FINAL PAYOUT COMPLETE

Wow. What a ride. With the final payout, MiningCo.ETF is CLOSED.

Thank you all for your patience and support throughout the entire process. I have done my best to run MiningCo.ETF with openness, honesty and integrity. If you feel that I have done so, please add me to your trust ratings. I would appreciate it very much.

With OgNasty's acceptance and payment for our AM shares, all assets have been liquidated.

Now we can start Liquidation payout.

Here is the spreadsheet with claimed shares. Search for your address to find your payout. If shares were not claimed, their payout has been forfeited and will be divided equally to the rest of the shareholders.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1O_lA8IFD5q6N-u7KTPcDGZdDAkPuEwXoKYAjfPoUuL0

Our total assets are now:  31.99066757 BTC
I am going to take 0.0005 BTC and use it for Bitcoin TX fees since this payout will have many inputs/outputs.

Total to be paid to shareholders is: 31.99016757 BTC

The total claimed shares are: 2107

Each share is entitled to a liquidation payout of: 0.0151828 BTC

Final payout will be made within 48 hours (but I expect to get this done within the next 2 hours).

We should set a deadline and have a backup plan in case the AM shares are never transferred.

The obvious one seems to be a penultimate payout for everything but AM, and a possible final payout pending Friendcat getting around to fulfilling his obligations.

I fear we may have to consider this option.
I want to get this done and over with, as I'm sure you all are. I want to payout everything in one final payment. Mostly because I want to close out MiningCo. Also because a second small payment would just end up as dust to many shareholders.

If we want to put a time limit-we can-but we also need to decide if we want to just chalk up AM as a loss at that time.
Even if we decide to have a second payout if AM ever gets transferred, we will need to set a date on that too.

I'm open to ideas and possible dates.
4  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC and BF] MININGCO.ETF - Closing on: January 11, 2015, 02:38:22 PM

Final payment will be made when all assets have been liquidated.

patience, guys Smiley

Unfortunately patience is needed at this time. I was really hoping to get this done before New Years.

Despite selling out AMHASH 1-3, AM may never pay out another (non-dust) dividend.  Has Carnth provided the signed transfer?

I sent the Signed transfer for AM shares to firedcat back on Dec 8.
I haven't heard anything about AM since then.

During that time, we have collected a few more "donations" from our Nasty Fans seats.
Today I sent a Signed message to have the Nasty Fans seats transferred. I expect Nasty Fans transfer to go very smoothly and quickly as nonnakip runs a tight ship at Nasty Fans. Payment for Nasty Fans seats will be sent to the public MiningCo address.
5  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC and BF] MININGCO.ETF - Closing on: December 13, 2014, 11:59:58 PM
An agreement has been reached and a transfer of assets has been initiated.  I will provide payment to Carnth upon completion of the transfer of assets.

That's fantastic!  I hope it doesn't take forever to get FriendCat to move the AM shares.

OgNasty and I have the transfer information and "paperwork" for ASICMINER complete. We are just waiting of friedcat at this point.
The transfer of Nasty Seats will be complete very soon.

After these assets are transferred, payment will be made directly to the public address. I hope this will be complete by year's end.
That will complete the liquidation of all MiningCo's assets.
After that, I will post the final BTC amount of the fund and the expected payout per share.

We're nearly done!

Congrats on the new job.

Thank you.

I will give you 2.44 BTC for the fund's remaining assets so you can pay out your shareholders and close this fund.  This offer is good for a few days, should you decide to accept it.

I will accept your offer. Please see the PM from me.
7  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC and BF] MININGCO.ETF - Closing on: December 02, 2014, 05:08:07 AM
Liquidation is certainly an option and I am also willing to purchase the remaining assets of the fund to initiate that process.
That's great news!  Thanks.  Now if only Carnth would come back and read your message.

If anyone has a back channel to our dear leader, please drop him a line!

Hello.
I'm back. I'm sorry I was away for so long. Consider it a sabbatical.

Yes, this is my Google Plus account. And if you didn't put it together, you can email me: [my forum username]@gmail.com

I apologize for dropping off the face of Bitcointalk for so long. I had a lot of personal things to take care of. One of which was getting a new job... at Coinbase.

I want to put any fears to rest: I'm not dead. I did not run off with any of the fund's assets.

The first thing I did on the forum was check this thread and make this response. I do have a number of PMs and I will check them after I finish this post.

GMP shares have been liquidated.
We had 20 shares. They sold for 0.11 BTC each.

After exchange trade fees this net totals 2.1967 BTC.

This amount has been added to the "Bitcoin Reserve" in the spreadsheet.

Along with accrued GMP dividends, 2.2963051 BTC has been transferred to the public address.

Thanks for the info. Is there an ETA on the closure of the fund?

We still have Nasty Fans and ASICMINER shares to liquidate.

I was hoping the the price drop of BTC would help the BTC price of Nasty. Instead the price of Nasty has dropped over the last month.

I'm trying not to take a big hit (BTC) wise, but I may have to just sell at a large loss than I wanted to.

Again, if you or anyone you know is willing to pay a fair price for ASICMINER shares, please have them PM me.

How do you go for noise? Do you have all of this in a garage or a spare room at the end of your house or something? Got any updated images of everything running? Would be interested to have a look at it all.

I dont set the fee, the bitcoin daemon does. Sometimes is zero, sometimes is 0.0001 and some others 0.0003 or even 0.0005
Problem is some pools use OLD daemon version, that is why it could be postponed abit(in case the fee is zero). The 0.0001 we"charge" doesnt go in our pockets! Its to even out the withdrawal fees.

For instance, this withdrawal had 0.0002 fee(user paid 0.0001 though) -->   https://blockchain.info/tx/8ef7bab3876b0c6fab7bae0f8798ce30cc1082adb7c33f49dff0d4bcde1ca211
Hmmm, I see and I totally get why you charge the fee. No questions asked about that. Zero fee transactions will always be a special case though. I highly doubt that this will change in the future. Can't you force the daemon to use a standard fee?

unf no. Only way it would be to"hack" the original daemon, and "recompile" it. and cross fingers that it wont fuckup something in the proccess. We prefer to leave things as they are, the way it should be. eventually the pools will update, and that problem will disappear Smiley

Bitcoin transaction fees are a magical mix of how many, how old and how much the inputs are.
The up-to-date daemon automatically calculates the priority of a TX and assigns a fee. It looks like DB is doing this.
However, some pools are very stingy and don't adhere to standard practices. They can reject transactions that have 0 fee, even though the priority on the transaction is high enough to be included (the inputs are old and large enough).
For now, the only thing you can do if your TX doesn't include a fee is to wait for a pool that adheres to standard practices to include your TX in a block.
Miners can refuse to mine on "stingy" pools. Then they will have less of the hash rate. This will give pools adhering to standard practices more of the hash rate.

... Sorry, I got a little off topic there.

I keep sending bets and the wining bets dont get multiplied . look https://blockchain.info/address/1M8sgQokVvshrGcqJFNDnXhsMvG9KvECQ5
I lost money on this.
https://blockchain.info/address/18eE8SQz24cDGS9DEJWE3BPKjH68kr5Vwg second address .
Please fix it and give me my winnings so I can continue playing.

In your later transactions (see link example), it looks like your bet was returned to you (minus the 0.0001 BTC TX fee).

The only time I have see bets returned like this is when you bet over the limit.  I don't know what is going on.  I would hold off on all bets until SatoshiDICE has a statement.

I screenshotted more of his action:

Edit: notice how he made SEVEN 30 BTC bets from 9:19:34 to 9:19:42 - seven huge bets in 8 seconds.

I don't know of any other site where that would even be possible.

Betting 210 BTC in 8 seconds .... Balls of steel to be sure.
From the screen shot it looks like is was around a 30 BTC gain over all.

I haven't visited your site yet (I suppose I shouldn't visit gambling sites while Im at work) but:

Do you have a "Stop After X Loss" feature for auto betting...and does the "Stop After X Loss" feature work...unlike Prime Dices?

Yes. And it works for me.

You can set a limit at which the robo betting will not go below.

For example, you deposit 1.0 BTC.
You can set the bot to stop if the next bet would take your balance below 0.5 BTC

Same if you want to stop after winning a certain amount.

P.S. Did we mention that TONS of updates are coming this month? They are tested the moment we speak, like, you know, tested-tested. Just to make sure we are online!  Grin

Lies. I've seen how dice sites are tested: you put the new code live and see if it works. If not, you change it randomly and try again. You guys deploy fully working code. I smell witchcraft at work.

Probable via resent "e-mail leak" few days ago when e-mail of few % of CRYPTO-TRADE clients was compromised.

This sounds likely. My email was definitely on that list. And, it's not hard to guess my email address.

I did not expect to be that high on the list.

Something I was considering for Just-Dice, but never actually implemented, was allowing people to "borrow" coins to invest. It would work like this:

All investments risk up to 0.5% per bet, but you are allowed to "borrow" up to N times the amount you have deposited (for some N, maybe 10).

Allowing people to borrow on margin seems like an interesting idea. It certainly would set dicebitco.in apart from the others.

Giving people the freedom to invest with a 10X Kelly seems like the way to go, but I fear that this could go bad so fast. It would "artificially" inflate the bankroll and max bet.
However, I wouldn't mind actually letting people really borrow from me for a percentage if the "auto-buy-to-cover" feature were enabled.
