monero.xminingpool.com/ is reliable to mine in? or what is the best pool with lowest fee (1% or less) that allows high ping from america or has low ping for america

I would definitely stay away from that xminingpool.

As far as ping you can check for yourself.

2 pools in the US are moneroworld.com and monerohash.com and both list some other pools.  There is also an incomplete list on the first page of this thread.
the minmum withdrawl for one of those is 1XMR I guess if there is any with a modifiable withdrawl amount

what pools have lowest mining fee? or whats the opinion on these pools?

minexmr.com
minergate.com
monero.xminingpool.com
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v9.2 on: December 21, 2016, 12:24:36 PM
rx up 6%, fury 5%
power consumption jump 1%

This is my output :

Claymore v9.2

MSI R9 390X = 320 Sol
XFX RX480 8GB = 236 Sol
Windforce R9 Fury =316 Sol

Thanks Claymore!

My R9 nano is 3% faster.

the R9 Fury /R9 Nano are stock clocked? memory timmings with mod?

the 390x clocks are?

45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v8.0 on: November 25, 2016, 10:06:26 PM
I don`t know how exact you can adjust memory access to GPU memory, but ppl that compare and cry here thet RX 4xx should be fast as 390x should first learn that any architecture is different, the driver is accessing GPU memory as best as it can, if zcash need many small accesses and if 256bit bus is not wide enough its logical that 384 or 512bit bus will be better
Fiji should be faster, but maybe code isnt be suited for HBM

I make an update, now you will see much less stale shares. Really many work, can't read all posts on this forum.
And begin test a buttons (from first post), coming soon.
if you could make the button to reduce payout and withdraw and make the pool compatible with genoil miner more people would be using it
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v6.4 (Windows/Linux) on: September 03, 2016, 07:24:48 PM

GRS is dying. Do not add it to Claymore.

Based on the profitability chart I see , Groelst with 23MH/s and Eth at 18MH/s Groelst Coin is close to eth gains

but volume market cap is barely 2BTC
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / is dual Ethash mining possible? on: September 02, 2016, 02:09:17 PM
I have seen ethereum and similar coin are good for mining with GPUs but Can a miner program do same algorythm with different coins at the same time?
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v6.4 (Windows/Linux) on: September 02, 2016, 02:05:03 PM
Claymore do you think Groelst or NooScrypt Can be added for dual mining?
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Which are the best ETC pools? on: August 20, 2016, 02:24:34 PM
I have been searching for several etc pools and I wonder which would be the best pool for 40MH/s, whichever has the higher profit and reliability?

what about minergate, etc ethermine org, ethc coin-miners info, etc miningpoolhub, etc supernova?

is there any better choice?

Claymore, Any way to support ETC and ETH dual mining ?

It's similar to mine ETH and EXP at once, for example. No way.
then dual eth-hash cant be done?

anyone using an AMD card, has GPU core clocks spikes if the card has boost? is there a way to tell the miner to use a certain frequency?
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Miner Doesnt keep GPU/Volt settings form MSI AB on: May 16, 2016, 04:46:24 PM
I have been trying to undervolt and underclock a HD 7970 from MSI but the miner loads the dags and the gpu frequency is stock inders 900 or 890MHz and the vddc is higher than stock(reading form GPUz)

I am using 15.11.1 beta, win10 64 bit, either on ethminer or genoil miner

So if i read this correct, your core clock doesn't go higher than 900? Or what do you mean?

Driver should be fine.

It's probably an afterburner setting you're missing.

Put your ab settings like this:

it has to do with windows 10 messing up the value i think, can you try on widnows 7?

Don't think it's Win10, never gave me issues. I had more issues with 7 though :p

In the MSI afterburner, in the general setting, you need to tick "Force constant voltage". So that you can change the voltage.

I wouldn't do that.

Force constant voltage <-- it will, like it states, force a constant voltage, so in other words, the higher your core clock goes, the more voltage your card will need to keep performing, when you select this, it will force the voltage you give it and will in most cases just fail because the card doesn't get enough power.

Did you flash this card before?

A bad rom could cause this yes.
the core/memory clock and voltage that MSI sets arent being used by the miner so it uses stock clocks and voltage
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Miner Doesnt keep GPU/Volt settings form MSI AB on: May 14, 2016, 03:26:16 PM
the thing is the frequency remains the same so It could a big with MSI AB

Here are my speeds with Windows 7 and various AMD GPUs.

Stock Ethminer: 73MHS
Version 1.0.4: 73MHS
Version 1.0.6: 67MHS
Version 1.0.7: 73MHS

I used

--cl-local-work 64 --cl-global-work 12288 -t 5

Maybe someone knows how to tweak the latest version for faster speeds
try 16384 without local work
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Rebuilding my rig on: March 29, 2016, 03:06:20 PM
nano fury x or nvidia 970, from nvidia only 970 is very good, and for amd you have more choice, even the old 280 or 7970 are very good for mining etheruem

280x or 7970 are affected by the DAG size quite a lot.

Do you notice the hash rate drop of the R9 390 or the R9 Fury series due to DAG increase?
how a 3GB card is going to be affected even 2GB card are fine...
