I have not heard anything about this game, but it seems very interesting. I have already seen games like this, for example, cryptokitties or something like that. I think this is very entertaining and helps to understand the system.

It's nice to see blockchain games transitioning to games that the majority of people might be interested in playing instead of solely crypto enthusiasts. I still think it will be a big struggle to get people to transition away from their traditional gaming. Will the game be free to play or will there be costs involved? If it's not free that will be another thing that I feel will hold it back.
Sadly, none of the blockchain games is free at the moment because of the gas fees which are always present. Right now these games appeal to crypto enthusiasts and those who like to play with money, but that's still a pretty big community and there are so many of them who haven't tried a single game just because they were all about gambling. Battle Royale changes that and promises to add actual gameplay and strategy to the game, so we'll see how that turns out. I don't think this will hold that many people back because people love the idea of being able to earn money from playing games. Right, but this game will be free to play because there will be no gas fees involved? Or will there be other costs. I think the lure of paying to play but having earning potential only applies to so many people. If it's one of those games whereby whoever spends the most has an advantage then that will discourage many people, unfortunately that's a majority of online games nowadays. I agree that the model is flawed, but that's the main attraction of "crypto games" at the moment, the fact that you can earn money by playing. Now, of course, the money you win has to come from somewhere so it is obvious that you'll also have to spend money first in order to have a chance to win more. There are a couple of games that do not follow this pattern, but most of them don't get too far. The thing is, this model works at the moment and this is what most of the community wants, more opportunities to earn money. The difference with Battle Royale is that they are actually adding gameplay to this model, which is something new and worked out pretty well with the Crypto Tower(the game lasted for liked 3 weeks and had a volume of over 10k ETH). As for the advantage for "whoever spends most", sure, that's true, but only if they spend it right. Even "whales" can make mistakes and lose all their money, and since there will be four teams, new players always have a chance. |

This is not my project, it is theirs, the developers of ETH.Town, I am merely promoting it. And yes, they truly are in demand, that's why I hope this one will move things to the next level. 0,05 ETH just to register in the game which has not even launched? That's not the good way to start the things running...After all this trash in the crypto gaming industry there hardly ever be a lot of players willing to pay for another pig in a poke. You misunderstood, that fee is for name registration if you want to refer people before the game launches. You don't have to pay any fee in order to play the game, but you will have to spend Ethereum since that's what it is played with. |

Looks quite similar to another ethereum based game called SKARA. Not trying to put people off but some tried to invest in it and lost basically all their investment. Got dumped on mercatox and never recovered. This one might be better though

Hopefully Ethereum network won't be clogged like before when crypto cats madness started. I like gaming and capabilities of the blockchain but what i like more is a working and cheap (not some extreme gas prices) ethereum network
The gameplay part will run on Loom, so no fees and no clogging. Only the FOMO part will run on Ethereum, but that is not so gas intensive, so things should run smooth. |

I really like games. Maybe for now moving players from the old version (android and ios) to the blockchain is not so easy plus not all players are willing to waste money, the battle royale of one of the games is quite popular. I a little doubt even though on the other hand the battle royale game is not the same as crypto kitties that launched last year, because as usual every game has popular time and will decrease by time. But as usual we never know and maybe for spenders to be interested in playing, especially rewards eth in every battle
This will be the first multiplayer game with actual gameplay. Players will have to form teams and plan accordingly in order to win, so it will be really interesting. It is something way different from crypto kitties and even if it dies out after some time, it will set new precedents in the crypto gaming space, so this will definitely be an amazing experience. |

Been a much smoother, less turbulent experience overall.
Its amazing how involved the community is witht his project, seems like almost everyone is participating and adding their 2cents everyday on how improve the game, and all the best suggestions get implemented daily.
Almost no one is selling too, which is a big plus in my book. Everyone is super motivated to get this to skyrocket.

Pretty amazing- the team raised over 100 eth in less than 12 hours and still growing. One of the most successful game presales to date. This is definitely a project to be bullish on.
