1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptomarket all in red! on: June 03, 2018, 04:01:45 PM
That is what happens when the prices of the coin goes down. Although now we are in a green market because there has been some recovery of some sorts when the prices went up a bit. So less red than we have had in the past few weeks. Now though as the prices are still down, prices of coins are still very cheap so people who have been waiting to invest should do so now
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most interesting Altcoin so far on: June 01, 2018, 10:26:59 AM
The altcoins that i have found the most interesting so far has to be between monero and ethereum. With ethereum the blockchain is just spectacular and I am waiting to see what the team behind it ends up doing with the project. While for monero, the fact that there is now an increasing need for good privacy coins is one of the reason that I am interested in it, to see if it becomes the top privacy coin
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most of the cryptos are falling except ETH. Reason? on: June 01, 2018, 10:15:01 AM
It could be due to the fact that ethereum now has the highest number of investors, you know that if demand is high then the price of the coin goes up. The only thin that is keeping the price of ethereum from skyrocketing is because it still depends greatly on the price of bitcoin for its value but as soon as ethreum can detach itself from bitcoin then we will be seeing a lot more growth
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To Make Money While You Sleep on: May 31, 2018, 03:41:10 PM
Mostly if you have your money in coins that are doing well then those coins will most certainly be making you a lot of money while you sleep. As for the lending program, I do not trust any of them because they make you bring in your friends or families to invest in too so if the projects end up failing then you have a lot of angry friends and family that you need to appease
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what causes the price of altcoin down? on: May 31, 2018, 03:27:13 PM
Mostly when the price of bitcoin goes down, the entirety of the market prices go down with it so the prices of altcoin go down when the price of bitcoin goes down. Until coins can detach from under the shadow of bitcoin, anytime that the price of bitcoin goes down then the prices of altcoins will always go down with it. Also when a lot of people are dumping an altcoin, the prices go down.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With how much should i start on: May 30, 2018, 08:47:12 PM
You should start with whatever that you can afford, there is no fixed amount of money that you have to invest before you can start. Mostly, it is better to just invest a small amount at first for you to get a feel of the market before you invest any substantial amount of money into cryptos. Just find a good project that you would like to invest in and then buy into it for starters.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC on: May 29, 2018, 09:08:02 PM
If these campaigns and projects keep requiring people to do KYC to particpate or get their rewards after they were done promoting the campaign, they should not be surprised if people start flooding them with fake identifications. People are not very keen on giving out their personal information online to people that they do not know. Some people are really good at using fake IDs.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Before Investing in Cryptocurrencies on: May 28, 2018, 05:39:50 PM
Before you invest in e-money you should find out about the coin you are looking to invest in and moreover you also need to find yourself a reputable trading platform for you to trade safely.

Better to do this first, investigating and studying each project that you are aiming to support before placing your money is the right idea behind crypto, as we are in the new era of system where people are also aiming the same thing, with enough knowledge and good understanding you will be able to succeed,
but before you can do that a lots of considerations that you needed to assess, things that will lead you into a good decision making and keep you in the right track, invest with enough amount that you are willing let go and always have second options and plan well.

Yeah couldn't agree with you more that much research needs to get done before investing into any ICO since a large amount of them arre scams. Most of them are going to be worthless very soon just like most websites/companies during the dot com bubble became worthless after the big crash so will blockchain companies and only a few of them will survive. (like Coinbase)
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: holding and prices will go up ? on: May 28, 2018, 01:15:38 PM
Holding is a big part of making money from cryptocurrencies as an investor. If you are not trading then holding your coins is the next option for you. Just like the prices couldn't stay up forever and started dipping, the same way the prices of the coins cannot stay down forever. It might take some time but the prices will definitely recover and start going back up again, just be patient.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No bull run in sight? on: May 28, 2018, 01:00:14 PM
We should not be expecting another bull run this year since we already had one at the beginning of the year. Bull runs don't just come all the time, the bears eat up a lot of time. The rest of the year is looking to be another long bear run like the other years after bulls have been. There really is not reason for a bull run to happen this year but if it ends up happening, all the better.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most important rule when buying ICO? on: May 27, 2018, 05:13:32 PM
Do your own research. I can't stretch this point enough. Don not rely on other people to tell you what projects you should put your money into. There might be some points that they will miss but you will notice when you are doing your own research. Also never invest more than you can afford to lose into icos, they are a risky venture with which you would lose all your money if it fails.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can now buy Apple products with crypto!!! on: May 27, 2018, 04:50:12 PM
This is incorrect. There is no listing that says that you can buy apple products, there is no such indication on their sites nor in their stores. You can buy second hand apple products from people who are selling theirs. If they are willing to take cryptos then you can buy with cryptos but that is about it. Apple has not started accepting crypto payments for any of their products.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: crypto going strong ? on: May 25, 2018, 10:40:12 AM
It is still going strong for now even though the prices are falling. The red market is back anyway but it doesn't look too bad. looking at bitcoin the price is still in the $7000 territory so there is still a strong hold going on. In the past the prices have fallen lower than that so this one is looking good for now. I am just amazed that now $7000 is a low market for us, we really have come a long way.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 150 ETH OR 9.5 BTC? on: May 24, 2018, 01:25:36 PM
Hold ethereum. My reason for this is that bitcoin has grown too much and ethereum is the coin that still has the potential to grow to give about 500 percent profit while with bitcoin the best that you can hope for now is 200 percent profit at most. So stick with ethereum, there is a lot of more to be made from it and you do not want to end up missing out on all of it.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple: A long term investment or short term? on: May 24, 2018, 01:10:22 PM
A long term investment is a better description for ripple investment than a short term investment. Ripple is one of those coins that you can be rest assured that while they are doing very well in the short term, they will end up doing well in the long term. So if you are going to invest in ripple then I suggest you should prepare yourself and view it as a form of long term investment.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In three days, the crypto market loses $42 billion of capitalization on: May 23, 2018, 10:58:04 AM
This is the reason for the price dropping so much in the past couple of days and now it is just on a downward spiral. People keep dumping so much coins and taking so much money out of the market and it affects the prices negatively. $42billion leaving the market in a couple of days is not small money and it will really affect the prices for a long while before we can start seeing any increase in prices again
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it normal to wait for 6 months for a bounty reward? on: May 22, 2018, 01:26:10 PM
Six months is way too long to wait for a bounty reward. Contact the bounty manager and see what the hold up is all about, It could be that they have paid others and might have missed you and if it turns out that it is one of those bounties that never pay the rewards they promised, then at least you would know and can move on to other projects without having to worry about that one all the time.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is King and Ethereum is Queen , Do you agree ? on: May 22, 2018, 01:12:58 PM
Seems like a good representation if you ask me. Bitcoin is the first and best coin in the market and it has highest price and highest market value which makes it the king of all coins. Then there is ethereum following behind and doing very well too and keeping up the pace and it can be described as the queen but that will only be for a short time because ethereum is coming for bitcoin's spot
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Attention binance users!!! A phishing scam on: May 21, 2018, 05:49:28 PM
When you are using any exchange or any site that deals with the holding and trading of cryptos then you should always have it in mind that there is a chance of a phishing scam being carried out which means you should be very careful each time you log into your accounts. Mostly, as long as you are not greedy for unrealistic rates, then you do not end up falling for these scams anyway because they prey on human greed.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto will be mainstream in a few years on: May 21, 2018, 05:35:04 PM
No doubt that it will be but this will only be possible if the lightening project goes into full effect. Without instant transfers then people would be less inclined to join in cryptos. Also the fees need to be worked on too, if there is a coin that can be used without any fees for transfer and just using the crypto as a currency then it would encourage more people to see and use it as a currency
