin came to 19k. However, I did not sell bitcoins. I was convinced that the price of Bitcoin would rise again. I buy $50 worth of bitcoins again. Got some profit on this small investment. Looking at Bitcoin 24k today. I will keep it for a long time and will not sell it now. I think at some point bitcoin will pump a lot

Since I can't invest more dollars, I don't have that much money. Still will invest as much as possible.
You should invest more and accumulate every month, the market will go up and down, so if you are a long-term investor you should limit your interest in the price of bitcoin, it will affect your psychology.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Bull/Bear Market Which Do you Prefer? on: July 17, 2023, 01:35:47 AM
If you aren't blind sided by hype, euphoria, etc. by the end of the bull run, bear runs can be great. A well-timed short can be extremely. profitable, not to mention the chance to accumulate as you said.

Personally, I prefer when number go up (bull run). I don't like the idea of shorting as it feels like a betrayal to the asset, especially if it's BTC. While accumulating is great, a bull run is needed to make it worth it. Usually the accumulation is a grind, more than an enjoyment.
The market will develop better when there are ups and downs. Eliminate panicking investors or scalping speculators. We should accumulate when the market is down and moving sideways for a long time
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Bull/Bear Market Which Do you Prefer? on: July 17, 2023, 01:33:05 AM
Almost everyome in the forum loves the bull market than the bear market though it has not scientifically proven but people love the bull market more than the bear market, and upon known this, there are some people who are interested in the bear market because they are using the bear to accumulate and store their wallets with enough bitcoins so I decided to know the opinion of the forum users. Among the two which of them do you prefer, is it the bull market or the Bear Market? And why?
Some are investing for the bull market  and once the bull market comes they offload the wallet. While.some are perpetual in the holding both in the bull and the bear. So where do you belong? Is the bull market is more important than the bear market? And if I may ask, which one is the best?

When the market is growing steadily, it will attract more new investors and liquidity will be more stable, whereas if the market falls, it will cause speculators to cut their losses. Prices can plummet (no one is happy to lose money)
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it Advisable joining Bitcoin signal group? on: July 17, 2023, 01:30:33 AM
I have been reffered to join some signal groups but considering how everyone is claiming to no almost everything about Bitcoin trading which actually they did not, which resulted for many people to lose their money because of Crypto signal groups, were as they put almost all their money thinking the signal is a sure, little did they know they were making a terrible mistake.

I could remember a Bitcoin signal group I joined, as someone that has less knowledge about trading and how sure the group signal works, so I decided to seat back and watch how the trade will work, on the contrary it moves opposite direction and that was not the first time, what they normally do was to get some screenshots from other successful traders and posted on there telegram group to draw more attention so people could pay before joining. Though from my findings from othe traders I was able to deduce that not all group signals are false that most times it works exactly the way they predicted and most time reversal.

So what do you guys think, let's share knowledge.
most of the signal firing groups study different methods, we should only refer to those groups. The decision is up to you, maybe they are right when the market goes up
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Positive thoughts and attitude towards Bitcoin. on: July 13, 2023, 01:36:18 AM
From the time I studied in class eight, I used to take money from my father, uncle, elder brothers on the occasion of religious festivals. After few years I kept saving money and with the saved money I started a quail and pigeon farm. After two years of service I got a fairly good benefit from them. One day I got to know about Bitcoin by meeting an elder brother while visiting a place. After learning about Bitcoin, my curiosity increased and gradually I tried to learn more about Bitcoin and became attracted to Bitcoin. A few months ago when the bitcoin market was 17 thousand USD I invested 80% of the dividend in the bitcoin market and I still hold it. When I do any work, I trust the right thinking and decision of my own morale towards that work. I think Bitcoin will be more valuable in the next few years and maybe it will reverse but I have confidence I hold it. When investing in something there is always risk involved. I think risk is the possibility of gaining or losing something valuable.
What year do you mean , as far as I know bitcoin first hit 17k in 2018, if you buy since then you are worth the effort. Hold bitcoin for longer, no one will be able to mine bitcoin in the future and it will be rarer
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost bitcoins on: July 12, 2023, 01:42:16 AM
Bitcoin price falling or not need many factors , If those wallets are opened can create an instant sell wave but the market will recover soon after
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Knowledgeable before Bitcoin investment is very Good on: July 12, 2023, 01:39:49 AM
We should only refer to the investment invitations, choose a project with clear transparency, do not invest all of your capital in one project. The advice comes from the referrer's greed for profit
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is better to invest in copy trading or bot on: July 12, 2023, 01:27:01 AM
Which is better to invest in copy trading or bot

And is there any other alternatives

I have 4k btc to invest
No form is safe, if you have invested you have to accept the risk. It is important that you allocate the most reasonable capital

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting Bitcoin on: July 10, 2023, 11:15:04 AM
Since I joined this forum I have always wanted to invest in Bitcoin however Bitcoin investments in my country is not easy because of our currency value and the government is not in much support am currently working on convincing my mom to accepting Bitcoin in her tailoring shop i Also intend on hodling those Bitcoins

I would appreciate any advice on this my move

You should not bring your parents to join this market, it has many risks not suitable for the elderly, they need a safer investment. You can learn and buy them when investors are selling bitcoin
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin Be Badly Hurt if Binance Goes Down? on: July 10, 2023, 07:44:22 AM
In your opinion, a famous person will have an inert influence on the market. Take a look at FTX, it was the collapse of a major exchange, it caused bitcoin to plummet from 69k =>> 15k
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC on: July 10, 2023, 07:27:06 AM

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you Have Any Bitcoin Stories from a Decade Ago? on: July 09, 2023, 01:41:24 PM
The matter of whether he still holds those bitcoins until the 2018 bull run, if he holds them it's a fortune enough for him to have a pretty decent life, but how many people can afford it? belief in bitcoin at that time???

20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin history on: July 09, 2023, 01:35:16 PM
#Bitcoin was created 14 years ago to give people across the planet access to a form of money that cannot be inflated nor minipulated",
Dennis Porter founder of Satoshi Act Fund, testified yesterday to the Missouri House of Representatives

It was developed by new modern technology thinkers with P2P clue, when it was first introduced the price was less than a dollar, few people occupied the opportunity and many despite the project. BTC grow from zero to hero in few years of existence and afterwards busted in price in 2009, many begins to invest in the project and in 2017 the price moved to $11k, at this point BTC already made many millionaires and billionaires and many still invest at high price value and achieved good journey to this point.

There is still hope and enough package to come from BTC, keep holding.

As far as I know in 2017 bitcoin increased in value thanks to retail investors contributing to bitcoin reaching a peak of $19k and the day after that in 2018 bitcoin plummeted to $4k. At the moment my team invests heavily in bitcoin and there are already many millionaires who believe in bitcoin
