21  Economy / Speculation / Re: Peak of Bitcoin price on: August 15, 2017, 02:20:10 PM
No one knows. Bitcoin's market value fluctuates every day. These days, luckily, it's going up and up. The last time I checked was $4000 and there were also predictions that say time will come its value goes down. I hope these are untrue.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coin should I buy today on: August 14, 2017, 04:39:52 AM
As I see it, give it a go signal to buy bitcoin or ethereum. These are the popular cryptocurrencies used in ICO startups. Everex makes use of both virtual currencies to build a better and faster international remittance system. More details here, goo.gl/E2NDF2 Buying coins in ICO is a win-win. You support the new service that can make a big difference and you support the virtual money too.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's make ‘Buy Bitcoin’ Sign Appears Everywhere! on: August 14, 2017, 04:27:48 AM
"Buy Bitcoin" sign appearred again today.

Buy Bitcoin’ Sign Appears During DOTA International Tournament
https://cointelegraph.com/news/buy-bitcoin-sign-appears-during-dota-international-tournament

"Bitcoin made an unplanned appearance at the most recent DOTA (Defense of the Ancients) International Tournament, as an audience member held up a ‘Buy Bitcoin’ sign during announcements of the televised event.

Bitcoin has been frequently popping up in unlikely locations.  The current stunt, intended to increase awareness of Bitcoin, is not the first of its kind, after an audience member at Janet Yellen’s congressional briefing did the same.

Both events indicate a growing awareness of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies generally. The awareness may be part of the reason for the substantial price increases over recent months, with Bitcoin cresting $3700 today.

"

I expect more signs will pop up in sport events and many other places.  It is a way to promote Bitcoin as well as other cryptocurrencies.

This is, indeed, a great and free promotion for bitcoin. I'm a tennis fan so I look forward too signs popping up in Grand Slams. Hopefully, these bitcoin investors can get the support of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams. These are the icons of the tennis world. They have millions of followers in Twitter, which make them big influencers. The four of them can help circulate the good word as why people need to consider investing in bitcoin for a better tomorrow.

As I see it, ICO needs more channels to promote the real value of bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. Everex makes use of bitcoin and ethereum to build a better and quicker remittance system, details here: goo.gl/E2NDF2, but this start-up company alone needs other groups for a successful campaign. The cryptospace world needs more support from businessmen, athletes, movies etc.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin Dream? on: August 14, 2017, 04:14:41 AM
I have a dream of having a separated wallet solely for travel. I'm not sure if it's realistic but I know it will be. Many people nowadays use credit cards to go elsewhere. I, instead, will use bitcoin. It's a quicker transaction, right?
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: August 14, 2017, 04:08:23 AM
Definitely will remain supporters of Bitcoin But soon something new will appear that will change the world.

Yes. Bitcoin survives if the trend continues and bitcoin continues to lead the crypto space. There will be hundreds of new inventions and new technologies in 100 years but bitcoin stays as it is when people still use it as part of their daily routine.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Sound Money? on: August 14, 2017, 04:01:32 AM
I'm not going into all that debate and whatnot, all I know is that I can use bitcoin to buy things,
I can use it to pay for my bills, I can even convert it to cash anytime I want. So, as I see it, it's money.
More than that, like fiat it can buy things and like gold it's value could go up or down. Bitcoin does all these while making it easier for payments ;with the near instantaneous transactions and low fees then, as for the value; it could be both good and bad in terms of investmen/speculation becauee of the volatility.

There's no doubt. The answer is yes as stated in above answer. Bitcoin is a virtual money protected by a blockchain technology. It's safer than cash. It's less stressful than credit cards.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Biggest Misconception About Cryptocurrency on: August 14, 2017, 03:56:29 AM
Quote
The biggest misconception about cryptocurrency is that it’s just a passing trend, which is an emotional reaction to the paradigm shift that’s ultimately taking place. Cryptocurrency is here to stay – and as every minute passes, hundreds of thousands of new users are adopting it."

 - Ron Chernesky, CEO of investFeed

I think Ron has hit the point in here. Indeed, people are now starting to realize that Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general is already here and it has no plan to get dead or go away soon. I am sure that many people are quite apprehensive about Bitcoin and that can be normal because Bitcoin is something still new and it can take for people to adopt and thrive. Cryptocurrency has finally arrived and those in the forefront would reap most of the benefits resulting into the use of Bitcoin and other alts.

You can't please every one. Therefore, all can say something positive and negative about cryptocurrency. To those who are negative about it are probably not well-informed about its various benefits it can do. They still need to read more news. The truth is, the technology behind virtual money is guaranteed safe round the clock considering it's protected by a blockchain. The value of cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin and ethereum, are unstoppable. This is the kind of future we need to embrace. We're now living it.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: August 14, 2017, 03:26:09 AM
Like other investment programs, the market value of bitcoin investment fluctuates. Nothing is guaranteed 100%. It's up to you if you want to continue taking this risk or if you want to take it all out.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will banks start a war against bitcoin on: August 14, 2017, 03:21:32 AM
I know we are still at a start of cryptocurrencies, but bitcoin is growing with lightning speed right now and some banks already see it as a potential threat.
There has been a lot of accusations form banks, that bitcoin is perfect for money laundering and is used for supporting crime. I think they can do a lot of harm to bitcoin market and they will eventually start with harsh campaign against it. Do you thing it will happen and when?

War? What war are you talking about op. Banks are already using bitcoin technology called blockchain. There are some banks which are paying or accepting Bitcoins. Many are now encouraging it to. Yes there is a fear that banks may loose out business, but it's absurd nothing like this will ever happen, banks are more than happy to encourage Bitcoins as after conversion, it comes back to them.

As I see it, it's nonsense to have a war between banks and bitcoin. Banks can convert bitcoins into cash that is helpful to their daily cash flow. It's also possible to convert bitcoin into other currencies; therefore, these banks have no good reason to start a war. The truth is, the bitcoin technology which is known as "blockchain" protects their transaction round the clock.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: August 11, 2017, 01:34:46 PM
What makes people compel to hold the bitcoin in this critical situation? What are they waiting for? Any good reason?
I think many people hold the bitcoins because bitcoin's price will be more expensive in the future,
bitcoins be considered as new digital gold and digital asset, bitcoins can protect their whealty from inflation
so they hold bitcoins for long time.

Agreed. Holding bitcoin is a strategy. You need to have a plan when to spend it.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Successful ICOs? on: August 11, 2017, 01:28:06 PM
Hey there,

what are the most successfull ICOs in your opinion? How do you measure it? Are there any websites measuring all previous ICOs?

Thank you very much

It depends on your measure of success, price or user adoption? I don't remember now but there are few websites showing project's ico prices and current prices, you can get a idea from them

I remembered IMMLA (International Multi Modal Logistics App) made a successful pre-ICO.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 500,000$ to invest on: August 11, 2017, 01:23:02 PM
These are my suggestions:

One. You can participate in ICO and choose a start-up. Everex is a Singaporean company with a good mission. Alexi Lane and his team want to build a faster and better global remittance system. Everex token sale is still on-going, and both ethereum and bitcoin are accepted. If you're planning to invest, there's a sign up link here: goo.gl/E2NDF2 ICO investment, to me, is a win-win. You invest in cryptocurrency and at the same time, you're helping a company make a difference.

Two. You can invest in bitcoin itself. The market value of bitcoin is unstoppable. It keeps rising and it keeps surprising people all over the world. Why not join the fun? Who knows? This is the kind of investment program you're waiting for. Just remember: Expect less.

Three. Invest in your own company. Instead of risking your money to an existing company, why not start something new? Your start-up can use bitcoin in all payment transactions. You can also join the ICO Community.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you agree that Bitcoin is nearly to be just like another business? on: August 11, 2017, 01:08:32 PM
Yes. Of course. Anyone can't deny it. However, the great thing about this business is the fact that it can make a difference. Bitcoin is currently the most popular cryptocurrency that can end world corruption, that can stop transaction delays and that can bring a new hope to all new and existing investors.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: August 11, 2017, 12:58:02 PM
No. Nothing is guaranteed for anyone to get rich. Being rich is a lifestyle. It requires patience, hard work and smart investment. Bitcoin is the future of currency. We're now living its first few benefits. Yet, it doesn't mean we can get rich instantly once we invest. It all takes time and smart planning.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Whats needed to develop a cryptocoin??? on: August 10, 2017, 03:37:52 AM
What are the requirements to develop a crypto coin? lets suppose its initial price of 8satoshi.. how much amount will be needed completely? who will develop whats needed?

Does this sound that you are interested in creating your own token?
i think you need to have a team

Agreed. Developing a cryptocoin requires teamwork. You need programmers. You need a mining team. Of course, you need a marketing a team.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ICO Promotion on: August 10, 2017, 03:34:19 AM

37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptos to buy now ? on: August 10, 2017, 03:30:50 AM
I advice to you the best and legit site to read about cryptocurrency news is Cointelegraph based on my experience i read their daily and i see it is truth or legit.
And for which crypto is good to buy now i suggest to you XEM and DGB, Dgb are on the dump stage now and good to buy i think on few days dgb will go up and especially Xem too are on dump stage now i think it is the time that the correction of alts will gone but mostly all of coins on top 20 coinmarketcap is good to buy and hold.

Bitcoin. Never count it out as it consistently tops the crypto market space. Second is ethereum. You can use ethereum tokens in various ICO projects.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Cryptocurrency world on: August 10, 2017, 03:26:27 AM
One thing is for sure: Cryptocurrency is here to stay. Right now, all cryptocurrencies are doing well in the market with bitcoin strongly on top. This trend continues. I'm confident the teams behind this technology are working hard round the clock to achieve great results every day.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much bitcoin do you need now to be a millionaire? on: August 10, 2017, 02:59:33 AM
If Bitcoin can survive its governance problems, forkmania, get some decent exchanges and something ETF esque I think $20,000 is achievable by the early 2020s. So 50 gets my vote. That's not remotely achievable for most here now.

Of course if you and Bitcoin stick around long enough you'll end up being a millionaire simply thanks to inflation with one or less.

Probably, the keyword to remember here is to wait. Patience is a virtue as they say. If we'll wait for the right time, we'll know how much bitcoin we'll need and live like a millionaire. Being a millionaire is a lifestyle, right? It's not a goal. So, the road to getting there requires patience and consistent hardwork.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why buy altcoins or invest into ICOS if 99.9% are scams? on: August 09, 2017, 02:02:58 PM
I never believe all ICO projects are scam. There are some but not as big as this 99.9% scale. I did participate in some and you know what, I realized it's worth investing. The ICO isn't a perfect world. It's a risky world like any investment programs. The biggest edge of ICO is the use of cryptocurrency, which is a new idea we need to embrace. Cryptocurrency, particularly bitcoin and ethereum, is an interesting hot item to explore. These virtual currencies are well-protected by a blockchain technology, which means all our investments will remain safe round the clock. It's just a matter of having the confidence to continue the risk or be swallowed by doubt and paranoia.
