81  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I continue hodl my Bitcoin? on: August 19, 2018, 12:51:37 PM
I bought some bitcoin in March 2017, sell half of it in Dec 2017 and hodl the other half since then. The current downward trend seem to last for a very long time and I'm quite upset about it. What do you guys think? Should I hodl or sell all my BTC now?

If you have something in mind about selling all your coins left, i think you should do that by the end of this year. The price now is not very good and only worth investing in, noy selling now.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The FALL OF BITCOIN on: August 19, 2018, 12:48:07 PM
It is very sad to say that a technology like this would come to a big tragedy
Bitcoin has the potential to be great but it has become a weapon of Greed

The real use of bitcoin as a payment system is just a fantasy
But what happens in reality, it is just a pump and dump coin like the rest

The only coin that is using blockchain technology the right way is USDT or Tether
most other coins are just scams and not meant for adaptability

A currency is something that can be used for daily basis rather than just an investment
majority of people who buy bitcoin is just for investment and not used as a payment itself

Never the less
HAIL HYDRA!

You made some points there, back in the day when bitcoin had started a way of making fast profit, the coin was already in some really bad people. All they want were manipulate the market and twist bitcoin until it's completely dried and then dump it. Although i still see the possibilities of this coin, i think all we have to do is stay positive and don't let anything to make you doubt.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why all coins are dropping? on: August 18, 2018, 03:57:46 PM
Mainly by the people, some people lose their faith at bitcoin and attract people to some other projects than investing in bitcoin. But everything has its ups and downs so the drop of bitcoin is nothing to be concern of, what you need is trust its value and it will grow again.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: August 18, 2018, 03:47:45 PM
Bitcoin is the coin started it all so currently there's no competitor against it. But we can't say for sure in the future it will be that way, i think there will be other coins to take bitcoin's place.
85  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mine Bitcoin with your TV! on: August 18, 2018, 03:45:13 PM
What i concern is the electric bills you get by the end of the first month of using a TV to mine bitcoin lol. The mining process basically needs a huge cooling system and huge amount of electricity to make it work
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin, Who really wins? on: August 17, 2018, 02:49:15 PM
that was the choice they make and sure it's a poor choice, they didn't have faith and patience in bitcoin, when it goes down they panic and lose all the money they invest in bitcoin. There's nothing really to say here unless there's a good thing that the market will become purer for real investors to play.
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to $7000 today? on: August 17, 2018, 02:33:36 PM
i don't think so, but by the end of this month or next month bitcoin will back to 7.000$. And also, what we need is not always what we get so don't keep your hope for those.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin online payments on: August 17, 2018, 02:26:59 PM
i do not think big companies or global organizations are gonna accept bitcoin as payment for their employees, to make it so bitcoin has to prove it's value and potential to the world or this will never happen.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future Of Crypto Market Without Bitcoin? on: August 17, 2018, 02:23:06 PM
right now bitcoin still have huge impact on the cryptocurrency market so if bitcoin suddenly disappears i think there's no good future for the other coins.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People say altcoins won't survive on: August 16, 2018, 01:42:35 PM
altcoins are still have strong impacts on the market besides bitcoin so they will survive, people who said you that literally haven't done their homework.
91  Economy / Speculation / Re: Patience is all we need on: August 16, 2018, 01:39:40 PM
just one simple word and it seems too hard to some people, i don't really know. If you can not keep patience and have faith in what you invest, then why would you invest in the first place at all ?
92  Economy / Speculation / Re: I DON'T CARE IF BTC DECREASES IN PRICE NOW on: August 16, 2018, 01:36:58 PM
let them be, bitcoin will adjust itself and will grow in no time. To play in the market you need to have patience and goals, if it comes to the right price then sell it, don't hold it too hard for better profit because when it goes down you're the one who lost.
93  Economy / Economics / Re: WHEN WILL PEOPLE LEARN? on: August 16, 2018, 01:32:09 PM
good profit in short amount of time is what dazzled their eyes and scammers are really know how to make it look like it's legit. Best way to avoid this is by experience or investigate the project further for legal information.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready for cryptocurrency? on: August 16, 2018, 01:26:58 PM
Although there are a few countries who uses bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies now, I cannot help but wonder if the world is truly ready for this digital currency? It will certainly be hard to replace all currencies in the world but it could happen in a decade or so, perhaps even less? Still the question is, is the world ready? I think if this happens it might be one of the biggest changes that will happen worldwide.

the governments can't tax people through bitcoin, they also can't trace the source of the money if there's some illegal activities so i don't think bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are gonna be worldwide.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens if bitcoin price falls below the cost of mining it? on: August 15, 2018, 02:37:01 PM
Would bitcoin be able to recover? Are we safe since 80% of bitcoin has already been mined?

I remember it happened once in 2011 (https://www.themarysue.com/price-bitcoin-falls-below-mining/amp/).

if that happened i don't think anyone would want to waste their time investing on something can't make any profit. But since 80% of bitcoins have already been mined the possibilities of bumping in the that situation again is very low so we have nothing to fear of.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency on: August 15, 2018, 02:31:56 PM
Can cryptocurrency become universal means of exchange. I mean can it be a global legal tender like the physical money

cryptocurrency, unlike any currencies it can be easily manipulated by some powerful people or used as anonymous money to buy something illegal so i really can't see the globalize of cryptocurrency.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: When will people feel comfortable using BTC ? on: August 15, 2018, 02:24:46 PM
the people who have used bitcoin as a currency, not for investments are the people who don't want anyone to keep track on their money and transactions. And most of them are terrorists who want to buy weapons or dirty highly ranked officer in the government who use it as the money laundering.
98  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency or Stock Market? on: August 15, 2018, 02:20:17 PM
As we all know, stock market had been there for a very long time now and on the other hand, cryptocurrency is a fast rising trend when it comes to the world of trade and commerce. Some may prefer to invest in crypto because of high returns but some will still go with stock market and play it safe.
In your opinion, what will be the best option to invest your money on?

your question is depended on the time to ask because there's nothing the best option since they're similar to each other. The bitcoin market is a easy profit but also highly risks ahead, while the stock market is much very alike but you can keep track of the things you invest on easier.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LIKE IT OR NOT, BITCOIN IS AN INVESTMENT on: August 15, 2018, 02:16:05 PM
                              In an economic sense,
An INVESTMENT is the purchase of goods that are not consumed today but are used in the future to create wealth.
                                        In finance
An INVESTMENT is a monetary asset purchased with the idea that the asset will provide income in the future or will later be sold at a higher price for a profit.

I really don't want to turn these into an economics class but the both definition of what investments are clearly should settle the argument of whether BTC is truly an investment or not.

nobody says bitcoin isn't an investment, if you buy something and it show some good use in the future then that's an investment.
100  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach 10k$ at this time? on: August 13, 2018, 05:32:45 PM
BTC is trying to grow up and I think BTC correction period is over and it is time to break all previous record and finally reach new value. So guya what's your perdition about BTC?! Please explain your perdition.

that's what people want right now since bitcoin has grow from 6000$ to 8000$ recently so the possibilities for it to grow to 10000$ is very much possible.
