21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.8 Required Update on: September 04, 2014, 11:19:41 PM

Come on doge.  Back to 300 Satoshi.  That's only 1,000%.  Lol.

I would love to play a different game:  Let's watch BlueCoin hit 1,000 Satoshi and holler, YEAAAA!

Doesn't that sound like a much more fun game?  lol.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.7 Available on: August 20, 2014, 08:17:47 AM

Anybody have a strong feeling doge and LTC are about to be added as real currencies to Coinbase and BitPay?

That would take LTC to $100 and doge to over 1,000 Satoshi.

Let's rock!

Who here thinks doge will breach 20 in the next couple of days and if so how low do you think it will go?  I think it's gonna hit 15 then bounce hard on massive buying.  I would be a buyer at anything under 20.  This is a steal right here anyway.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEWB] NewbieCoin - Decentralized Crowdfunding Platform released at first! on: August 12, 2014, 06:52:28 AM

Finally, someone thought of us Newbies.  lol, props to you devs - this should be a welcome sight to all the newbies coming on everyday.

Decentralized communication?  I'm really curious how this could work as far as the blockchain is concerned.  Will have to take a closer look.

As always digital, great to have your insight.  Here's to an even bigger crypto boom this fall.

Cheers, brother!

cheers !

I think the next "boom" will be trending we will start to see the quality trend, there could be a boom , but i think we will see rising trends.

Given the sheer number of alts this time around I think we will see some strong upward trending as well.  But after the Bitcoin ETF goes live, later this year - the sheer number of billions of dollars which will rush into Bitcoin will create the mother of all bubbles in Bitcoin and in alts as well due to a spillover & crowding out effect.

It is that ETF which will drive the madness more than anything else later this and especially next year.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Black Tuesday for altcoins! on: August 12, 2014, 06:26:56 AM

Yeah, it's called manipulation.  Whales want a ton of LTC before it gets listed on Coinbase as a real currency.  That would take LTC to $100 within 30 days and it should happen later this year as Bitcoin is already too expensive for a lot of cheaper transactions.  Doge will probably be added too for micro transactions since LTC will be worth north of $100 which is why doge is being taken under 20.

Many of those coins only had $5K to $50K volume in a 24H.  Then came along Stellar which did almost $500K in one day, Ethereum with the cash slurping machine at the front door and other odd coin or two which is undergoing huge gains.

Not inconceivable that people are cashing out their alternates to invest what they perceive to be better opportunities (whether that's a long term hold or a pump-n-dump).

This theory makes a lot of sense.  The alt market was already shaky.  It wouldn't take much to make it collapse as selling begets selling.  These events could have provided that catalyst to create the spark in mass selling of alts.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Black Tuesday for altcoins! on: August 12, 2014, 06:09:44 AM
many altcoins are just having a meltdown... does anybody know the reason?..

Because most of them are shitcoins with nothing new or innovative, and just copies of each other?
Then how do you explain DRK falling?
Surely it has nothing new to provide.  Roll Eyes

Seriously?  What does dark have to offer beside bogus anon tech?

You want real anon tech, your best shot is Cryptonote, the rest are all gimmick monkey anon coins.  Dark will be tomorrow's Aurora.

So how many total max Quark coin do we have now?  Cause the PoW phase has been over for quite some time, right?

useful site.

Hey, you still a big believer and holder in quark?  You sure called it right last year.  Hoping I hit the next quark this year and who knows, maybe it will be quark again.  If Max Keiser bought back in that would be all but a sure thing.

I think Max is pushing his own crypto, Quark has a grass roots of supporters, that have educated themselves of crypto fundamentals - i think the next breakthroughs will be in simplifying the use aspects and usability then moving forward crowd funding.

i think that there will be a group of crypto in the future that have respect in the society.

i think some of them will salvage thier brand by moving towards Quark parameters, also i think Quark could further evolve (in a way that does not effect unit total or inflation) but further strengthens security.

So yo think Max is still gonna push MAXCoin after that humiliating pump and dump?  I still can't get over that.  It would be good to know if he still owns that coin.

As for quark - thanks for your input.  Should have followed your lead last year on that one.

Well, that's good to know. I just dropped my buy-in price.  Way too many coins out there to pay that much.  Once these eager buyers are done buying it should drop.

Aha you can sell it for that much, go ahead and try Smiley

Just a little note to Stunna, seen this guy spamming alot, like little posts such as "lmao"

Deserves to be kicked for trying to abuse the opportunity he has.

I know that guy.  Mr.CashKing, he's legit.

He's got nearly 80,000 legit followers on Twitter.  I wouldn't ban him, he can drive more traffic to primedice with one single tweet than we can in an entire month.  lol.

What exactly is xxx%?  It would be nice to know the lowest low so far to use as a baseline.  Anybody know what the lowest point was so far?   Thanks!
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin TANKING...opinions on future outlook both nearterm and long term? on: August 12, 2014, 05:33:56 AM

Put it this way I saw the average 24hr vol traded of ltc stay pretty low of late, and was tempted myself to dump on the open market with the sole purpose of increasing my holdings Wink someones just hit that button and done it for us Smiley

no complaints here, just sayin it is what it is.....

I think Kelsey knows what she's talking about.  Especially when it comes to Public Bitcoin ETFs.   Wink

Wow.

Free fall mode.  Losing 20% of your value in a single day for litecoin is definitely not commonplace.  If it breeches 5 bucks by the end of the week, I'm going in.

If $6 doesn't hold then I think it's definitely going under $5 and if that happens the bottom will fall out and it will hit $3 although I think it would rebound very quickly as the smart big money knows that's a steal.  So be ready to buy if you're gonna buy.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Black Tuesday for altcoins! on: August 12, 2014, 04:18:08 AM
Bitcoin is going down also.

If all alt coins are denominated in bitcoin, shouldn't this be considered normal?

No, because the coins go down by a factor of 10!

Exactly.  But also, when Bitcoin pops hard most alts go up by a factor of 10-100.  The key is buy them at the bottom which I think is now...or maybe in a week or two.  We're definitely near the bottom I would say but I thought so last month.  lol.
