3.6? Thats like a millennium old now! FF5 beta is out
I prefer Chrome - and on this particular machine I am on now I rarely used it for development (i.e. FireBug). Will check on one of my other machines after my morning coffee.

mmm is the btcdeals pricing correct?
0.13 BTC for usb card reader + free shipping? That would suggest you are asking around $1.20 with shipping included?
Im asking cause if you made an error then you are about to lose alot of money.
100% correct - and I am still earning a little off the top. Hopefully will be earning more on larger items when I feel more comfortable with everything.

It also told me, using newest firefox, that the certificate was not confirmed.
Hmm odd - checked using FF 3.6 and it shows it too... I set it up using the free SSL certificate that you get when you register a domain at Gandi.net and provided full and valid information. Looking it up real quick doesn't show a general incompatibility with their SSL certs. Will look in to this further and hopefully can resolve it quickly. Wondering if it's related to it still being new? I literally registered the domain 10 hours ago, and started the SSL process 8 hours ago and I think I only received the actual certificate around 7 hours ago. I've dealt with SSL before, but never in this timeline - anyone know if that could play a factor?

Woops - thanks - fixed. And with that I am going to get some sleep 5:30 am and spent the last 24 hours working on this. Rest is needed!

You've spelled "Dollars" wrong on the "BTC?" page: https://www.btcdeals.com/BTC/This looks like a cool site. I don't think I want a flash card reader, but I'll check back. Thanks! - fixed that. Copy was literally the last thing I did before going live - so I am sure it could be updated to sound a bit more professional as well. I figured the flash card reader would be a good test start - not something that most people will care about, cheap enough for those who say why not, and it allows me to at least get the site going. Better items will come in time

Cool, now I can buy cheap stuff off there without mum getting angry cuz im using her creditcard haha Also, does it just have to be 1 a day? Couldn't it be like 5 or something? I'm going to stick with the one product type a day for now - I'm already trying to keep up with my initial orders since I didn't streamline that enough yet. Once I get it worked out I could always add more products If you have requests for stuff I am more than willing to hear them!

You wouldn't happen to be using dealextreme or something like that? ^_^
For this particular first test run - yes. But I do have a a tax id and all the proper paper work to work with a specific wholesaler that I use. The investment on my part will be a bit larger dealing with those products so I want to make sure the idea makes sense, that my code works as desired and also to gain a little trust before I go that route.

Just launched https://www.btcdeals.com/Eventually this will be a BTC only deal a day site - but as I start things out the products will be on the much cheaper end to gauge interest and test things out. In the beggining I may not change the product every day either - but hopefully I will be able to pick up rather quickly. Products will be electronic/computer/gadget related. Products will launch at midnight EST and run for 24 hours. The price in BTC will be determined based on the previous days Mtgox average. Feedback and comments are welcomed - this is my first site dealing with Bitcoins, and it's basically a weekend project though I think I managed to get it quite polished in that time. If you have any questions feel free to leave them on here or via the support form on the site.

No, I don't. That is part of the work -- to know the meaningful names, you must figure out what the code does.
Then I'm not sure a Perl script is what you are currently looking for... This would be a completely manual process (with search/replace done in an editor) to figure out what each function does, how it should be named and how it would affect the rest of the script. At this point, post-figuring it all out, it would already be done, converted and if the person was smart, they would have made plenty of inline comments during this process (it would only have helped them out). A Perl (or any language) script at this point wouldn't serve much purpose except for replaying what has already been figured out... How big is the JS file you are trying to un-obfuscate? Is it currently a 1-line minified file of X characters length, or has it already been beautified to break out the functions over X amount of lines?

Interesting thread... I recently heard about a way someone sells "previously abandoned" bikes here in NYC. Buyer contacts seller, and gives his address (or convenient area). Buyer places the bike, locked up in the area and gives the location of the bike to the buyer. If the buyer approves of the bike (visual inspection, etc), and payment is made - then the seller sends the combination to the lock and the transaction has been made - with no physical interaction. The seller remained anonymous the entire time, and was in complete control of where he placed the bike. Taking that same process in to the thought process being used here, one could use something like http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200306973_200306973. Simply use a bike chain, and hook up this padlock with the chain somewhere (not really that odd since there are tons of bike chains sans bikes in NYC). The padlock contains a compartment that can only be opened by knowing the combo - once the bitcoin transaction has been completed, the combo is provided to the buyer. More shots/info of the linked lock: http://www.iwebstall.com/master-lock-5400d-select-access-key-storage-box-with-review/

And, I found a bug in your example perl script. These lines should be: open INPUT_JS, "<", "input.js" or die "Failed to open"; open OUTPUT_JS, ">", "output.js" or die "Failed to open"; Additionally I don't think a simple one-time pass would be ideal for un-obfuscating javascript - the biggest issue is dealing with global vs local scope and how to handle that appropriately.

Do you already have the meaningful names that the variables would be converted to - or would that be part of the work?
