I caught 100x and I have watched it going to 1200x but sorry to say every time it touched highest I didnt see any bet. I meant to say it goes alone without having placed bets . May be some one succeed to catch that high but I didnt see.

The reason you never see anyone cash that high is because no one has any balls.

Historically there have been a few players who cashed out that high. However, mostly doing dust bets. These are all historic cashouts at or above 1000x:
Code:

The wager is in bits. Of these 220 had the biggest profit: 99.9k bits + 1.89 bits bonus in game 1009149.

Talking about that stuff and then cowbay cashes out at 6,666.66x with a 16 bit wager. 106k bits profit. Kudos!

23  Economy / Gambling / Re: www.Buttcoins.com Free BTC, LTC, DOGE and CLAM Lotto! Official thread! on: February 11, 2015, 10:33:33 PM
I just found one of my private keys on buttcoins.com. It's on page 22819940191606639116975694561815449148405524752991894461049828182848439406xx

Fill in the two missing digits and steal my coins. Smiley

Really?

Starting at page 600, the first exponent is: a67d92e70fd6e022b17178ff22269fc1bdf52048bbad1f366b7ab76cb37919d8
on page 699 the last exponent is a67d92e70fd6e022b17178ff22269fc1bdf52048bbad1f366b7ab76cb37926bb. Subtract them, and we have about 3300 keys to check.

So I've looped through, generated them all, import them into bitcoind: http://privatepaste.com/9513fa2a9f  and then run a full scan. It doesn't find anything Sad

You imported the privkeys uncompressed. It was however in a wallet with compressed pubkey: https://blockchain.info/tx/6975f36ce09792ec82513dec0f535fc0f26e8b037d687e9067b298d13f517ddb
24  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing BitcoinMinesweeper.com - Win BTC playing the ★real★ minesweeper on: February 09, 2015, 02:51:14 PM
I notice the game multipliers have been lowered a bit. (...) So what is the new house edge now?

Last week we improved our solver. As a result, we now use more realistic multipliers.
In fact, our edge was even a bit negative during the previous month! The house edge
we are aiming for is still 2%.

Best regards,

Negative edge, that's the first time I've seen that, let alone that you openly admit to it!

I really like this concept, refreshing to see that skill is factored in.

Yes I can confirm, the house edge was negative in the beginning. But can you recheck your calculations? I think the edge is now significantly higher than 2%. What sample sizes did you use to determine the payouts?
25  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitSolitaire - Bitcoin Solitaire for the win! on: February 09, 2015, 01:13:39 PM
Sorry for delay - some payments are manualy accepted - and it was weekend, i have family Smiley

Could you also look into what happened to my deposit? I already wrote you a support email but you haven't replied. My username on your site is Steve.
26  Economy / Gambling / Re: PocketRocketsCasino.eu - 191BTC max payout! New daily lottery on: February 05, 2015, 10:57:42 AM
Now I get a little over 10% house edge for each game, assuming that the 10 BTC prize isn't shared, and even higher if it is shared.

Quote
pick 6 at 0.001000 per bet; chances of hitting 3: 1.765040% 4: 0.096862% 5: 0.001845% 6: 0.000007% payout per unit bet: 0.8943 edge 10.569%
pick 7 at 0.002040 per bet; chances of hitting 3: 2.873322% 4: 0.215499% 5: 0.006307% 6: 0.000050% payout per unit bet: 0.8953 edge 10.470%
pick 8 at 0.003730 per bet; chances of hitting 3: 4.268935% 4: 0.410475% 5: 0.016419% 6: 0.000200% payout per unit bet: 0.8945 edge 10.545%
pick 9 at 0.006300 per bet; chances of hitting 3: 5.934861% 4: 0.702812% 5: 0.036042% 6: 0.000601% payout per unit bet: 0.8925 edge 10.754%

Do you get the same?

Yes I get the same numbers if the jackpot wasn't split:
  10.569475%, 10.470033%, 10.545384%, 10.753974%
27  Economy / Gambling / Re: PocketRocketsCasino.eu - 191BTC max payout! New daily lottery on: February 04, 2015, 08:37:45 PM
No. You can't match 7 8 or 9 as only 6 numbers are drawn. So you have more numbers to try and match 6. Better odds.

Thanks for the clarification. I just did the math and got house edges ranging from 59.2157% to 99.0733%. Shocked

28  Economy / Gambling / Re: PocketRocketsCasino.eu - 191BTC max payout! New daily lottery on: February 04, 2015, 07:58:06 PM
New Lottery Game:
Just added a provably fair lottery game. Choose 6,7,8 or 9 numbers out of 49.
Jackpot for 6 numbers currently at 10 Bitcoin. Prizes for 3,4 and 5 numbers also.
Draw will happen daily at 9pm GMT.
Tickets can be purchased up until 10 minutes before the draw.
Shortly after the draw winners will be paid and the secret revealed so you can verify the results.

Play now at https://pocketrocketscasino.eu/#lottery

So when choosing 9 numbers out of 49 and getting 7,8 or 9 correct, I'm awarded the 10 BTC jackpot that I would've gotten for just 6. Is that correct?
29  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com -- The Social Gambling Game on: February 03, 2015, 04:40:18 PM
love this, any chance to implement refferal bonus or perhaps timestamp on the chatbox?i find it hard to see if the chat is still new or not

MP has a variable house edge that starts at 0%. You would need to increase the minimal house edge to support anything like referral bonuses.

31  Economy / Gambling / Re: Challenge: What's the best way to win 1 BTC with 1 BTC? on: January 29, 2015, 04:24:18 PM
Strategy 1:
You're always playing 9900x using a martingale sequence, i.e. your wager for each round is
Code:
ceiling((2 - PLAYER_BR)/9899,1e-8)
you run out of funds after 6861 bets. You lose all of them with a probability of
Code:
0.9999^6861 = 0.5035187605260536
or put differently you have a 49.64812% chance of winning.

Strategy 2:
You're constantly playing 20203 satoshi but increase the payout each round by exactly 1x starting at 4951x which will leave you with 1.00004850 BTC profit. You run out of funds after 4949 games and your last payout will be 9899x. You lose all of them with a probability of
Code:
prod(1-0.99/i, i=4949..9899) = 0.5035283796177312
leading to a 49.64716% chance of winning.

I Hope the math is correct  Tongue

How much did you lost or scammed by someone?  Cry
30 BTC in 2012 when selling some Bitcoin to a scammer and 53 BTC to dice.ninja which disappeared with all funds in oct 2014.
35  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com -- The Social Gambling Game on: January 27, 2015, 11:45:37 AM
Yeah, I'm pretty sure Ryan is still all for adding investing. Not sure when its coming out though, he seems to be preoccupied with Vault (his other project)

Investments are actually one of the core features of Vault. From what I understand MoneyPot will migrate to Vault for bankroll and user balance management once it is stable enough. Other sites gambling sites will also be able to use Vault in the same way.

Just like MoneyPot, Vault is open source, so you can inspect the code and follow the progress on its GitHub page, if you're curious.

Github is not saying a lot, just that it's kind of a new wallet. What will be the main purpose of the "Vault"? How secure are the money currently stored in the MoneyPot game, or is this one of the issues they are trying to solve with "Vault"?

Main purpose of vault is to be a gambling wallet and investment wallet for multiple games including MoneyPot. I believe Ryan is trying to expand. Security-wise there's nothing which is improved in vault I believe.

The current situation on MoneyPot is the following AFAIK: Most of the funds are held in cold storage. I believe Ryan is using a trezor for cold storage as he mentioned using one multiple times in the chat. Cold storage addresses are not public and are not reused.
User deposit addresses are BIP32 addresses derived using the user id and are part of the hot wallet. Once the hot wallet has too much coins, some are spilled over to the cold storage. Idk exactly at which amount though.

Using our chosen starting serverSeed, the hash terminating the chain is c1cfa8e28fc38999eaa888487e443bad50a65e0b710f649affa6718cfbfada4d. That is to say, the first game played under the new provably fair scheme, will be played with this hash. The second money pot game played, when hashed will be this hash.

I don't like the wording. Was clearer before but fine with me. An offset of 1 doesn't really matter. But if you want to give everyone a free roll with a known hash, that's also fine with me Wink

I dont understand either.

please correct me where im wrong:
client seed: not yet known
server seed: priv. key of address

 hash terminating chain: c1cfa8e28fc38999eaa888487e443bad50a65e0b710f649affa6718cfbfada4d

^ how did you calculate that if you dont know the client seed?

OP updated the code. The server seed chain is calculated without the client seed as it's supposed to be. Look at the line in the for loop that updated the server seed variable:
Code:
  serverSeed = genGameHash(serverSeed);
